Fast forward to my water heater install when the problems became too apparent. I had two techs out to install and they left before the hot water was working or even felt a speck of warm water. They said "the tank should heat up". I called them back when the hot water was still not working two hours later and they sent an on-call tech around 8pm. The on call tech confirmed a faulty install and said there was nothing more he could do that evening but that their office would call first thing in the morning to follow up and get someone out. I had to take another day off work and still had no call by nearly 9 AM. I had to call their office again to get a tech out to fix the improper install. The rep I spoke with was nice and I requested to talk to a supervisor about the whole ordeal as it wasn't the first instance of communication issues with them. It's been over a week and I never received a call back. I'm disappointed in the customer service to say the least.

After getting several bids, we selected Lamphear Service Company (from the Grand Rapids area) to install it. Their price was amazing! We had to wait a few months until they had it in stock again (the unit is now made by Mitsubishi/ Trane) since it was so popular. Lamphere consistently exceeded our expectations.
