With this being less than a 10 minute walk from the beach this was so convenient when we were looking for an e-bike to rent. The owners are so friendly, funny and down to earth. We had never driven or ridden on an e-bike before but that didn't matter because the owner goes over everything you need to know in great detail and shows you all the safety rules and driving tips. He even rides down to the beach with you to make sure you have a hang of it before letting you go out on your own. We rented for an hour and got to ride all around Oceanside. It was a fun and easy way to tour the city. The prices are good and you are actually able to buy as well as rent from them. What a great experience. We reserved our bikes online and everything went seamlessly. The owners were over the top amazing. Shush a sweet couple with greatest customer service. We went overtime and they didn't even charge us. The shop is located about 2 blocks from the beach with a parking garage right across the street that only charged $5.00 for the day. The electric scooters are weight based, so you have to get weighed prior to them choosing the scooter for you. Then you sign paperwork electronically and off you go to safety training with teddy. My partner and I scootered around the strand for an hour. We ended up choosing a 2 seater because I didn't feel like driving lol. It was super fun & easy! The hubby and I took a weekend getaway and decided to explore Oceanside for the first time via electric scooter. The owners and staff of this place were very approachable and made us feel at ease for being first-timers. They had electric scooters of various sizes - not really the kind you stand on like I see around SD - but ones with seats, fat tire scooters both single and tandem, and e-bikes. We opted for the smaller scooters with seats which we rented for 2 hours for $65 each. I actually liked the scooters with the seat because I was having problems with some leg pain and so it was great not to have to put too much weight on it. We signed some waivers, were given a helmet and 10 minute safety course and then guided to The Strand, which is the Oceanside boardwalk. From there we were set free to explore and my husband and I rode up and down The Strand, on a bike trail parallel to the hwy 74, and around downtown. We had such a blast and it was a great way to explore a bit of Oceanside. I would recommend this small business to anyone looking for a fun experience and wanting to explore the city a bit. read more
