Ok I have quite a few words I would like to say to Kevin. He is simply one of the worst people I have ever dealt with. He is not honest, nor helpful. He does not return my calls or have any concern for his customers. I have purchased two bikes from him and I have had problems with both (not that that's his fault). I took the first electric bike in (a stromer) to have it worked on. I received a call to come pick it up and had my son go and pick it up. When he arrived, he simply told my son that he needed to talk to me because I did not pay sales tax, which he never added to my original receipt and would have gladly payed. He then just ignored my son and went off to do something else as if it was no big deal that he had my son drive an hour and a half to laguna beach just to be told that he needed me to come in. There was no discussion of this prior. My son payed for the sales tax and brought the bike home.
However the next visit is what really ticked me off. I talked with him on the phone about another bike I had purchased as well as the first one because I was having trouble with the battery. On the phone, it seemed that he would replace the battery right then and there. However when I got there, it was a different story. He said he would send it into the factory which would take a week or two. In regards to the first bike, the power was cutting out and I wanted Kevin to take a look at it. He took it for a three minute ride and said there was no problem. I had to get very cross with him after this because he could not have possibly identified the problem in three minutes. I pressed him to call the factory and he said "you can f***ing call them yourself. Is it also notable that he was saying this in front of my 13 year old son. He then responded with "you can go take if for a ride and try to break it yourself, but I have other things to do". I finally broke loose and demanded a refund and he said no. During the argument, he also started telling me that I had walked out of his store knowingly not paying sales tax, which was completely his fault since he did not charge me. He also repeatedly blamed my son for breaking the bike. He even went next door to another business and brought someone, presumably the manager, to come over and witness his rant about how I was telling him "f*** you" along with many other false accusations. He was doing this most likely to put on a show for this person and create a witness.
In conclusion Kevin is a self obsessed a$$hole who has no concern for his customers. I STRONGLY dont recommend purchasing anything from him. We have given him around $4200 and he wouldn't even bother making a phone call the the factory. He seems like a nice guy when he is selling you something, but after you make your purchase, he simply has no regard for you and would rather not deal with it. So if you have a brain, and most of you do, don't purchase anything from electric cyclery, and to you Kevin, I say F*** YOU! read more
