I feel like I hit the jackpot after selecting Dr. Silva out of all the Optometrists in the area we just moved to. I had a new patient appt. originally scheduled for the very end of the day, and on the evening prior to my appt. was having some concerning issues with my right eye. I took a chance on calling the office before they closed to see if I should be worried. One of her staff members offered to squeeze me in immediately when they opened the following morning instead of having me wait until my originally scheduled end of day appt. I felt so relieved. When I arrived I was treated by everyone there with such kindness and professionalism. Dr. Silva did a very thorough exam and assured me my eye would be alright. She answered every single question I had and was super patient with me. Her staff really is fantastic, too. They helped me select a new pair of frames and were genuinely invested in my care. The office is clean and spacious, and they took care to follow COVID safety guidelines. I made appointments for my teens and will be setting up one for my husband soon, too. Great experience at Right Vision Optometry. They were able to set up an appointment for me almost immediately. Over the phone, they checked my insurance and confirmed coverage, so the appointment was worry free. Everything was explained in clear and understandable terms. They checked my vision using multiple state of the art equipment as well as a super-cool "vision-case". If the doctor doesn't need to use the "vision-case" ask to see it anyway, it is quite fascinating. The doctor and her staff were very friendly. Yelp 100 2018 Challenge 38/100 Lucy and Dr. Silva as well as the other doctor currently filling in for Dr. Silva (I didn't get her name unfortunately) are the best team I have dealt with in my 13 years of paying to see. I went to Kaiser last year and had a terrible experience, so knew I would be finding a new optometrist closer to home. Thanks to yelp, i did. I went in for my appointment and came out with a new prescription for contacts and glasses (wasn't finalized and sent so i could test the contacts out first). I thought i liked everything with them (i was seeing in HD lol) but realized the day before my follow up appointment that i had pressure in my head coming from the new prescription. I called Lucy and she scheduled me for the next day to come in and get it fixed. With contacts, especially those of us with an astigmatism, it is a lot of trial and error. While my previous prescription worked well, i needed it to be just a bit sharper. I was given different trials to test and they seemed fine but again, not just right. Emailed Lucy again and she followed up via phone very quickly to confirm what would be done next. I came in to pick up the new trial today (we got it right now!) to be told she would be ordering me more trials with the exact prescription so i could try the new brand in both eyes. I found this place from yelp closest to my house, called and asked if I can bring in my 8 year old son in to get checked asap because he's been having itchy red crusty infected eyes for over a week and they said yes. I've been to several Optomotrist (including other types of Offices) and hadn't seen this before. Something so minor but very impressive. Would've love to give them 5 stars. Since I feel the selection could be wider, price range could be better & I was left a message stating my glasses were ready for pick up Yet , the phone msg didn't say they'd close early. This place is awesome!!! Levon is the best!!! Came here with my husband and newborn and he immediately greeted us with a sweet hello and told us to go ahead and put our baby down on their chair. My husband told him he accidentally bent my glasses frames and Levon told us it was no problem. He also warned us that there was a possibility of the glasses breaking which rarely happens but just to give us a warning and we said it was fine since I couldn't wear it either way. He told us to give him a few minutes and literally in less than 5 minutes he came back out and it was perfectly fixed!!! He even checked out my husband's glasses and fixed his for him too since it was slightly off as well. Levon was so friendly and helpful. He said we could come back whenever we need anything. My wife comes here and raves of how great of a service they provide so I gave it a try. One assistant that was there is very friendly and cares about here career there. The doctor did amazing and took care of my vision and helped me understand what my eyes are going through. My wife wasn't lying about this place at all. Now the reason I'm giving it a 3 star instead of a 1 star is because of the other assistant. It wouldn't be fair to give this place a single star because of her. There was a menu on the table of how u want to customize your lenses and I chose out a frame that I wanted to customize. She tried to sell me some polarized lenses but didn't know how to use the sponsored machine that helps seal the deal. I told her how I wanted my lenses to be but she kept asking me how I wanted them. Wha??? For the fourth time she asked me I had it. I walked out upset and told her to know her merchandise if she were to to sell the items to the people. I'm also in sales and it's embarrassing to know that this is happening. As I was driving out my wife said I didn't pay for the service so I came back because that's the honorable thing to do plus it's not the Dr.'s fault. I wanted to come out the car to show her I could sell the merchandise even though I don't even know what it is. Never coming here again. read more

I am really tired of dong business with this company. I bought 3 glasses from them and when they are going to make money out of you customer service is really good. What I noticed is when you go back say when there is something wrong with your glasses, cleaning, adjusting or anything that needs to get tweaked, I find myself so unwelcomed by the staff ( of course, they are not making money out of this service ). I sometimes get lectured like I am a child and makes me feel so stupid! So you guys out there, before you buy your glasses from this place, look around. You should be treated the same way even after you already bought your glasses especially when you need help. It's your hard earned money. Number 1 in my book! I happened to stumble across this place when I was turned away from another place for not having their own prescription (my current prescription is valid). I was looking to buy some contacts. I was warmly greeted by the owner and he looked at my prescription and called to check on the pricing. As I was patiently waiting I was looking at some of the glasses and sunglasses. I just recently bought a pair of regular glasses and needed some prescription sunglasses as well. After deciding on passing on the contacts (they were a bit pricier than expected as Acuvue changed their pricing) I looked at the sunglasses. I'm a big supporter of local business and this place is about two months old. The owner moved his business from Glendale after about 30 years. He is experienced and bored certified. I bought a pair of Ray Ban Clubmasters and he put prescription lenses in them for me. I only had to wait a few days which wasn't bad at all. If you are looking for sunglasses or regular glasses; prescription or not I highly recommend coming here. He is very kind and willing to negotiate a reasonable price as well. Enjoy!
