He helped refine my grip and taught me several drills that noticeably improved my accuracy, consistency, and confidence. Attended the Women Only Basic Pistol course today. It had been over a year since I had first handled a firearm and I wanted to feel more comfortable and knowledgeable before purchasing one of my own. The staff and instruction were amazing. I liked that it was very hands on. One of the first things we learned was how to safely clear a pistol where our instructor Yesenia walked us all through the steps individually. After the in class portion, you head to the range, and later get your course certificate. If you don't have your FSC, you can take the test for that as well. I'm very happy with the instruction I received and am looking forward to more classes and training here. read more

The staff here is amazing, I did my CCW renewal today, this is my fourth or fifth class I have taken here and I will go nowhere else. The instructor has military, and law enforcement training as well as 'training' law enforcement, also has first hand experience in a 'self defense shooting' which few or any instructors in the area can offer. The class was informative and was not just someone lecturing and putting you to sleep. While I was not excited about a full day class, in the end it was worth it. I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to have this instructor for my C.C.W. Permit. John is a real stand up guy and the staff is knowledgeable on law and techniques. Everybody at that corse left shooting way tighter groups. I started shooting 3" groups with one change he made to my shooting stance.
