My mom was coming in town to visit. I really wanted her to experience the strand, the beautiful breeze in your hair while riding a bike. However she has not rode a bike in about 10+ years and was fearful of even riding an electric bike. So I thought hey, maybe we could rent a golf cart. Called and asked them numerous questions on numerous occasions for about six hours lol and finally decided to rent a golf cart for a couple of days. My mom and me were having such a great time in the golf cart that we rented it for four days! Jesse, the owner is just the nicest man! He went above and beyond and even told us where to safely keep our car parked for the four days since the RV park we were staying at wanted to charge us $20 a day for her car! We received really great customer service from the gentleman with a lovely accent and wears glasses (i completely forgot to ask for his name). We rented a beach house for the week in Oceanside on the strand and when we came across Beach Vibe rentals we knew a golf cart would make the trip so much fun! We all had the day off because of MLK day. We thought about all renting bikes but then you run into the issue of cost, needing a child bike seat, being able to all talk with one another while riding etc. Well we're super stoked we came across Beach Vibe Rentals. We rented their 6 seater golf cart that comes with a great audio sound system! Two hours was plenty of time to cruise down to the Oceanside pier and harbor and then down the coast to Canon Rd. Being a Top Gun fan, it was fun to drive past the house used in the movie and snap a pic. Four of us, including friend from Midwest, l high rented a 4 seater taking the Coast Highway and coastal streets to Oceanside Pier and Harbor where we had lunch, came back through Carlsbad to the outlet stores. Our family of 4 wanted to rent bikes to cruise the beach area during our visit to Carlsbad. Since they only had 3 standard bikes available, we decided to try the eBikes. None of us had tried them before and I was a little hesitant. It was a blast! Xavier was super helpful and explained how to operate them so we all felt prepared. He gave us bike locks and helmets as needed. Each bike had either a basket on front or pack on the back to secure our items. We ended up traveling a much further distance than expected since we weren't getting tired out. Riding the path along the beach was beautiful! We rented bikes for 3 hours to travel around the area easily and I can't say enough about how detailed the staff is here. Xavier helped us out so much bringing out multiple bikes allowing us to pick whichever we wanted. If you wanted a bike but didn't want the seat he was easily able to change it to your liking. He also was knowledgeable of the are let us know the locations around to visit. They provided the helmets and there was no issue with the bikes. The battery on the E-bikes lasted the entire time.
