The worst service imaginable. I am a new resident in the community and my sister-in-law, and I wanted to rent e-bikes for the afternoon, and the individual was extremely rude and unhelpful. He was rushing us to get out of the store felt very unwelcoming even asked us to shut the door on the way out. Place is awesome. Last weekend, me and my girl rented some bikes here on a nice sunny day in Laguna Beach California baby. My first time here renting bikes, because we always rent them in Huntington, since I live closer to that area. But anyways we had some ice cream and rode our bikes on the Laguna Strand. Although conveniently located right next to the hotel, we were staying at when we went inside to inquire about electric bike rentals, we found the lack of answers to our question very disappointing. I simply asked where they could recommend we ride the bikes after rental. If there were paved trails somewhere easily accessible, since we wanted to avoid busy city streets. He simply replied that he could help us with that the following day after we had booked. it deterred us from booking since we wanted to know where we could ride before we made that financial commitment. This place is great. The owner was super friendly and helpful. He is very knowledgeable of the area and got us outfitted with some great gear. Being out of town, you can be overwhelmed with where to go and find the perfect spot. This is a great local spot with knowledgeable and friendly staff. We even got paid parking there. We went to Laguna Beach Bums with the objective of renting surfboards and paddle boards. And, even though they are a business that has only been operating for a mere few weeks, they still did an excellent job at fulfilling our request. Very reasonable pricing - for 2 surf boards and a paddle-board we were pleasantly surprised with the price. This also allowed us to rent umbrellas and beach seats for similarly cheap prices. Service was also very good, Collin was helping us out and he did a great job and not only giving us the boards but also letting us know the best local surf spots with some helpful tips to go along with it.
