Not impressed with how they conduct business. I sold my car online and was told to take it to RightDrive on Alameda, El Paso TX for payment. RightDrive sent an email, we setup an appointment and the following day I received another text message asking to reschedule the appointment for a later date. No problem. The day before the appointment I received another text to confirm I would be at the appointment. I confirmed and then when I showed up I was met by a sales rep. He stated he had no knowledge of my car coming in. I asked for the individual that had sent the texts. He checked the car, gave me a bottle of water and stated "they" would be with me shortly. Shortly ended up being much longer than expected. At one point the sales rep came back to ask if they had contacted me to which I replied no. More wait time. Finally a young lady shows up, evidently the individual that had been texting me was not in the office on that day as well. The lady gave me an offer, which was slightly lower than the online offer. I had her call the "mystery text" lady to resolve the offer which she did. I was told to sign the Bill of Sale and my check would be ready in a day or two. No paperwork! I told her before I left the car and title I would need something in writing that I was owed the money, She acted as though it was an inconvenience but finally after waiting again, she brought a letter to me. I was never taken into an office to discuss or review the deal. It was all done in the open sales area. Seemed odd.
Once I left, I sent messages inquiring about the check which went unanswered. After calling several numbers, someone finally answered and telling me the reason I had not been contacted was that they were extremely busy, in a meeting, in with a customer, etc...
Bottom lines:
1. I did received my check.
2. I will never do business with RightDrive again.
3. Check does not clear bank until Thursday.
4. If you are selling a car, go with Give Me Your Vin. read more
