Make sure you watch their billing. Seems they like to bill you for their property insurance even when you have your own. Shame on me for not looking closer at my bill, but I took my 20x20 unit full of stuff to another storage company when they would not refund my money for coverage I did not need. Called them again, they stated they could complete the rental over the phone, then they couldn't. They also stated $29 move in fee which jumped to $41 due to $12 insurance fee they do not disclose. The staff were always nice, and the facilities were simply standard. Yes, there were sketchy people hanging out at times, but they never bothered me. My issues are that the corporation is always raising the rates. Inflation, this, inflation that. The increases are not justified, in my opinion. The straw that broke the camels back was they attempted to make me sign an agreement that said I could not leave a bad review. WTF is that about. I moved out after that. Was considering renting here but saw homeless people loitering near the dumpster and the loading dock. As I was leaving I saw a couple come out of the building and the girl was putting a pair of bolt cutters in her bag. Not a good sign to rent here. read more

Brittany was super nice and quick to give me what I needed. She was extremely helpful and probably one of the reasons why I chose Smart Bargain Storage. I called around to other storage facilities that had sales representatives trying hold out on smaller storage units, only to waste my time trying to up-sale me to a bigger unit that I didn't need. Then finding out that they did have the smaller unit available. I chose Smart Bargain Storage because the call was about 5 minutes tops. I asked Brittany for the size I was looking for, price and location. She had it for me, I reserved it- all I needed to do was come in & sign the lease. She made the process quick, painless and I got all the information I needed. I especially loved that they had a lock I could keep, a loading dock and carts we could use to transfer our stuff. My husband found Bargain Storage on google and then suddenly had to go out of town for business....(how convenient). Before he was able to look into it further. I was expecting a person with a grimace face sitting behind a desk with a take it or leave attitude (the last thing I needed while trying to get two homes moved into one). To my surprise a lovely young woman greeted me with a warm inviting smile as I opened the door. She was extremely knowledgeable about the available sizes along with pricing ...off the top of her head at that! I told her what I was sort of looking for not making any sense I'm sure, but still she offered to show me some available units so I would have a better idea of what would work for us. I stopped by with the intentions of getting an idea on price, but I was made to feel so welcome I rented a unit on the spot.
