It's EVERYTHING surf and Rip Curl...I can literally spend an easy hour in this outlet. Just outside the SD county line, simple to get to. The past few times I've been in, it hasn't been busy. The deals are amazing, staff is pretty helpful and parking is usually easy, street parking is available also. There's racks and racks of sale items, from clothes to wetsuits, hats and boots even. I've come here 2-3 times a year for as long as I can remember. It was a ritual to pick up everyday seasonal apparel like sweatshirts, board shirts and and tanks. I even have a few great jackets and sweaters which are super good quality and a fraction of the price. For the past several years the clothing selection - especially women's-- is so confusing. The tank tops are huge and stretched out, I'm usually a M/L and got an XS shirt..,it was shaped like a long tube sock. I used to buy sweaters but now they are all stretched out looking and frayed - this can be a "look" but it's not, who is buying these?? I get your clothes are made in Bangladesh and this is an outlet, but even at $10 I cannot support the quality. If they get better women's stuff (we bring the men) I'll be back. Wow I feel like we hit the jackpot when we discovered this amazing outlet store in San Clement. We love everything RipCurl and this place had it all at the most affordable prices. We were greeted and welcomed by classy guys and even our Golden Retriever and Bernese Mountain dog were invited in so we could shop without worrying about them. We came here when our son was 2 and got him some Rip Curl shirts as pajama shirts then turned into regular shirts and now he's 10 and grown out of them! Haha!!! So it was time for another shopping spree..... For $200 bucks we got 7 rip curl tee shirts, 3 rip curl dress shirts, 2 pairs of sweat pants, 2 hats, one pair of board shorts, one long sleeved shirt and 2 air fresheners! With the water warming up, I needed to find a nice spring wetsuit. I'm new to the surfing world so I am not familiar with wetsuit sizing. Due to Covid, I was not able to try on products which made the task of finding a new wetsuit a little daunting. Thankfully, a sales associate named Hunter offered me assistance. Hunter helped me with sizing, gave me feedback concerning the different spring wetsuit styles, and informed me about the current markdowns. He also answered my questions regarding exchanges since I was not able to try the product on for size. I ended up with the G-Bomb Springsuit which was an excellent purchase. You gotta hunt for the deals here. Yes, some of the workers aren't helpful. Chances are they would rather be surfing - but dig deep and you will find some awesome prices! Ask around for daily specials and be nice to the workers. Don't leave tons of messed up wetsuits and clothes in the fitting rooms and they just may be willing to give you some super deals. This is a great place to go to find wetsuits, rash guards, swim suits, sandals and clothing. Discounted prices and usually a pretty good selection of items. I've gotten a few rash guards and a wet suit here and they have all been great! It is conveniently located near Trestles and San O, so if you need to pick up something on your way this is a good spot! read more

The selection here is pretty decent... I had been here once years ago but at that time they didn't have what I was looking for, this time I needed a wetsuit and found one. It was on sale but not the huge discount that I was expecting since a friend just picked up an awesome one for half the price I got and his is better and newer tech. Oh well! The two stars (I really wanted to one star it) actually has nothing to do with that, it has to do with the fact that the dude that helped me out and rung me up overcharged me. I found two decent board shorts on the sale rack (BYGOF) the tag on both had about 10 different orange stickers with a price tag of $19.99 for each... I live in Pasadena and when I got home I took everything out of the bag (including the receipt) and I saw that I had been charged $39.99 for the board shorts... So I basically paid full price. It's not worth the drive just to have it corrected and I paid cash so it's not like I can have them adjust that over the phone. Chances are that by the time I make it back down there it'll be too late to do anything. Nothing worse than a store who's Point of sales doesn't match the merchandise.... Probably a clerks fault, but management should be checking that things are done properly since the business is the one who gets the poor review and not the staff. Business 101 people. Anyway, the shorts are nice the wetsuits nice, but the overcharge is lame. read more

I got my rashguard here and some of the stuff are hit or miss. Wetsuits are a good deal but some of the womens sale rack and clothes are still a bit pricey in my opinion at least. Great variety of size/colors for wetsuits. Luckily I fit in the little girls suits or boys. Some of them are as cheap as $89. Rashgaurds are starting around $20. Theres a good amount of surfboards, some shoes, there are lots of guys tank tops, shirts, pants, and bikinis for girls. Horrendous experience. Clerks are snappy with zero interest helping or even selling (what a novel concept) something. My friend suggested they are stoned which I don't believe. It can still be a bit pricey for "discounts" but I guess that's kind of the standard when you involve yourself in any sport whether it's on land or in the water. I think they could definitely do with a bigger selection for women as far as wetsuits and rash guards go. Customer service is great! The first time I stopped in I bought a rash guard for a little less than 40$ and when I finally decided to invest in a wetsuit, I had a million and one newbie questions & all were happily answered by the employees here. I grabbed a women's long sleeve spring wetsuit for about 75$. Tried a few others on to figure out the sizing, and proceeded to have a mini freak out about whether or not I was too fat to squeeze my body parts into such a snug suit, but I lucked out and found one that fit! Bonus - 3 year warranty on stitching (keep or take photo evidence of your receipt ;) ) They also carry a huge selection of sundresses, tshirts , women's clothing in general, board shorts, bikinis, sunglasses, and hats as well!! If it didn't hurt my heart so much to drop about 20$ on hats or sunglasses I definitely would've grabbed some. I hope this place sticks around, it's becoming my go to for my bodyboarding needs. read more

Prices are excellent, selection can be hit or miss, but you will always spend at least $20 here since they always have cool stuff, just not the shirt or shorts, you were looking for, but a cool hat or a pair of sandals. A very cool place to get all the gear moving through Rip Curl's Retail chain that doesn't get moved in there flagship store, I can not recommend this place enough if you are looking for a Wetsuit at the end of the season (hint hint...) or if you need to pick up rash guards, board-shorts and don't care what year they are, surf packs, etc etc... The inventory is hit and miss (all very dependent on their latest shipment) but if you come in enough times, you are bound to strike gold. This place is sick! Rip curl overstock of last seasons collections sits waiting for you to stop in a find a nice little piece that will make you feel great because you aren't paying full retail price. So you have to do a little bit of hunting but its definitely worth it. They have the best deals on older model wetsuits. Usually at the end of summer the older model wetsuits get into the store so just FYI if you are in the market new seal suit. read more

The best is once summers over the womens swimwear is so cheap! $5 dollars per piece! really cute stuff though I did have to dig to find them, but totally worth it.
