So since I moved to Arizona, there has been sun damage on the hood of my car, the roof, and the trunk. I tried to talk to someone there and ask for a quote on paint. I called a few times and they left me a message on my phone. I didn't listen to the message entirely, however, when I called, the person was hard of hearing (understandable) but then when I explained my situation and just asked for a quote he rudely explained to me what kind of paint damage happens on cars and how they are a year out because no one wants to work. I get that, however, the way he said it was inappropriate, even for someone just inquiring. I do not recommend this business to new customers at all. read more

Ahh, I forgot that I had reviewed these guys already for mechanical work. Well, I was so happy with the alignment, I came back when someone backed into the side of my Corvette that I had just bought. It didn't even have a license plate yet. I knew where to take my car. Joe takes care of mechanical work and his brother Mike takes care of the body shop side. Once again, wow. Mike took care of making arrangements for payment from the other guy's insurance and after dropping off my car, even drove me to the rental car agency. They did amazing work. The car looks great. Later I thought I found some small nicks (I love this car so I'm trying to keep it in great shape) on a hood decal that MIGHT not have been there before. I wasn't sure and asked what he thought. Since I wasn't sure I offered to pay for the replacement decals and installation. He wouldn't let me, not even half. He decided to just take care of it for free. Wow. Now I felt bad since I really wasn't 100% sure that it was from them and no matter how many times I offered to pay in full or half it didn't matter. So yes, everything from the guy backing into me turned out great. Then, months later I hit a curb pretty hard and damaged my front splitter. It's carbon fiber and it was cracked beyond repair. Well, I knew where to go. This time there was no insurance involved and once again, great work and again he was just a nice guy. And he gave me a smoking price. I am so happy with this shop I'm now trying to think of other things I need painted. I have a motorcycle helmet that I dropped and am going to bring them to clean up the scuff and my wife's fender has a pretty big ding on it. I can't recommend this shop enough. It makes you feel a bit better about this sometimes messed up world when you find an honest shop that does great work. So, guys, I'll be back! read more

If I could give this shop 10 stars, I would. I recently took my company car (Subaru Legacy) in because of a minor fender bender. The customer service was exceptional. From the sweet woman Jerry at the front desk, to Michael. Not only did they deal with the long lag time from my company insurance, they went ABOVE and BEYOND. Michael and his team not only gave me my car looking brand new... they even gave it an interior/exterior facelift. I had minor scuffs on the exterior and they buffed them out. THEN they took it upon themselves to clean my interior from top to bottom. Wow! I get to pick and choose my vehicle maintenance provider. This experience has given me every reason and more to return here. From an oil change to an auto collision. I'm a sucker for great customer service. It doesn't take much, but if you impress me... you have a customer for life. See you guys soon. THANK YOU!!! read more

My precious baby needs the best. I am picky when it comes to selecting WHO gets to touch my cars. Classic Gold Auto Center has been the only place for nearly two decades. Here's why; 1) I first delivered a car to them thinking I needed new brakes ($500) They were honest enough to say not today. ($50). 2) They are one of the few places in town that have the big 3; alignment, body and mechanical capability. 3) Their team is talented 4) The founder was an ICAR instructor- that is the organization that governs ethics for the auto body industry. Why do I have these insights, as a local insurance agent, I get to see all players and know the field. This company is consistent with their ethics and quality. You won't go wrong with this choice...love them! read more

My jeep was having issues pushing gas through to the engine. This issue could have been a variety of different things. Joe & the classic gold team took the time to look over everything and find the issue. I just got my Jeep back the other day and it is running better than it has in a long time! Couldn't be more happy with the skill, price, and quality of work I got from Classic Gold. Great people. Highly recommend them. read more

Classic Gold Auto Centre - Auto Repair Near Me - Tempe, Arizona

This is the best mechanic in Arizona. I have been doing business with Classic on 4 cars over 3 years, and have only good things to say about them. I never thought I would enjoy visiting the mechanic, but this multigenerational, family owned shop makes me want to come back! The whole team truly excels at service and always informs me of all options available. I will continue to use Classic until I no longer drive! read more

These guys have always been able to squeeze me in last minute and have consistently found the issue and repaired it quickly and cost effectively. I definitely feel well taken care of whenever a car issue arises - highly recommend! read more

Horrible service. No respect for my time, money or safety. I'd never recommend them to ANYONE. Immature, liars, childish and disrespectful. Had my car for months and didn't fix it, but kept charging me. Had to sue them to get my money back. God bless! read more

I highly recommend Classic Gold for your auto body and service needs. I had Classic Gold paint a part for my motorcycle. The paint job was fantastic and performed quicker than promised. Mike installed the part and went above and beyond to ensure a top notch service experience. He did what he said he would do within the timeframe stated. The price was extremely reasonable. Definitely check them out! read more

They have been fixing my cars for twenty years. Always good service and a quality job. Definitely recommend them.

Michael and Joseph, brother owners, do a great job. They've worked on our Ford Ranger and Kia Sportage. They're knowledgeable, professional and trustworthy. We highly recommend this shop! read more

My truck was damaged by a local car wash and they had me go to Classic Gold Auto to repair. I'm so glad because Mike was very professional and accommodating. They had to removed 3 pieces of my front end to fix and now it looks brand new. I couldn't be happier. Everyone at Classic Gold was friendly as well. I will definitely use them for future car repairs, both mechanical and body work in the future. read more

Did a little bit of damage to my car and was pointed here by Xtreme Motorsports down the street since Xtreme doesn't work with insurance companies. From now on, I will be bringing my car to Classic for regular maintenance and body work. Corvette owners, I recommend at giving this shop a call as they always have several Vettes of all eras in their (clean) garage. I had to have a couple of body panels painted, two wheels replaced, and some suspension repairs. Luckily, Geico covered me with a rental car while the work was getting done. Classic called me up and said my car was ready a week or so later, so I returned the rental and went to pick up my car. To my surprise, they ordered and installed THE WRONG WHEELS. Although extremely frustrated, I left the shop as I had to go to work and didn't have a rental. As the day progressed, I noticed that there was also a rubbing sound coming from the bearings and I was starting to become furious. I had to call the shop and tell them I was not happy. I spoke with Fran and she stayed on the phone with me for like 20 minutes while I vented all my concerns, bless her soul. After I unleashed hell, she said "Listen, I've been in the business for 20 years and customer service is my number one goal. We WILL make this right for you, Faraaz". She had me bring my car back that same day for them to take a look at the wrong wheels their supplier ordered. I was greeted by the mechanic who worked on my car, Michael. He apologized profusely as if he put the wrong order in himself, and then proceeded to reassure me that Classic would take care of me and that I should not worry about anything. I was happy about this, although still pretty pissed off that I didn't have a rental for while they fix this mistake. While I waited for the new parts to come in, I brought my car back several times to fix a few smaller issues. EVERY SINGLE TIME I brought my car back, Michael put down his tools, walked out of the garage and greeted me personally. THIS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE, AUTO SHOPS OF TEMPE, TAKE NOTES. Michael has set the standard for me as far as auto mechanics go. I even learned that all of the employees are one small family--Fran I believe is the mom, her husband (dunno his name) is very intimidating but still friendly and fair, and Michael's brother (forgot his name, too), although probably the quietest of the bunch, was very knowledgeable about my car in particular. He said he even owned a few in his lifetime. Anyways, they called me the other day and said the parts came in and fixed it next day. They even found another issue that required a replacement part. After I told them that I'd be really inconvenienced with not having a car for two days in a row, they rushed the part for me and FIXED IT SAME DAY INSTEAD. Right on. So Classic, you DID make it right for me, and I thank you for that. So sorry that I had to be "that guy", but I have a lot of pride in my car and I just need things to be perfect. That being said, you have earned my repeat business. I will give you a call in a few weeks to do some rotors and fix anything else I manage to break. Thanks again. read more

Very professional, great quality work and completed it within the timeframe given. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend using them for any paint that needs redone on your car! They even had a loaner available which was super helpful and saved me some $ read more

After reading all the reviews on here I'm glad that I chose Classic Gold and would not hesitate to recommend them. I needed to have my front bumper replaced due to a minor accident on the freeway. Not only did they have the lowest quote out of all the shops that I went to but Mike was a very personable guy and was honest as to what the costs would be. Two days later I came back to pick up the vehicle and the front bumper looks as good as new. I also didn't realize how much wear and tear my old bumper had encountered so it was probably a good idea to get the bumper replaced anyway. The customer service here was excellent. The ladies at the desk were helpful and had no issues sorting out a rental car for me while my vehicle was at the shop. I also had no idea that they also do regular car maintenance including oil changes so I'll probably come back here for that. read more

Five stars are not enough to share how awesome this business is. I picked up my car yesterday after it's latest damage from a distracted driver. All I can say is wow! Customer service is unbelievable, the staff are all friendly and professional, the repair job was perfect, they had even detailed my car for me before I picked it up. Once again you have exceeded my expectations. Thank you, Tricia Manara read more

I was told several times by another auto repair shop that my Honda CRV needed both front and rear struts to the tune of almost $2,000. I had Joe give me an estimate for the same work sight unseen which was $500 cheaper, however he questioned whether the work was necessary. We took the car in, he inspected it and said while he`d love to make the profit, the struts were fine and didn't need replacement. This is not the first time that Joe and Michael have treated me and my family right. They are honest and genuinely good people. You can trust the folks at Classic Gold. read more

Took my SUV here for body work after having been in a rear end accident. Best customer service ever. Even though it was only the rear end that needed work, they inspected the entire car and found a couple of other serious issues on the front end that needed to be addressed. They were super nice from beginning to end, kept me updated throughout the process. Even though there was some miscommunication between the insurance agency, myself and Classic Gold, they made everything super smooth. Car was returned super clean. Will definitely be coming back for any mechanical work as well as general maintence and up keep! Thank you!! read more

Besides all of that , when I got my vehicle back it looked better than when it rolled out of the factory. They even helped me out with a loaner for a day. This company should be everyones go to for quality work and friendly service. Im giving them 5 stars which is hard to believe because I paid full price but they earned the okd fashioned way. read more

Excellent and helping people here! Will continue coming here and recommend to my friends!!

Classic Gold is the best! I went in with an emergency, ended up with a great rental car rate, and had my car by end of business next day. They quoted me a fair price for the work, and any time I've taken my car in, they are 100% honest. Truly they are a pleasure to deal with, and I recommend them any time I can. read more

I took my car to Classic Gold after they were recommended by several members of my Corvette club. After they "fixed" my car I had to bring it back to them three times because it was overheating. Once they finally got that fixed I have found over the past two years as I've been fixing things they supposedly fixed that instead of buying new body fasteners as they were supposed to they kept and used the old ones that had been part of an accident that caused over $13k in damage to my car. I've also found defects in the paint, a used fan control module that was part of the fan that had been completely destroyed (this cost me $1600 total including rental car costs to fix), multiple used parts that insurance paid to have replaced were used instead of buying new parts, and my exhaust is crooked. These guys are crooked, don't care about their work, don't care about their reputation (I belong to the largest Corvette club in Arizona), and only care about getting paid even if they have to cheat the insurance company and customer to do so. I will never have my car back there, and will tell everyone who asks to stay far away. read more

We were so very happy with the service here I would have no problem recommending Classic Gold to anyone needing auto body work done. It's like it never even happened. Thanks again!! read more

Best experience with any car repair / body work establishment I have had. Bumper had been smashed, and an OEM bumper was ordered and flawlessly executed in the replacement. They washed the car and cleaned the tires to boot. Will certainly think of them for anything auto related in the future. This is truly a professional and cordial place to do business. read more

Took my Chevy cavalier there for a check engine light and a light I wasn't too sure of what it meant. Those two things are pretty much asking to be taken advantage of, but they didn't. They were very respectful and it was finished with in a couple of hours of dropping it off. I will be using them for everything incoming my car now, they have earned my trust and as paranoid as I can be at times that can be difficult. read more

I have been taking my car and truck into Fran for several years. They are both older vehicles and they have kept them running in top condition.
