We proceeded to get a 5 minute lecture on how sales people prefer to spend time with customers with a shorter buying time span (aka more profitable customer). He then got the rav4, left it out front. Said another sales person would be there soon. We waited 20 minutes and no one came. I walked inside and half the sales reps are chatting with each other. Told them to take the rav4 back in and left. Only when I said I was leaving did someone bother to be concerned with my customer experience. Never going there to buy a car. Veggie straws were tasty though.

I told him I planned to purchase a vehicle within a week and had narrowed my choices to three makes, including Subaru. After the test drive, we reviewed numbers. The Forester Hybrid in my preferred color wasn't in stock, so Sheridan quickly checked on a dealer trade. He returned with his manager, Paul, who confirmed they could bring one in from Wisconsin and presented a written out-the-door price. Paul understood I still intended to test drive a Honda and applied absolutely no pressure. I felt respected, well-informed, and confident in the offer, so I decided to move forward with Subaru without visiting Honda. This was the Saturday before Easter, and Morrie's had my new Forester ready by Monday. I left the dealership feeling completely at ease with my decision. I highly recommend Sheridan at Morrie's Minnetonka Subaru.

I was lucky enough to connect with Rick when I called, and right from the start, I knew we were in good hands. I explained our situation and what we were looking for, and as luck would have it, they had the exact vehicle my father wanted on the lot. After working out the details with Rick, we secured a fantastic price for the purchase. I emphasized to Rick that I wanted the process to be as smooth as possible for my father when he arrived to pick up the vehicle--no waiting around at the dealership. Rick assured me that the vehicle would be prepped and ready to go upon my father's arrival. He also coordinated with Tyler in finance to have all the paperwork ready. When my father arrived, he was promptly guided to finance to sign the documents, and shortly after, he was behind the wheel of his new vehicle with Rick giving him a thorough walkthrough. My father later told me that it was the fastest and smoothest car purchase he's ever experienced. I would buy another vehicle from Morries in a heartbeat. If you do, be sure to ask for Rick--he's not just a great sales associate, but a genuinely great guy. Thank you, Rick, for making this such an easy and enjoyable experience!

I purchased a Porsche Cayman R from them recently and this was one of the easiest transactions I've ever had with a car dealer before. Buying a car can be a stressful thing even under the best of circumstances, but buying one sight unseen from an out of state dealer can be a potentially perilous proposition if things don't go well. However, overall Auto Source made the experience almost pain-free from start to finish. My salesman was Brandon M. and he exhibited a high degree of professionalism and courtesy throughout the process. The car arrived exactly as it was described and with no surprises, which is exactly what you want in this type of transaction. We did a quick and relatively painless deal without any unnecessary negotiation and gamesmanship. The price was agreed fairly quickly and the deal was done. I would have liked to have made this a 5-star rating, but one small issue prevented me from doing that. I had agreed to pay a $300 "split the difference" shipping premium to get the car here as quickly as possible, but they were not able to deliver on their original commitment of "2-3 days". (The car arrived roughly 7 days after I had made payment to them.) Not a huge thing, but I had agreed to that extra amount to get the car earlier and then it didn't happen. Their solution? They offered to refund the $300 immediately when I called them expressing my disappointment. The check arrived with title and a nice handwritten thank you note a few days later. I don't understand why more dealers don't get that a little professionalism, courtesy, and honesty is all it takes to be successful in this business? It seems the folks at Auto Source, however, do. So, I'll give Brandon 5-stars and the overall experience 4-stars, for an average of 4.5.

This is a review of the experience I had with Sears Imported Autos…read more We dealt with Setnu and Finance manager Jason. I must begin by saying that I am a remote customer 1200+ miles from the dealer nor the easiest customer. Though they were quite firm on pricing, they did try their best to accommodate our budget though it was a rare vehicle. Nevertheless, they made our out-of-state purchase as an active duty military a pleasant one. First, they are extremely keen at following up; the most commendable quality of a dealership especially for an out-of-state purchase. Jason, in particular, updated us almost daily with the paperwork/loan process; he was clear about his work hours and is always available if we had any questions. He responded to all our emails/calls either immediately or shortly after finishing with his prior customer. We despise any dealerships that leaves us hanging (our #1 pet peeve) and they aced this part. Jason is also a previous military (Army) member! Secondly, they are appreciative of our assistance with titling/registration paperwork. We've purchased vehicles from 5+ different states including California, New York, Kentucky, Virginia, Colorado and are well versed in the process. Jason was knowledgeable and willing to admit when he did not know the process; this is admirable because we have dealt a dealer who said they have "15 years of experience" but really did not know anything about the registration process in our State. Sears/Jason handled my paperwork efficiently; titles mailed on-time with the rest of the registration paperwork while I'm deployed using an out-of-state address. Lastly, they communicated immediately after the vehicle was picked up by the shipper and provided us information as well as the estimated arrival date. Some dealers may tell you "we can't guarantee a ship date" and leave you hanging. We are not asking for the exact ship date; we know it can be variable (plus or minus days) depending on weather and how many vehicles the shipper is transporting. We simply want to know the approximate date so we can plan ahead. They did very well on the final part. This is by far the best out-of-state vehicle purchase experience we've had. Again, we would like to reiterate how well Jason handled the transaction. Setnu was also very communicative as well and we enjoyed working with him. Overall a great experience. We will definitely come back to purchase another car if opportunities arise. Keep up the good work Jason, Setnu, and Sears Imported!

IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR, DO NOT TAKE IT TO SEARS IN MINNETONKA. Just wanted to make sure I…read moredon't bury the lead. I took my car in to replace the passenger side tire because I had driven over a screw. The service advisor took my VIN and placed the order for my tire. He didn't look at the tires on the car but I thought "I'm sure he knows what he's doing". I get an estimate emailed to me which only stated the labor and no tire or tire price. The labor was $140 to mount one tire. I immediately called and the service advisor told me there was an error and the the labor would be "like" $70 and that they forgot to add the tire on the estimate. Odd.... So I go to pick up the car and the invoice is for over $600 and because I had checked the price of my tire online and had found many prices around $300, I knew that something was wrong. I went out to my car and there was a Pirelli tire on my car that didn't match the other three tires on the car. I asked how something like that could happen, and the service advisor said he wasn't sure. I asked that they put the correct matching tire on my car which they agreed to do. Unfortunately I had to leave the car again because they wouldn't allow me to drive the car with the mismatched tire. This decision was NOT based out of concern for my safety of the integrity of the car's 4 matic system (which I found out later that could have suffered "catastrophic failure" because of a mismatched tire). No no no.... they couldn't let me drive on the tire because it would then be used and "We're not in the business of selling used tires". i pick up the car the following day and they give me a $50 discount for my trouble. I point out that the tread differential on the rear axle was outside of the official Mercedes Benz threshold and I should have been prompted to replace the tire. They had emailed me the day before with the diagnostic for the car which included the tire tread for the rear left which read 6/32. When I brought this up, the Service advisor pulled up his computer and let me know that "No , it's at 7/32". he unfortunately didn't realize that they had sent me the diagnostic the day before and so I knew the actual number. By this time, I know that I'm straight up being lied to. I take my car and my measly $50 discount and leave vowing never to return and that I'm going to reach out to Mercedes Benz USA. When the Sr. Customer service relations at Mercedes Benz calls Sears, the person they speak to tells them that I came in with no car available to look at and simply gave them my VIN number and told them that everything was factory. My car was parked in the bay and the advisor took a picture of my VIN! when pressed on the issue by the cust relations associate as to why the tires ended up mismatched, they told her that I had requested a mismatched tire. WOW!! I've never written a yelp review before and Im only doing it now because of the lying on the part of the service department and the hope that I can save someone else from a costly/tine-consuming/dangerous situation. Mercedes Benz USA could directly say so, but they must have agreed with me because they gave me a voucher for $500 to use at any service department. I will only go to Feldman's in Bloomington and if you love your car they way I love mine, I suggest you do the same.
