Not open when advertised. Waited 30 minutes and no one arrived. Junk scooters parked out front and place looks like a disaster area

Place smells body odor, selection was awful, Guy was an asshole. If you got bikes you don't want customers sitting on put a sign.

Once again, fast service. Competent, and saved me money, too. I highly recommend Beach City Mopeds.

I took my older Evo Springer to this shop a little over 2 years ago for several things:…read moreinstallation of a chrome rear splash guard, RNR brake rotors, and tightening the springs up on the rear suspension. Because of all the great reviews about Pat and his business, I felt like I was making a safe choice. I have three older Harleys now and I've had many over the 40 year span of owning motorcycles. I usually do all my own work as I'm fully capable and have a full rollaway toolbox filled with snap on and Mac tools. I just don't have a lift so I prefer to pay people to do it but lately it just seems like there's nothing but incompetent mechanics. Unfortunately, my experience was very different. The reason I'm writing this review now is because I recently had another terrible experience with a different so-called Harley mechanic, and it brought back the frustration I had with Pat and the work done here. I really hate leaving a negative review, especially for a business with so many five-star reviews, but I think people need to know what happened to me. Most seriously, after picking up my motorcycled riding it home, I discovered that the very next day, while riding on PCH, my front wheel began wobbling. I pulled over and discovered that the axle was so loose that I was able to tighten it by hand. There was grease all over the axle and axle nut. I grabbed the chrome cover on one side of the axle and the other chrome cover that was set-screwed onto the nut, and I was able to tighten the axle enough by hand to get the motorcycle home riding very slowly. This was not a minor issue. An improperly secured front axle can have catastrophic consequences. I was extremely fortunate that I noticed the problem before the wheel came off. I contacted Pat the following day and explained exactly what had happened. He told me he would make it right. I told him that if he made it right, I wouldn't write a negative review. Unfortunately, after that conversation, he stopped responding to my texts, wouldn't take my calls, and didn't respond to my emails, after telling me "I'm a man of my word" There was also an issue with the chrome rear splash guard. I had provided the exact same part that I had to buy twice and pictures of I wanted installed. Pat determined that it wasn't the correct part, which it was the right part. and cut approximately 1/3 of the splash guard material off, it looked like crap after this modification. I ultimately purchased the exact same part and installed it myself, using the same exact splash guard I bought off eBay. To be fair, the rotor replacement itself was fine, and the suspension work initially appeared to be OK. But the front axle issue is something I simply cannot overlook. If you have this shop RNR your wheels, I strongly recommend checking the axle yourself and verifying that everything is properly tightened and torqued to the manufacturer's specifications before riding the motorcycle. Finding an unsecured front axle after professional motorcycle service is extremely concerning. I was lucky that the problem showed itself as a wobble while I was still able to safely stop. I don't enjoy writing reviews like this, but when safety-critical work is involved, I believe customers deserve to know about experiences like mine. Based on what happened to me, I would not trust this shop to work on my E BIKE! Hey Pat when you say "I'm a man of my word" that should actually mean something not just empty words! I had to go over all his work laying on my back on the garage floor. I paid 1600 for this garbage work!! Utterly ridiculous!
