Loved my experience at Ride Oside. Their electric scooters are truly unique. I have tried Pedigo and Emojo electric bikes several times but these were unique and possibly even more fun! The scooters sit a bit lower to the ground and have very wide tires making it easy to balance and not have to put your feet down even at stop signs or lights (if you have great balance like I do). The only possible downside is that the wider tires makes cornering at higher speeds a bit more difficult but if you trust the edge of the tire to grip, it will, and there's no issue. Possibly the coolest feature of these scooters (that makes them really stand out) is the built-in Bluetooth on each one! I loved cruising around Oceanside and even into Carlsbad blasting my tunes. These definitely turn heads and we got several inquiries while out and about. Highly recommend! read more

This is such a fun thing to do! Rent a scooter and scoot around Oceanside & Carlsbad. Easy to drive (once you get your balance) and FUN! Quiet battery powered but really zippy. My only issue is that there are cars on the dang roads. It would be so much nicer to ride with no cars! Crystal was very informative and clear about how to ride, where to go, what to do. Why should we take a loss on your $3500 offer in terms of refunding us partially for two scooters that have been problematic from three weeks after purchase. Crystal, if you are sincere about finding a resolution for this, then fix our scooters? We would rather have the scooters WORKING and in reliable condition then a partial refund. You talk about being sick to your stomach? Well, what makes me sick to my stomach is we are paying on two dead horses because we put those bikes on our American Airlines credit card. We are still paying for them. Crystal said she is trying to resolve this. I can tell you she is not. She is playing the victim card when we are the actual victims in all of this. She had ignored both myself and my girlfriends request for repair and will not have any further communications with us. For her to say that she is looking for a resolution, is another lie. She is playing the victim. Your husband caused this whole thing with the meltdown you have on your surveillance video. I've never seen a grown man behave in such a bizarre and immature manner. You have shown another video on another post I made of me walking around your lot looking to see if you sold these scooters anymore (they don't) but you have not shown the video that caused this whole situation. And we are here today because of you and Teddy's treatment of myself and my girlfriend, and the unprofessional and aggressive manner in which you two did so, not to mention the defective scooters. You've made this personal when all along it should of been business. It's a lot of "OUR" money that you have ($4,800) and since you won't do the right thing and take care of business we are here. My girlfriend suggested we rent scooters in Oceanside and get out to enjoy the beautiful day. We found Ride O'side, booked it online, signed the waiver in a snap, and drove down 20 minutes early as requested. They were all set when we arrived. We initially rented two electric scooters for one hour but opted to get electric bikes instead. The pricing was $50 per hour for a scooter or $50 for two hours with a bike. My GF brought her helmet and I requested one. It was clean and provided for free. They even gave us a safety lock in case we wanted to stop and get lunch and a beer. They easily changed our reservation, gave us a tutorial, and guided us down to the beach. Then, it was up to us to go where we wanted. Two hours is plenty of time to cruise the boardwalk and even get lunch at the harbor. My bike started to run out of juice so we went back and Teddy immediately gave me another with a full charge. Teddy Bear and Crystal Lite are husband and wife with no other employees apparently. Both were very fun, courteous, and very appreciative of our business. We are locals but will definitely be back unless we choose to buy electric bikes of our own. read more

Ted and Crystal helped to make this riding experience safe, fun and exciting. The scooters took a few minutes to get used to, but with Ted's direction, we were soon tooling around like we'd been riding forever. We coupled it with a helicopter tour so we rode to the airport on the 76, taking the bike path, and by the time we were there, the scooters were second nature. The helicopter ride was excellent. Great machine, wonderful views up and down the beach, and a great and knowledgeable pilot (Kurt). Following the helicopter, we had time to ride around the harbor and the strand on our own.
