Well they have super long lines and no baggers. So the cashier has to bag and it can take so much…read moreextra time. Unless you the customer bags your own stuff. But the elderly can't do that so it's why the lines are so long. Now here is the kicker. At the end of the checking line is a manager ...sometimes 2. A man and a woman. They are observing the long lines...counting something...just observing. It would help if THEY just go to the end of a long line and start bagging! See, that would be cool! You see you guys have not scheduled any baggers and the lines are so long they are down the aisles .. and you are just standing there? Of course they may say, well that's not my job. But that's the mentality that keeps things moving slow. It would be so nice if people just did what it takes to keep things moving. Either hire enough people OR get in there and start bagging! I remember back in the days there was a bagger at the end of each checkout aisle. A bagger and a casher! Those days are gone ...and most stores now see if they can get away with overworking the checker! Next thing you know they install self check outs! Rather than hire people and keep a system of people working they just get rid of people and have 1 person observing (like these managers were doing). What a world we are moving towards. But anyways that's what you see. I wish they would just hire bag boys and go back to the good ol days.

My new favorite is called Rose Pasadena smoothie. It contains: organic rose water, malk organic almond milk, organic coconut milk, organic beet juice, organic strawberries, GROW organic bananas, organic maple syrup, organic coconut collagen, organic goji berries, organic lucuma, organic coconut cream, & organic vanilla stevia.

The smoothie was solid, but for the price, I expected something that would really impress me -- and unfortunately, it just didn't. I understand they use healthy, high-quality ingredients, and I'm sure there are plenty of benefits to what they put into their smoothies. But at the end of the day, when I'm paying that much for a smoothie, I expect the taste and overall experience to be on another level. For me, the price-to-quality ratio just isn't there. Maybe it was just the specific location I visited, but after trying it a few times, I still walk away thinking, "Is this really worth the price?" I wanted to love it because of all the hype, but unfortunately, I just haven't had that experience yet.

Med (24oz) $4.49 Large (32oz) $4.99 X-Large (40oz) $5.99 Jug (72 oz) $9.99 My mind immediately went to "that's only 50 cents more...and that's a dollar more..." I walked out with a full jug of watermelon. They served it with no ice but I'm sure you can ask for it with. It felt like a paint can but it lasted me a few days of delicious hydration. I am a fan!! Employee was prompt and I was lucky to not have much of a line. Worth the wait!! Bolillos were freshly made as I was on the way to leave, so I stopped and grabbed a few. 2 for $1 is such a great deal and good quality bread. Yum!

Oh wow, Vallarta Supermarkets has become my go-to place to shop, eat, and drink! I happen to be in…read morethe Pasadena area and dropped by to check out their La Cocina (The Kitchen). I wanted to try their tacos, rice, and beans which I did... very good by the way. Besides that, I so desired to seek out their ceviche selection which I did as well. I got to try 5 different ceviches... spicy fish, spicy shrimp, shrimp + avocado + mango (non-spicy), butterfly shrimp (aguachile), and spicy shrimp (aguachile rojo). They also have non-spicy fish and shrimp ceviches. Thanks Scott for the free samples! I loved the citrus taste of the spicy shrimp and shrimp + avocado + mango! I think they need to make a spicy version of the latter or combine it with spicy shrimp. Just my 2 cents! I ended up with about half a pound of each ceviche flavor. After taking my first bite, I said to myself, "I should have gotten 1 to 2 lbs of each instead especially when it was on sale for $9.99 per lb." I won't make that same mistake next time LOL. During my visit, I was very impressed with the different sections of the store starting with La Cocina a La Panadería (Bakery) a La Verdulería (Produce) a La Pescadería (Seafood (ceviches made fresh daily is here)) a La Cremeria (Dairy). They even have the guacamole and aguas frescas made to order stations. How cool is that! Store was bright and clean. Aisles were organized and well stocked. Mexican food and groceries selections are massive. Lots of the foods are freshly made in-house daily. Prices are very reasonable. They have inside and outside dining space for customers to sit and eat. Free parking is plenty. Staff was super friendly and nice. I will definitely be visiting Vallarta again soon!

They have selections you can find at other grocery stores like abertsons. I noticed they sell things in bulk and they have plenty of stations so you can come for lunch. They have the salad station, olive bar, hot foods with asian food. Soo many things. There is even a dining area if you plan to eat there. I saw they sold mila dumplings that ive see online. Pretty interesting. Will come again to explore. They even have amazon pick up and drop off next to the escalators. Parking is on the bellevue side next to the storage.

It went straight to the trash, and never will I buy pizza from here again. Another time, the pizza stand was completely empty and I saw numerous packaged pizza doughs that looked like they had been out and over proofing for wayy too long! It wasn't refrigerated, and when I asked what happened, they said the burner broke down. If that's the case , you need to refrigerate the dough or hire someone that cares enough to handle food properly there. The cashiers never smile, don't make eye contact, and never greet you. They all look miserable ALL THE TIME! One time a cashier filled up one of my bags with really heavy groceries then told me to put it in the cart. I tried to pick it up and almost got a hernia ,and so I told him it's too heavy and I can't pick it up, and he just ignored me. He didn't try to put it in the cart himself because even he couldn't (it was so heavy). He didn't have the common sense or decency to even try emptying some of it into another bag . He just stood there, said nothing. (I ended up doing that myself) I tried to cut some slack for these guys, and give them the benefit of the doubt, and I've never once been rude to anyone there (even when I felt I had every right) I still kept quiet. However, the consistency of the horrendous customer service skills is disgraceful and disgusting. Where are the managers? Who is on the hiring committee? Why aren't any of these people getting proper training? Where is quality control? It's sad that standards are so low at this location that you treat your long time loyal customers this bad. Truly a shame. If I was a health inspector, I'd be shutting down your pizza center first, then I'd fire every single cashier there and train proper human beings to work with human beings.
