Next day, just in case, I decided to call him - and He was literally selling the car to someone else. I was shocked. First time buying from a small dealership and I will never again. I had originally purchased a…read morewarranty on the car I bought and later decided that I did not want it so I contacted the dealership and canceled it. Upon purchasing the car I was told that I had a 30 day OR 1,000 miles limited warranty. I am under the 30 day warranty and under the 1,000 miles, my car recently has had issues with the computer system so I called the dealership. When I talked to Scott (one of the managers) I politely greeted him with my name and the car that I bought and he immediately cut me off with "yep you canceled your extended warranty". I then asked about the limited warranty because as I said before they advertise a 30 day OR 1,000 miles limited warranty on cars that are 2020 or newer with less that 75,000 miles on them (which I have) and I was under both the 30 days and 1,000 miles. Scott proceeded to argue with me telling me that I only qualify for 15 days OR 500 miles because my car has more than 75,000 miles and they cant help me AFTER I so clearly told him I have 63,000 mile. He clearly didn't care to talk to me, I am assuming because he didn't get his commission after I canceled my extended warranty. After he decided to actually listen what I was saying he told me that the limited warranty only covered mechanical issues nothing with the computer system, which is fine, but I could have gotten to that conclusion without having to argue with a sales person who seems to be petty after losing a commission. I actually dealt with him when I bought the car and he told me he would greatly appreciate it if I left a review of my experience here because they are a small dealership in a big sea of dealerships. The old saying "Jack of all trades and expert of none" is how I would explain this business. Are…read morethey experts at anything, I honestly would have to say no but in the same breath I don't think they are bad at anything either. Problem is they are trying to do so many things at once under one roof, they don't really seem to excel at any of these things. I went there for auto repair and they were busy updating the cars they are selling out front, and if you want engine repair that is one department but then they also have separate auto body repair and they have separate auto sales and separate auto financing. Then you drive a couple blocks up the road and they are also selling gas for this same business name. So yeah they are trying to do absolutely everything under one brand and doing an OK job at everything but are falling far short from doing a great job at anything. If you live in SLP and want a one stop shop that does decent work this is your spot. If you are like me and looking for a higher quality or expert service I would say this may not be the place to go. They do GOOD work is the best I could say about them.

I wasn't apart of the deal so I can't give more details than that in regards to that transaction. I recently leased a 2026 MX-5 through them and overall am extremely pleased with how it turned out in the end. There was some hardball negotiation that resulted in me having to politely decline and thank them for their time. Then I received a phone call from Henry 20 minutes after pulling out the lot agreeing to exactly what I was asking for and honestly couldn't be happier with how it all turned out! Much more high-class looking and less of a mass market looking dealership than Luther Mazda. Even though I paid more at Morries for the same trim MX-5 than Luther or Walser was offering, I got the absolute dream version of the car with practically every add-on package it has (roughly $6,000 of add-ons MSRP) and it only cost me $80/month more Luther and $100/month more than Walser for a 36month 10,000mile/year lease which is an absolutely fantastic deal and if the same car were at either of the other two dealerships it's highly unlikely they would have given the same deal. Extremely pleased

Morrie's Minnetonka Mazda:…read more Morrie's Minnetonka Mazda stands out as a family spot with solid five star service and real trust built over time. My own run ins there turned out great. More than that my whole family feels the same way. They picked up that five star rating fair and square. You do not run into dealerships often that pull in repeat customers. Even better they snag loyalty across generations. Morrie's Minnetonka Mazda nailed it with us. My mom went ahead and bought a vehicle from them. So did my grandma. That says a lot about their steady quality. Their service feels trustworthy. The whole buying process comes off positive every time. I watched them go through it over the years. They seemed totally satisfied. It went smooth for them. All that built up a ton of trust in the place for me. They turned car buying into something easy. No stress at all. Just a good time for the family. The service runs top notch. The sales folks keep things reliable. That deep trust with the family sticks around. On top of that the vehicle lineup impresses me a lot. Say you need a big reliable ride for the family. Maybe an SUV such as the CX 5 or CX 90. Or go for something smaller and better on gas. Like the Mazda 3 or CX 30. They stock a wide range. It fits different needs. People have various tastes too. Every option looks sharp. They keep them in good shape. Presentation stays clear always. I plan to head straight to Morrie's Minnetonka Mazda when I shop for my ride. Their history with mom and grandma proves it. Add in the strong selection. That puts them right at the top of my list without question. If you hunt for a Mazda and want a spot you can count on. Not just for one buy. But for the long haul over years. Go with Morrie's Minnetonka Mazda. I recommend them fully. They locked in those five stars. It comes from steady top performance. Plus a real focus on keeping customers happy. That effort clearly reaches across family lines.
