Ricott's is a pretty good place. Not stellar but good enough to keep it going. Mostly I'm going for the pizza, Something to drink, and the wings. Maybe somebody else will Chime in on the subs and other surprises: There's a lot of other things in there - Middle East fair. The good: -it arrived -order was accurate -they offered plates when asked The "eh" -I was excited for Buffalo pizza and I don't think this was it. Except it was pizza. I ordered a large cheese and pepperoni pizza for my two children, and a "chicken delight" sub for myself, which consisted of chicken, spinach, and a Swiss-American blend cheese. My girls loved the pizza, not their absolute favorite, but they asked for more. My sub was somewhat off. The chicken seemed rubbery, it was tough to bite into, but the spinach and whatever else they put on it, was amazing. I'd definitely like to try them again. read more

I ordered primarily for the Indian. Did get a pizza for the kids - I tried both sides of the menu. The pizza was OK. Thicker, not too much sauce. Decent is a word I use to define this pie. Indian. Veggie curry. Lovely. Came with the rice, either Basmati or Jasmine, that one elongates upon cooking. I also got an order of the lovely dessert, the kinda/maybe donut holes with rosewater flavoring. Average Buffalo-style pizza, but because there aren't too many options in Orchard Park, Ricotta's is probably the best in town. If you like this style and don't mind a short drive, go East Aurora because Pasquale's is superior. If you like pizza like a pizza-connoisseur likes pizza, go to Elm Street Bakery in East Aurora for real wood-fired pizza, quality ingredients, and black-coal-speckled crust. Ricotta's is oddly better than Mangia pizza, despite the "gourmet" facade of Mangia (and the fact that they are under same ownership). Avoid the mushrooms at Ricotta's, they are sliced 1/64" thin and are shriveled. The BBQ wings are legit. read more

Weird vibe in this place now. Stay away and go down the street to Cappellis or Papacenos. I got a horrible pizza. New owners for sure. This was a quick downward spiral of a once great place. When I was in there a lady was returning her sub because the turkey tasted sour. Gross. Ricotta's used to be my absolute favorite place for subs, wings, pizzas, etc. in Western New York. Their food quality and customer service used to be exceptional. They were always a little pricier than some others, but it was worth it. When the new owners took over, I started to hear a lot of complaints and comments from the community. I was optimistic that they were working out kinks, and that even though they'd probably change a few things, they wouldn't buy a thriving business just to ruin it. After about a year of consistently disappointing and worsening experiences, they've hit their lowest mark. This "pizza" slic ine I grabbed tonight was awful. I've had thicker "thin crust" pizza. Their sauce is totally different and terrible. The cheese was rubber. I think this was their death knell for me. I'm so bummed out. read more

Nothing spectacular. It's a small little pizza kitchen hidden inside a corner store. I ordered an assorted sub that came with turkey, ham and roast beef and it was okay. It's the same sub you would get from any other pizza shop except the lettuce was all yellow, the bread was hard and the tomatoes had a strange after taste. I used to love getting food here, but since new ownership it has gone down hill. We kept going back understanding there is an adjustment period. Today was the last time though I will order from there. I ordered a tuna sub and I don't even want to guess when it was made. The tuna was dry and hard, it looked like it had been sitting out for hours. The lettuce was all brown and wilted. I didn't bother to call to get my money back or a new one because just picking up the food was an ordeal. Coworkers orders weren't ready 15 min past quoted time and that's because they didn't even go in the other room to get the order from their computer. read more

Run, don't walk away from this place. I had a problem with a double order of chicken wings that I recently picked up. I was handed a box containing the wings, no plastic bag. I then carefully placed the box on my front passenger seat. and drove the short distance home. When I got to my house, to my horror, chicken wing grease had seeped out of the box onto my car's upholstery. I also had grease on my winter coat from carrying the box to my car. When I called the owner, he refused to even pay for my dry cleaning. He said that he video tapes his employees and said that they put "just the right amount of grease" in the box. If you want a bowl of chicken wing grease, this is your place. Otherwise, try somewhere else. You'll get better service and food. read more

They are always really nice workers here and every month, there's a sub of month for 5 bucks. Can't go wrong- especially when it's chicken finger month. I noticed the steak sub was a little light on the meat though. I like the pizza too, they have a small mini mart here for drinks (beer included) and snacks. Good menu. Lots of choices. read more

I've only ever ordered the vegetarian burritos here but I get them a few times a week. As a vegetarian of over Ten years going to pizzeria's and ordering tacos can be a disappointment due to the lack of veggies (lettuce,cheese and tomato). Ricotta's actually gives us veggie lovers some consistency by adding mushrooms and not the crappy iceberg lettuce. I highly recommend this place read more

We used to love Ricotta's pizzas, especially the white pizza. We haven't ordered from them in quite some time as we are trying to eat healthy. Tonight we decided to splurge and ordered our favorite white pizza. It was horrible. Seriously the worst pizza we've ever had. Although the outer rim crust was stiff (we asked for a thin crispy crust), the rest was thin & floppy. The sausage was missing. The garlic seasoning was in clumps on the surface. Other than the overwhelming garlic taste there was no other flavor. Tomatoes were minimal. This pizza bore no resemblance to the Ricotta's white we've had in the past. Although we knew ownership had changed, I guess we assumed the pizza would be the same under the new owner. After our first serving (which I didn't finish), we threw the rest of the large pizza away. I ordered $75 worth of pizza and wings yesterday during the bills game. The pizza was subpar at best, the cheese wasn't even fully melted. I ordered half of my wings medium extra crispy, and not only did they not have any sauce on them at all to make the medium, but they weren't even remotely crispy, much less extra.
