Spent a couple hours with an electric bike along the beach and let me just say it was worth the money. They were so nice and made sure we were comfortable enough to go. Would recommend! read more

This was so much fun! The owners are so nice and helpful, and they know their scooters and bikes! They give you a quick crash course, ride with you to your starting point and have fun from there! Me and hubby loved it. Thanks for a great Anniversary memory!! read more

Fantastic experience! Phenomenal customer service and they provide a variety of riding options. I love that they are very communicative and flexible. I used one of their ebikes to get back and forth to capture my athlete in the run portion of the Ironman. This is my second time using Ride O'side! The first time we did the helicopter w/scooter experience. Awesome all around experience!!! read more

So much fun riding the fat scooters around Oceanside with Ride Oside! From the beach to the marina and the Top Gun house, we made our two hours count! Super safety conscious company. You're not leaving without the best instructions! Great people, great scooters! read more

This place is amazing! Ted and Crystal helped my daughter, her friend and I rent scooters for the day and it was a great experience. They were friendly, knowledgable and made sure we knew what we were doing before we took them out on the road. As a parent I was totally impressed by their focus on safety and making sure we were good to go before we took off. And the ride on these scooters is soooo cool! With the bigger tires it feels super stable, fast and fun. We will definitely do this again. read more

My husband and I had wonderful riding time riding these around the town. If you are ever in the area renting these are a must! I cannot tell you how pleasant of an experience we had renting the electric bikes here. Teddy and crystal are balls of fire (in the best way) and makes the whole Oceanside experience one worth living on a regular basis! I know I can speak for my whole party when I say we definitely will be back many more times!! An unforgettable experience to say the least. If you're in Oceanside I 12/10 recommend coming here for a fun filled day! read more

Rented an electric scooter yesterday with my family from Ride Oside and had such a blast cruising around in it. This was the first time I've ever seen these and wanted to give them a try. Teddy and his wife were so wonderful to work with during the whole rental process. Loved my experience at Ride Oside. Their electric scooters are truly unique. I have tried Pedigo and Emojo electric bikes several times but these were unique and possibly even more fun! The scooters sit a bit lower to the ground and have very wide tires making it easy to balance and not have to put your feet down even at stop signs or lights (if you have great balance like I do). The only possible downside is that the wider tires makes cornering at higher speeds a bit more difficult but if you trust the edge of the tire to grip, it will, and there's no issue. Possibly the coolest feature of these scooters (that makes them really stand out) is the built-in Bluetooth on each one! I loved cruising around Oceanside and even into Carlsbad blasting my tunes. These definitely turn heads and we got several inquiries while out and about. Highly recommend! read more

This is such a fun thing to do! Rent a scooter and scoot around Oceanside & Carlsbad. Easy to drive (once you get your balance) and FUN! Quiet battery powered but really zippy. My only issue is that there are cars on the dang roads. It would be so much nicer to ride with no cars! Crystal was very informative and clear about how to ride, where to go, what to do. The scooters are in top notch condition. And if you're totally hooked after renting, you can buy one. Really cool way to get around town. read more

Our family enjoyed our scooter rental so much. The owners made us feel like family and made sure we knew what to expect. we would 1000% rent from them again and would recommend the same for anyone visiting Oceanside! We'll be back! Thank you so much! read more

I cannot properly express the amazing time we had on the electric scooters. 7 of us were visiting a good friend from Texas. The owners are amazing. We rented for 2 hours and that was not enough time. I will be booking with them every time I come to visit. Everyone we rode by was fascinated by the scooters. Do yourself a favor and rent from them. Thank you for a great experience! read more

My girlfriend suggested we rent scooters in Oceanside and get out to enjoy the beautiful day. We found Ride O'side, booked it online, signed the waiver in a snap, and drove down 20 minutes early as requested. They were all set when we arrived. We initially rented two electric scooters for one hour but opted to get electric bikes instead. The pricing was $50 per hour for a scooter or $50 for two hours with a bike. My GF brought her helmet and I requested one. It was clean and provided for free. They even gave us a safety lock in case we wanted to stop and get lunch and a beer. They easily changed our reservation, gave us a tutorial, and guided us down to the beach. Then, it was up to us to go where we wanted. Two hours is plenty of time to cruise the boardwalk and even get lunch at the harbor. My bike started to run out of juice so we went back and Teddy immediately gave me another with a full charge. Teddy Bear and Crystal Lite are husband and wife with no other employees apparently. Both were very fun, courteous, and very appreciative of our business. We are locals but will definitely be back unless we choose to buy electric bikes of our own. read more

This is in response to CRYSTAL and TEDDY DALSEY, the owner of RIDE OSIDE. Why should we take a loss on your $3500 offer in terms of refunding us partially for two scooters that have been problematic from three weeks after purchase. Crystal, if you are sincere about finding a resolution for this, then fix our scooters? We would rather have the scooters WORKING and in reliable condition then a partial refund. You talk about being sick to your stomach? Well, what makes me sick to my stomach is we are paying on two dead horses because we put those bikes on our American Airlines credit card. We are still paying for them. Crystal said she is trying to resolve this. I can tell you she is not. She is playing the victim card when we are the actual victims in all of this. She had ignored both myself and my girlfriends request for repair and will not have any further communications with us. For her to say that she is looking for a resolution, is another lie. She is playing the victim. Your husband caused this whole thing with the meltdown you have on your surveillance video. I've never seen a grown man behave in such a bizarre and immature manner. You have shown another video on another post I made of me walking around your lot looking to see if you sold these scooters anymore (they don't) but you have not shown the video that caused this whole situation. And we are here today because of you and Teddy's treatment of myself and my girlfriend, and the unprofessional and aggressive manner in which you two did so, not to mention the defective scooters. You've made this personal when all along it should of been business. It's a lot of "OUR" money that you have ($4,800) and since you won't do the right thing and take care of business we are here. No normal person with a shred of self respect would walk away from $4,800. You turned on us like a snake! What did you expect? The batteries are both bad but they won't replace them after only 6 months. Do not purchase anything from RIDE OSIDE!! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND LEAVE YOU STRANDED LIKE THEY DID US!! read more

TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! If you are visiting Oceanside, then "Ride Oside" absolutely needs to be on your "MUST DO" list of fun things to do. It will be one of the highlights of your Oceanside Vacation!! Safety First!!! I'm a "Safety Guy" so the first thing I noticed was how safe and stable these fat-tire electric scooters are. I found it was easier and safer than riding a bicycle. The first place I went, was straight to Oceanside beach. Talk about cool... my scooter had bluetooth, so I could listen to music, and have the sun shining overhead as I cruised along the beach. I then went over to the Harbor and stopped in at the Oceanside Broiler for appetizers, after that it was over to the Downtown area. I'll definitely do this again!!! read more

Ted and Crystal helped to make this riding experience safe, fun and exciting. The scooters took a few minutes to get used to, but with Ted's direction, we were soon tooling around like we'd been riding forever. We coupled it with a helicopter tour so we rode to the airport on the 76, taking the bike path, and by the time we were there, the scooters were second nature. The helicopter ride was excellent. Great machine, wonderful views up and down the beach, and a great and knowledgeable pilot (Kurt). Following the helicopter, we had time to ride around the harbor and the strand on our own. All in all a fun, exciting evening in beautiful Oceanside. read more
