I got two scoops, Rocky Road and pecan, both were delicious. They got really cool wooden Picnic tables too. On hot days especially, this place will be extremely popular. The owner is extremely cool. He mentioned that he's bringing back the Doheny Paddle Fest this summer too. He has a passion for thrifty ice cream, paddle boards, the community, Dana point, he's been in business for decades, I remember coming here as a teen. Additionally, The employees were all chill. At the moment, this is the only place that I know of that serves thrifty ice cream here in Orange County. So I was willing to pay a lot. - but didn't have to because all the prices were great. Not worthy, they did everything correctly, such as using the special thrifty brand scooper, wearing gloves, they had all the right cones. Multiple flavors too. It was all perfectly done. We Plan on coming back here Real soon with more family members and friends! The man who approached me, who I believe was the manager, told me that even service dogs weren't allowed inside. He wasn't respectful or willing to have a conversation, he simply pointed me toward the door and made it clear I needed to leave. What made the experience even more disappointing was that another customers walked out with me and shared their own negative experiences with the same manager. It's hard to understand how someone with such poor customer service is still representing the store. He's driving customers away, not bringing them in. I won't be returning after the way I was treated. (Manager was and older grouchy man)

Searching for a pair of boots in my size was a bit hard, given due to the fact I didn't want to drop over $450 on a good pair ( I know it's an investment but I just wanted a pair for pictures and go to Dollywood) but in the future I'll invest in one. Now upon coming here, I always passed by this store a lot during my time on Del Mar but never really wanted to go in until Friday where I was picking up my dinner from Taqueria Luna (across from them) and had to see what they offer. She told me the biggest size they carry is a ten on which I understand but hey, can't hurt to try some on. Guys...I was not only shocked in the cute cowgirl boots but I was torn between to color, different materials which of course, Paige help me on it. I ended up picking the beige boots since it was leather and it can be stretch upon wearing it, and I freaking love it! They do have a wide selection on boots with different styles and materials, and a lot of heels and sandals too! Not just boots. I also told my bestie to come to see the boots when she have a chance since she too, is looking for a pair. I'll post another update review after my trip with my pair of boots to see how it holds up. My boots cost $129.25 with tax ($119) Honestly, pretty darn good value on boots and yes, I know there is a Boot Country in Nashville on their buy one get three free but I don't want to risk getting blisters during the trip.
