This was my 2nd Renewal and Initial Qual training with R2B, and although all have been great, the latest renewal class was even better. Alex and his team are excellent in the field and in working with the novice to the experienced handgun users. The most recent experience on 3/11/26 was the best as we went through the standard re-qual steps, but then went into using the holster and drawing and shooting in a variety of scenarios simulating using our weapons in real world and at real distance shooting, building an even greater awareness of our weapon, our ability with it, but also build our confidence should we need to draw and use it in an actual situation. I just took my ccw class yesterday with these guys and let me tell you.... It's the best class I've ever took! Not only did they want to help you qualify with your firearm but they'll even let you come back and practice and work with you for FREE for a while and help you be better with your firearm and help build your confidence up and help make you a better shooter! There's a lot of gun shops and indoor shooting ranges that just make you feel stupid for wanting to get into shooting... but these guys welcome everyone in with open arms!All I've been talking about with my wife , since I got home from the class, is how she needs to take this class and get her ccw! I attended & completed the R2B June 2021 CCW Initial Course and I have to say it was a great class. Instructors Alex, Ed & Marty are all very knowledgeable, highly skilled & all have years worth of training & experience. The range time & classroom time were both very informative. From the minute I walked into the environment Alex was aware of my anxious fear about being outside my comfort zone. He extended his hand in greeting and he and Kim right away put me at ease. This May 5, 2018 class was paced for the novice, with extreme necessary emphasis on safety and responsibility that comes with handling a firearm. Once in the indoor range, Alex patiently took us through step by step without moving forward until each of us demonstrated the ability to apply the technical process involved in firing a weapon. My husband and I took a personal class with Alex. He was very patient made me feel really comfortable and was very detailed. He took his time explaining how to safely use a gun and not rushed us trough anything from beginning to end, which made me feel a bit more relax when the time came to start shooting on the range.
