Nothing. Called our original furnace installer, but never got a call back after repeated attempts. So, called Haisma, and they got someone out in a few hours. Derek was outstanding - professional, patient, thorough. He immediately diagnosed the problem (my own incompetence, frankly), fixed it, installed the Nest quickly and efficiently, then made sure everything was working properly before he left. He also didn't try to just sell us a new A/C system; we will probably need to do so sometime in the next few years, but he was clearly just interested in solving the problem rather than hard-selling us. Outstanding service, will absolutely call them the next time we need this type of work done.

What an amazing experience we've had with Grapids! From start to finish the process was wonderful…read more Todd came out within hours of calling to get a quote to upgrade our furnace and add AC to our home. Our furnace was over 20 years old functioning but a bit of a head scratcher. Additionally we needed to upgrade our electrical panel. Grapids was able to subcontract that for us too. Tyler and Eric came out the very next day (bright and early) and spent the day reconstruction our HVAC system. Prior to their arrival we decided to add a humidifier to the unit. The office was seemlessly able to add that to our work order. Todd swang back out to check in on the progress and make sure we were happy. Throughout the day several members of Grapid came through to bring supplies and check in. The stars of the show were definitely Tyler and Eric who worked until after 7pm to complete the HVAC job. They worked well together and I could overhear them as I graded papers upstairs. They treated each other with respect and humor. It was so refreshing to have work done in our home by such wonderful people. They even took the time to FaceTime with my husband who was at work to show the final product and answer all of his questions. Without hesitation I will recommend Grapids (specifically Todd, Tyler and Eric) to anyone! I came back to add we had quotes from three different companies and Grapid was under the others AND included upgrading our electrical panel with one of their subcontractors.

They added a pressure relief tank and turn the heat down on the tank. They even cleaned up the mess they didn't make! These guys were so fast and professional. I can't say enough about their level of service, and speed to take care of our issue. The price was fair I blieve given the situation. It was around $850 to fix an issue that probably would have cost us thousands had they not fixed it.

We've now soon after had an issue with our water heater and called another company and when they looked at the furnace to check it said it is incredibly broken and dangerously so. The components that are broken should have been spotted by vredevoogd when they looked at it and it has been leaking carbon monoxide into our home since. Although the person was kind I cannot recommend them for missing something so crucial and leaving us with a dangerous situation.

They typically have deals before winter starts for furnace checks/tuneups. Recently we noticed that our central air conditioning unit was making a bit of a weird noise and didn't seem like it was blowing at full capacity, so we gave them a call. I was expecting a long wait for an appointment, since the temperatures were supposed to be in the 90s that week. To my surprise, they said they could send someone out that morning within a few hours! The technician showed up well within the timeframe and did a quick assessment inside to figure out it wasn't the thermostat, then went outside and told us the issue - apparently earwigs can get into the AC unit and prevent the voltage to pass through to fully power the unit (or something... basically, earwigs ruin everything). He cleaned it off and made sure everything else was in working order, and that was it. I was expecting it to cost $200+ but it was only $80, phew! We will definitely continue to enlist the help of Jacobson's in the future (we're already talking about getting the furnace checked well before winter).
