Last year during a microburst storm, they called me while it was still raining to say they noticed water pooling in some areas; wanted to let us know in case we wanted to check our unit. We went right over and everything safe and dry. All the staff were working hard to clear puddles. Beth and the other lady who works in the office are unfailingly professional, and courteous. I should return the courtesy by learning her name! Thank you for your excellent customer service & security measures.

Don't care nothing alse than $ no signs on trying to help regardless of the situation. It's sad to see humans what we have become. I have read the other opinions about Nellis Self Storage and I am so sorry for all those bad…read moreexperiences but they looks so in the past to me or perhaps there are just people confusing places reviewing here in Yelp. I was looking everywhere in Las Vegas for an affordable storage and I couldn't find it in the center of the city, it takes my 10 minutes driving but I am very please with the price of my unit , with the friendly and warm people working there, with all the cameras around the property, with the insurance they provide, all areas inside are very clean, elevator works properly oh well, the elevators are slow but those are heavy lifting elevators that's the way those suppose to be. my access code works perfect since the first day I was there, yes, one access code per each storage unit, so they control who is entering to the property, security is primordial and they have it ! If you decide to go there remember to ask for the free Padlock. One thing they should improve but isn't enough to lose an star in my review: inside the storage building I prefer to have sensors for light activation and not to have to touch the light switch at the wall. I know what I want and I am not afraid to go for it .

When I originally got the storage she told me "just no living in the storage" witch I thought was strange but then after being here looking for a key we lost moving that opens the door to my daughters work. They started giving me dirty looks and staring into my storage. They have a group of older men that all come here individually change there clothes spray cologne talk on the phone. We moved into the storage when our new apartment fell through and we had to find a new place. So everything work clothes shoes towels was put in here but beside other people use there storage as a closet. One morning my daughter went to work at 5 am she needed boots for a party but you can't get in till they open so I waited on the other side of wall by the sushi place for them to open because we are staying on the other side of town. It was the day it was raining so I left the car on and I'm 40 so I fell asleep to the rain I bounced up forgot where I was an the women that works here was staring at me as soon I looked up in a very strange way like I was being surveillance or watched. Now every single time I come in which I waited over a week they start cleaning one even came one day and just stood there watching me pull my things out and wrote in la her phone. I'm sorry, but am I not allowed to be in my storage? Am I not allowed to go through my things? Is there a specific amount of time I'm supposed to be here cause I'm sure you could hold everybody accountable. It's the day and age where women are vilified and old drunks or drugs addict are felt sorry for even though this world was created for them now I come in today and theirs two women mopping in the middle of the day i'm using the bathroom and they're waiting outside of the bathroom when I come out I wait for them to decide where they're going because they're just standing there so then when they don't decide, I decide and I start to move. She head straight for me with the cart and then they start to speak about me as soon as I passed them, they're talking about me saying see look what did I tell you laughing real professional don't speak has an attitude so I'm talked about stalked harassed and vilified for doing the same thing anyone else comes here to do Mind you me and my daughter come alone don't make a mess. Sunday the 29th of March I arrived to pick up my reservation. I encountered two employees on the…read morelot. I asked where do I go for the reservation? They directed me to inside the store at the left side of the building. I went in completed my rental and returned to my car. I was blocked in as I had parked at the front of the store. There is no clearly marked parking spots for customers. I managed to pull around the U-Haul truck that was parked in the half circle driveway blocking my car. After this I pulled around along the left side of the business. Still unsure where to go to pick up the trailer I was wander around the trailers and trucks parked on the lot. The person working seen me, finished with the customer they were with and promptly hopped into a truck with trailer attached. They said nothing to me, this is the same person I encountered when I arrived. I continued to look around and decided to drive on to the back lot behind the store where this person went. Upon arriving in the back lot I seen many more trucks and trailers. The employee seen me walked past my car, I stood there next to my car waiting.They proceeded to the trailer and stood there looking my direction. After about a minute I turned and asked "Do you need me to back up to the trailer?" They said " yes", after backing up with zero assistance to indicate if I shou keep backing up or if I was close enough I stopped. Put my car in park and got out. They said "Where are the hooks?" I reached down and felt them "I said they are right here." They continued to feel for them and asked again in a rude voice "Where?" I asked "do you want me to connect it?" No answer...... they continued to be unable to hook the chains on the hook. So I asked again "do you want me to do it?" They said "No!" While it took 4 minutes for them to connect the trailer I was never spoken to. They did not say a word when they finished, no thanks, no all set, not one word was spoken to indicate all is well and I could leave. As they walked away I figured it was safe to assume they were finished. That entire encounter was awkward uncomfortable and left a bad feeling in my mind. I left went straight home and found that a brand new item I had sitting on my front seat was now missing. Did I mention the car I was driving has recording and I was busy that day didn't have a chance to check the footage however I sat down today and looked at it. No wonder why they were so rude to me. No wonder why they didn't acknowledge me didn't make eye contact nothing they stole out of my front passenger seat. They stole the item that I had just purchased that was sitting on my front passenger seat.

I'm glad I went the extra few miles out if the way. Jeremy answered the phone and was very helpful..equally so when I showed up the next day. Both GMs were there and helped me with some extras..and smiles...And customer service hard to find these days. I was not their only customer and each if us were given personal attention. Upon dropping off, more customers that were in and out happily!
