For context, I was new to the entire process of purchasing a handgun. I didn't know where to start. Before I started shopping for the appropriate handgun for home defense, I called Dale to assist me with the process and he guided me on where to begin. Right from the start, Dale was extremely helpful and provided resources via email with website links on where to purchase a firearm and sent me a link to the CA DOJ roster of certified handguns to better assist my search in choosing a compliant firearm. His very thorough email also included a study guide for the FSC exam, along with a course/price for his firearm training. Fast forward, I completed the FSC exam, purchased the firearm and took a basic handgun course at the range. Of course, he absolutely stressed the importance of safety. If that wasn't enough, you get a couple extra hours with him on the range 1-on-1 and I must say that was the icing on the cake! My wife and I did not like guns. But a few weeks ago We had a naked intruder trying to brake into our house, and we decided to prepare ourselves since this person was never captured by the police. I was up for my CCW renewal, and wasn't too keen on a large class and paper targets with no additional training. Got Dale off my local jurisdictions' approved list (he does OC and Riverside I think too) . Looked at the website training options, and decided on the advanced course to try and get a little more out of the experience.
