Great instructors, no pressure, no rush. Informative class time of you don't know much about guns or guns safety. Great cover of the basics of shooting in the range time. I really appreciate the time they take with you and really watch your stance, grip and trigger pull. We had Ed who stood right night to you as you loaded the gun, walked around you to check out form. Went over shot group and helped you understand what could be any issues. Only thing I wish was even remotely different is I would have like me own target... after a few rounds you start losing track of who's shots are who's. We did aim at different things on the target to try to keep track but I would have liked to take mine home. And maybe have a pen/marker to mark your shot group each set. I was referred to R2B from Empire guns. The ccw class was very good and I really liked the input and views from multiple instructors. They discussed everything that a nebbie would like to know and all questions asked were welcomed. We had 20 people in class and the ages varied. I was nervous about taking the class but that was unwarranted. I would recommend this class to anyone interested in getting their ccw. I would also recommend this facility to do some practice shooting. They rent guns and safety gear, so you can try several model guns before you decide to buy. You'll feel welcome and they will accommodate all skill levels, you just need to walk in their door. read more

Recently took the CCW 16 hour class for San Bernardino County with this group. I was not sure about how it would go, had friends that took it at other places and they said it was "death by Power Point", and very dry. There is a lot of required Power Point but all the instructors did a great job of making it not dry and not reading the slides directly and having great conversations about the content on each slide. I really hate when instructors read off the slides, this was not the case here. All the instructors were great, and were extremely helpful, and gave several tips to help all in the class improve shooting. There were no issues with safety, safety was a top priority to all of them and I felt extremely comfortable on the range knowing that the instructors number one priority was safety. I cannot speak for other vendors that are approved to teach this class, all I can say is that my experience here was great, if you are in need of a CCW class, I highly recommend R2B to complete it. They offer several other classes, I am looking forward to taking more classes with them soon. read more

I attended the CCW class and it was a great and very informative experience. Instructors are very knowledgeable and are good what they do! I have attended another CCW for my AZ non resident and they are all on the same page about laws, rules of engagement etc. it was SAFE and fun experience. The instructors like to clown on each other for fun and it just makes the class go by faster. They offer all kinds of classes, from novice, intermediate and advanced. Right 2 bear has a great team of knowledgeable staff, I took the basic women's course (where I learned I needed to line up my sights) ‍ and then took the ccw course. And plan on taking the ccw fundamentals if I get my permit. Alex helped me identify what I was doing wrong with hand placement on the gun. Years ago, I was tea cupping it (cuz that's how they do it on TV) but now, after R2B I feel like a pro I know I need to get out and practice more frequently or dry fire! I was referenced by two good gentleman that own a shop in Chino called Chosen. Although I have known Alex to some extend from word on the street, my friends who recommended me emphasized how good R2B and his staff were well put. I took a course I needed to take in order to move forward with a process- and I took it with R2B. Their program/curriculum is good. But what good is a program without the right direction of the leaders. That being said, Alex and Ed are top tier instructors. They cared about safety, fundamentals, and editing our skills to a betterment. All I say is- take a course and you'll be back for more. Don't be satisfied with a course with a few tips and tricks here and there. These guys don't just take their own word because they'll literally travel on their own with their own dime across the country to get trained by other instructors. That shows growth at a personal level and not being satisfied with that "personal training." Let's be honest- being stagnant and satisfied with something can be dangerous. Awesome place to get CCW training. Instructors take their time with you to get better at pistol fundamentals. They are thorough, safe, but also very friendly. Would recommend. How it went when I went: Arrive a bit early for better parking, get checked in, etc. First 2-3 hours spent on training and doing drills. Next 30 minutes qualifying. Break. Then spend rest of time on scenarios and legal aspects but it's not boring, it's interactive and lots of laughs. read more

Kinda nervous when I first got to class. That didn't last long as Martin took the floor and started explaining the day. Great instruction on the range. Received a few pointers that really helped my accuracy. All-in-all, great day, very good instructors, and left feeling much more confident for my the CCW interview. The staff is amazing! They definitely hit on every vital point of safety measures when carrying a gun on one's person. The instructors were very thorough and covered everything we will need to know. I was impressed with the amount of patience the instructors have. I can tell they love what they do and they truly care about us doing the right thing with a ccw. My favorite part of the class is that the instructors took the time to educate each one of us in the class about how we can individually improve our skills. I learned a lot and I'm glad I chose this location for my ccw training. My whole life I have been afraid of guns. My Dad had them and when I was a kid, he held a loaded revolver to my Mom's head. I vowed I would never have one in my home. Ever. Then came 2020. I sucked it up, bit the bullet (!) and bought a 9 mil semi and a couple of shotguns. Great. Now what? I need training! Great place to learn on how to learn gun safety and learn how to shoot. I came to their entry level gun class. I am a beginner shooter when I came. The beginning class was 3 hours, the first hour was in-class presentation, the instructor were charismatic and made the class fun. I thought I was going to snooze, and it was enjoyable. Then they broke us up into group in the gun range ($17 fee), you can bring your own gun. The instructor I had was Angel, he was attentive and provided great feedback in fixing our mechanics on shooting. It was a non-judgmental environment and fun experience overall. The range was about 2 hours. The class is small, probably about 10 students to 4 instructor. I highly recommend taking it if you are learning about gun safety and getting some knowledge on shooting a gun. They also have a 8 hour ccw class. Give it a go! :) read more
