I was craving panang curry and rice passions was the closest delivery option. They have so many items on the menu, it was hard to decide what to pick! We went with a few buns (chicken and beef), rice paper rolls, and panang curry with noodles. The food was packaged well. Everything had a delicious peanut sauce/taste to it. The ingredients are fresh, the serving size big, definitely another takeout option to add to your rotation.

This Thai spot near my workplace has quickly become a favorite among my coworkers and me. Their lunch combos offer incredible value, with generous portions and flavorful dishes. We're particularly fond of the Pad See Ew combo, which includes your choice of dumplings or spring rolls and can be paired with a refreshing Thai iced coffee or Thai tea for an extra dollar. The servers know us at this point so they are super friendly and know what we want the second we walk in.

Usually I would rate this place a 4/5 from my past experiences with this restaurant, however this past experience with Rice Passions has knocked it down a star. This most recent order included Drunken Noodles and Basil Fried Rice which was quite mediocre. In particular, the flavors just, weren't there. Instead the dishes tasted quite bland compared to my previous experiences. If I could make draw a comparison to my most recent experience with Rice Passions, both the food color/lack of spice and lack of color (representing more a yellowish/tan/beige hue instead a bit more multicolored and fresh) could be likened to you local late night D-list hole in the wall Chinese spot that serve yellow rice, tough meat with overly sweet sauce and chicken wings at 3AM. This wasn't the vibe that I was going for when I was looking to have some quality Thai food tonight. Hopefully this past experience is more of a one-off. I don't if it was ordering UberEats at 6:30pm on a Wednesday or just a different chef that did not put the expected love, passion, and care into the food, but this most recent experience with Rice Passions was not up to par by any means.

The Food is AMAZING! our server was spectacular. The place is so lively and warm. I had scallion pancakes with chicken fingers and fries. 10/10 definitely recommend this place

We ordered 2 meals and 2 drinks for take-out during the covid pandemic. Everything was packaged nicely and neatly! I ordered the vegetarian eggplant delight dinner with a side of jasmine rice, and my boyfriend ordered the tender beef pepper dinner (comes with rice). My meal was pretty good, although i would definitely ask for the tofu to be crispier next time, as it was a bit soggy. I ordered mild and my boyfriend ordered medium spicy; mine was a very true mild and my boyfriend (who likes spicier than me) said his was perfect. For drinks, we both ordered thai tea boba drinks and they were super yummy! The boba was a bit tough, but it was plentiful so i can't complain too much. I was torn between 3-4 stars but ultimately decided on 4.

Amazing food at an affordable price. We ordered the Tom Yum, red curry, and fried rice which were all amazing in their own way. I have never had the fried chicken with Thai food but it was a nice change. In the future I will order the meals in a traditional style just because it is what I like. Either option is good. The space is well maintained and the staff was very kind. They offer takeout and the food is made very fast, but I went on a slow day as you can see in the photo.

Food is the best I've had in the area. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with the server. When it was time to pay the bill, she demanded I pay 15% or more tip because I ordered $100 worth of food. She said, "You pay $100 worth of food but cannot give me more tip?" I thought the rule was for parties of five or more is that you pay 15% or more tip. It was my husband, me and two kids.

They always play nice, calming instrumental music. Not the fanciest place I've ever been to, but a great option for good Vietnamese food. Their beef pho broth leans a bit more on the cinnamon side and perfumes the broth with a nice, deep flavor. Bun/noodle bowls, rice plates, fresh spring rolls - you can't go wrong. Their chao tom/shrimp paste is also tasty and a nice, light protein. Best part? This place makes durian shakes. I recognize this is not what most people are into, but for those who are, they make a good one and I love not having to go far for it.

Nothing fancy, and yet everything is nothing short of outstanding. You just can't go wrong with that. The food is insanely fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The pho is rich and aromatic with perfectly cooked noodles and tender meats, and the portions are generous. Exactly what you want when you have that undeniable craving for Pho. You can really taste the authenticity in every bite. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, making it an incredible value. Whether you're a local or just passing through East Boston, New Saigon is the kind of place you'll want to come back to again and again. Highly recommended!

The sashimi surf clams and squid were not fresh ( no , it wasn't stinky or spoiled, just not fresh and therefore super chewy) , soft shell crab in the roll was bitter and dry ( either overcooked or the oil in the frier was old ) and the shrimp roll didn't taste good either. My husband said that the sesame chicken was "fine" and he also eat the vegetable lo main. Peking ravioli-- he was not crazy about but eat a couple . To be honest, i give these guys 3 starts only because when i called to say that they missed a dish i was charged for , they didn't argue and apparently knew about it , and said that it was a mistake. Another that made me weird was a tip added to my online order pick up order. I'm not sure whether it's a common practice now but i felt weird being requested to add a tip for me picking up my own order.

My bf and I ordered takeout from this place to get home to the most disappointing meal ever. 1. They forgot our main appetizer 2. The portion sizes are A JOKE. SEE PICTURES. The sushi roll sizes are 4 meager pieces PER ROLL even though their special rolls are $10+ like please go see the pictures it's borderline comical. 3. They gave me crab legs inside my assorted sashimi as if I was not going to notice. I PAID $20 FOR FRESH RAW FISH. See 2nd pic!!!! I called them back to try to get a resolution, I wanted a refund, the man on the phone became aggressive and said if I come back and return them the food they'll give me a refund. But we were already home and were not wasting anytime with this scammy place. Now we wasted MONEY ($50), time and we're still gonna have to cook dinner. DO NOT GO!
