Had a fantastic experience with this place. Had to get my brake and power steering fluids flushed and get my front headlights replaced before going on a road trip. They got me in and took me to work after dropping off the car. They also called me during the repair to let me know that my serpentine belt needed replacing and when all was said and done actually SHOWED me the old belt. As someone who isn't as car savvy as others, this meant a lot to me. Really showed that they care about the customer and not to mention very reasonable prices. The whole crew was very accommodating and friendly and I will be using them again in the future. read more

I recently took my Toyota Tacoma in for a blinker that wasn't working. I had to go to work and when they heard me say I'd get an Uber, to offered to give me a ride instead. Then, because the repair turned out to be very simple, they charged me nothing. All the employees were very friendly, helpful and courteous. read more

Richard's auto is amazing. Ron is so helpful and very sweet! He knows what he's doing and is very honest about what needs to be fixed. My car is very old and I bought a new one to replace it, because I didn't want to spend the money to fix the old one. He has gone above and beyond helping me figure out where the old car should go. He's even held my car in his lot for free for 2 weeks now. I'm new to Arizona, and I didn't know where to go or who to call, but Ron and the others at Richard's Auto have been so wonderful. I will take my car here every time I need anything from here on out. I trust them completely! If you are trying to decide on a place to go, these guys are the best! read more

Richard and crew are amazing! I do not know a thing about cars and they walked me through my service and outlined necessary v unnecessary services and repairs and did all of the work for what I later found out to be a very competitive and reasonable price. These gentlemen were friendly and even called me a week after my service thanking me for my business. I absolutely trust these guys and without a doubt will be back anytime my car needs some work. I strongly recommend them to anyone who is unsure about where to go for a mechanic or needs a new guy, these guys are the best! read more

Ron and his team were all so nice. I always found that looking for a new mechanic was the hardest thing. I don't know much about cars and I know the mechanics know that. I never felt that I was being taken advantage of here. They did great work and I definitely will be coming back. Thank you Ron + team! read more

I recently bought a 1982 Ford F150 which I knew needed some work so I took it to Richard's, initially just to have the carburetor rebuilt. Ron made me aware of a few other issues with the truck and, as I have used it, a few other issues have come to light as the truck hadn't been driven much in recent years. Ron has spent lots of time diagnosing several of the problems that come with an older vehicle and has carefully repaired or replaced the damaged parts. Reasons for repair are always carefully explained and they often keep the part that was replaced to show me what was wrong with it. I will continue to service my truck here. read more

Very professional and honest place. I went there to get my car's engine oil changed. It was a hassle free experience. They checked my car thoroughly and gave me their honest opinion on which oil would be better both in terms of cost and longevity. I took their advice and now the car is running very smoothly. I would highly recommended this place. read more

Richards Auto Clinic was great! I dropped my Jeep off that had been having issues for several months. Previously another mechanic had said that he couldn't figure out why my check engine light was on and that it was something I would just have to live with. My car was at Richards for only 2 days before he called with great news. He fixed all the issues that I was having in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. Even better- after asking if he had a military discount he gave me 10% off! Definitely head to this place if you are in the area. read more

We have been using Richards for years for our 03 Land Cruiser and 06 Sequoia, and the guys at Richard's are just fantastic. They are friendly, and fast, and always tell us exactly what really needs to be done, versus what the dealer would tell you. We literally have saved thousands of dollars thanks to the honest guys at Richard's. They also have the most awesome dog ever. We can't say enough good things about these guys. read more

I can't say enough about Ron and his team at Richards Auto Clinic. Been going there with my company and personal vehicles for seven years. Trustworthy and excellent service. Lori at the front desk is very knowledgeable and helpful. Go there, you won't be disappointed! read more

I went to Richards Auto Clinic to have them take a look at a car I was considering buying. They charged $100 to make a list of some of the problems, but were unable to identify where or how many leaks oil leaks the car had, or why the check engine light was on. For an extra 60 dollars on top of the first $100, they'd do a "diagnostic" and look for why the light was on. I thought I was already hiring them to see how the car was running? Anyhow, they said they didn't know how long the car would work. The car owner and myself parted ways, and he drove off down the road. I was with my friend, who drove in that direction as well. She saw the car broken down on the side of the road two blocks away, and her diagnostic was free! read more

This folks are the best!! Let me tell you how I found this gem! Traveling to Scottsdale for family visit, recently had major repairs done on my Subaru. Upon arrival from Salt Lake my wife smelt coolant!! Next day I called my mechanic and they referred me to Tech Net for national referral. They provided two numbers some beemer place that never returned my call and Richard's Auto Clinic. Called Richard's and Lori was friendly and was way helpful, got an address and directions. Headed over, got us in rapidly. While we waited we're provided drinks and a comfortable waiting room. Their customer service is top notch!!! Lori took time to help me figure out a different auto related issue!! Very kind and thoughtful. All said and done two loose hose clamps! Thank God! Invited us to friend them on Facebook and also asked we let them know when we make it home! On top of that she let me know that if anything else happened to get the car back and they would get on it first thing Monday. Let's hope that doesn't happen but having piece of mind that there are kind and thoughtful mechanics out there is outstanding! Richard's Auto Clinic on the outside is unassuming but inside... the reception, attentiveness and genuineness is incredible! If you need a mechanic THIS IS YOUR PLACE. read more

These guys did a great job from start to finish. From the time I called and spoke to Ron to make an appointment to the time they handed me my keys I was impressed. Ron was fantastic and kept me informed as to what I could expect every step of the way. Prices were reasonable. The work was high quality and the customer service was outstanding. I will continue to take my vehicles to Richard's Auto Clinic. read more

I have 3 older vehichles that they help me maintain and keep on the road and repair when needed, and They always do top quality work. The work is done on budget and schedule and I am advised of impending problems from their regular inspections. I have the peace of mind knowing that they are looking out for me and trying to keep me off the side of the road waiting for a tow truck and major inconvenience. I have been taking my car here since I learned to drive (about 13 years now) and they have never let me down! read more

Amazing workers combined with amazing service. Trustworthy and kind, and fast service as well. I have been in Phoenix for three years with a lot of car trouble and this is the first time I took my car into a shop and was comfortable as well as not nervous at all, I trusted them 120% with my car. You've probably driven past this shop hundreds of times. But it's time to take notice and take advantage of their honest work and amazing service. Eric, Laurie and Ron are just some of the Allstars that keep this autoshop going. It's hard to find a place to service cars nowadays, but you won't have to worry here. They'll take care of you 110%- just like you're family. read more

I have been taking my vehicles to Richards for over 8 years and will continure to take my vehicles there for years to come. Ron and Mike are the most honest guys I have ever met. They will not do a repair on your car unless it is needed. Over the years I have also referred friends and co-workers to Richards. Every one of them has thanked me for telling them about Richards and they continue to take their vehicles there years later. The overall responses and my own experience is that Ron and Mike are honest guys and their rates are well below what a dealer would charge. read more

Great experience. I just started taking my car here. I started having difficulty keeping my car running on a Sunday. I took my car into them Monday morning and it was fixed by Monday afternoon. The price was very reasonable. They have a great welcoming committee in the form of their dog Roscoe. I met up with Ron who was very personable and dropped my car off with them. I received a call later that afternoon upon the completion of the repairs. At the time that I was paying for the repairs, Ron went over a few other items that he had identified as needing repaired. While he identified additional items that needed attention, there was no pressure or hyped up sense of urgency to coerce me to making additional appointments with them. However, based on the great service and reasonable prices I did book a follow up appointment with them to fix my serpentine belt as well. The service for this fix was just as good. Ron remembered myself as well as my wife which added a very welcome touch. I feel like a valued customer rather than just a paycheck. I will definitely be continuing to use this shop for my car repairs going forward. read more
