Everyone likes to get Lost when they come to Catalyst why is this you ask well it's because I've known this place as the Lost Shack for many many years as they used to have an abundance of Lost merchandise as well as your new surfboard! Over the years they have gone through a few changes and now are pretty much only surfboards many of them new or used with a good amount of Lost boards in the mix so you can get your sheep on in the water! They have a limited selection of merchandise as they are trying to become just surfboards which is cool because that's what this store has always been known for. The good side to this is all the merchandise they do have is heavily discounted so your sure to find something awesome for a good price! The parking here is super limited but don't let that stop you as there is a great amount of killer things inside that you must definitely checkout especially if your going to be surfing all those radical spots that are in San Clemente! Overall I'm sure it won't be too long before I venture back here as they have always had what's good inside the store! read more

This is a cool little shop with lots of lost stuff (surf/skate co, not the tv show). I come almost every time I'm in town to check out all their new stuff. It's a ways away from the "downtown" area of San Clemente (Del Mar) so there won't be as many people (tourists) there - but it's pretty close to the Rainbow store so if you're in a shopping mood you better stop on by! The parking is awful - don't even attempt to park in the "lot" unless you are a competent driver. read more

On vacation with hubs, stopped in to check it out and loved it. The kids working there were very friendly and helpful. Sam helped me. She was very friendly and sweet. The WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Just bought the wrong size sandals for my grandson for Christmas. We came in to exchange for a bigger size with our receipt, but no tag on the sandals. The girl behind the counter told me we couldn't exchange without the tag and proceeded to call her boss and talk to him in front of me explaining to him that these women were here with an exchange and in the sassiest voice told him we didn't have a tag. They were selling it for $225.00, but I found it at two other places nearby for $200.00, and also on the Nixon website for $200.00. So I bought the exact same watch at Zumiez two miles away. I think they know that ...Lost has such a strong foothold in the surf industry with a big name, so they don't try hard to run a good shop with decent or consistent customer service.
