I really didnt have a go.to sho so when I noticed this one...I figured I'd give them a shot. I'm really glad I walked in. They were extremely friendly and because I wasn't in dire need of the fork, I just left it assuming I'd hear back in a couple of weeks which seems to be the norm. I was literally texted later in the day saying the fork was ready!! Amazing turn around and at a very fair price. I highly recommend these guys!!

I recently took the Park Tool class with Cory, and now I have a better understanding of what a bike mechanic legend is. His extensive bicycle knowledge was very apparent as soon as I saw him tinkering with bikes or my bike for that matter. I am extremely grateful that I didn't procrastinate or pass on taking the course. It was a fantastic experience and I was able to swap and upgrade parts on my bike "myself"--with Cory's support. I am honored I was able to do this with assistance from Cory. Since then, I have decided that, as long as circumstances allow, I will always take my bikes to their shop for servicing. I highly recommend both the course and their shop to anyone. You will not regret it.

OC Bike Garage is a Lifesaver!…read more I recently bought a Tesway X9 dual motor e-bike and spent two frustrating hours assembling it, only to discover a major issue: the Shimano gear shifter, a part essential to the bike's entire functionality was completely broken and inoperable right out of the box. Feeling defeated, I called OC Bike Garage, and Chris answered. He immediately understood the situation and asked me to email him a few pictures. He explained that Shimano has a great warranty and he could likely fix it, especially if they had the specific part in stock. Cory emailed me saying if I can bring it in they might even be able to get it turned around the same way as they have a Shimano that's comparable but just a different material (chrome). Long story short, I rode the bike down to the shop. Even though I didn't have an appointment, the incredible team there got me in! Cory helped me when I arrived, and they found a slightly different, compatible shifter to replace the broken one. Within just a couple of hours, the fix was done! The service didn't stop there. Since the broken shifter was the last step of assembly, I hadn't had a chance to adjust anything else. Bill went above and beyond and even helped me adjust my brake handles to ensure a perfect fit before I rode off. The entire crew at OC Bike Garage is awesome! They turned a major disappointment into a fantastic experience with their quick, professional service and genuine willingness to help a new customer. If you need any work done on your bike, especially an e-bike, this is the place to go. Great shop, amazing rates, and a great group of people! Highly recommend!

Of course, electric bikes have changed the game and really made this a full on touring experience if you want it to be that way. They also have regular beach cruisers too, if that is more your style. The path is relatively flat and paved, so it's super easy either way. We've taken the whole crew on multiple rides down to Dana Point harbor, and Doheny State Beach. You can also ride south to the San Clemente Pier (pictured). The rental prices were reasonable and not too expensive. Staff was responsive and reasonably friendly. Overall it's a very entertaining afternoon activity, especially when the weather is nice.

Bike, when I left it at Pedago in Dana Point, was working fine,less than a year old just never went up inclines at less than 4 bars on battery--- which Danny falsely claimed it was capable of at ALL battery levels). Another of Danny's lies. When I brought the bike in in April 2024 it worked ok and still looked new, it was returned to me dirty , HAD NO FUNCTIONING BRAKES,would not even slow down when I pressed the hand brakes upon the first time I rode it after his "safety/service" . COMPLETE IDIOT! Then he would not return my 2 texts nor 2 phone messages and a written letter asking him what was going on with my trike and refused to answer the phone when I called him during business hours. Save your money and possibly your own life by getting service done elsewhere. Danny, your response is another set of lies. You sabotaged my etrike in April 2024 . Your " service" that you charged me over $100 for in April 2024 could not have been done at all since the brake pads were the original pads both front and rear and worn and never replaced during ANY service you charged me for and the chain was not even oiled by YOU ever. The only Pedago store I have ever been to for service is yours in Dana Point, so stop trying to damage other Pedago dealers with your vindictive,irresponsible actions. The fact that in court you falsely claimed I rode the trike too hard is PATHETIC. I have 3 herniated discs , ride slowly on the sidewalk to avoid any jiggling and take care of all of my means of transportation . Managing to stay "in the bubble and outta the box" will determine whether you ride a long time without injury or end up F'd. But mechanical failures can happen and this is where having an expert motorcycle mechanic is essential. Let's face it...it's your ass out there and I learned firsthand that trusting Harley dealership mechanics is akin to playing Russian Roulette. When you pick your bike up after servicing and travel a few miles before returning to the dealership cuz something's wrong...then you understand what I'm saying. My ole '07 Road King Classic needed transmission work...the kind that takes time, money & patience. Getting parts can be a "dog in heat" but ya know what? Pat will make your ride safe and ready to roll without any excuses. Be patient, these folks are in great demand and you may have to wait a bit longer than you'd like but your baby will be dialed in upon completion. You want the best? Go to South County Cycles and forget the rest. Peace of mind is a valuable thing and knowing your bike is in perfect riding condition makes each mile better. Take it from a veteran biker who has seen and heard it all... South County Cycles is always busy because customers never leave. Finding an honest, knowledgeable and experienced mechanic is like finding Bigfoot riding a unicorn. Pat & son set the customer care bar so high, Harley dealerships need to charter a plane just to see it.

By far the WORST bike shop and owner I have ever had to deal with…read more The owner is rude and as a customer he told me "I am doing you a favor to repair your bike" when I'm a normal paying customer and then proceeded to hang up the phone on my face...twice and left my bike out on the street. DO NOT buy or repair bikes from this shop...trust me on this one.
