R5- Roast pork and bbq pork

This place by far is my work staple. Every Friday for as long as I remember this was the to go place. The staff are super friendly and always accommodating! The food is to die for, local Cambodian dishes with roasted meats and veggies. Coffee is always a plus as well. They recently did some renovation but there isn't much seating.

First time ordering from here with a couple of friends. We ordered the S2, S3, and S6. We were all ecstatic with the freshness of the pickled carrots and radish. We even ordered a side portion which cost three dollars. The protein served inside the sandwiches were all fresh, crispy, and flavorful. The bread was flaky and soft as a traditional banh mi sandwich is. The cashier was very nice. Each sandwich came out to six dollars each, therefore the menu is not totally accurate with the prices listed. Overall, great experience it will definitely come again.

I drove by saw that the grand opening was today July 10 so I stopped to taste the cuisine. It's a good thing I stopped because the food is delicious. I ordered an S3 which is Satay Beef sandwich this year which consists of Satay Beef, cilantro garlic marinated radish, jalapeño and some kind of sauce all placed on a crunchy roll absolutely delicious‼ I also got a Thai iced tea that was made perfectly wwhat a taste excellent‼This is a great addition to lynn I will definitely frequent here, the food so far is definitely tasty, the staff were polite courteous and the restaurant is clean I Give Cafe Bayon a Solid 4 Stars

I wasn't expecting much when I stumbled upon this small Southeast Asian restaurant for lunch, but I can honestly say I was thrilled once I tasted the chicken satay banh mi sandwich I ordered. Truly blown away by how much I enjoyed the sauce. The veggies and chicken were complimented perfectly in a spicy, savory snack on a fresh flaky baguette. There's also a lot of other interesting entrees, drinks and sides on the menu I'll have to check out next time I go. Everything is very well priced and the service was great as well. Would definitely recommend visiting Cafe Bayon if you're craving bahn mi!

Banh mi is delicious. Get there early if you want the bbq pork as it sells out sometimes. Fresh pressed sugar cane juice too.

Nothing felt gimmicky, everything was thoughtfully prepared. The ambiance is outstanding. Walking in, it felt like one of the better spots I've dined in Boston proper or New York. The space has real character. Our server Lou was exceptional. First-timers at a tapas-style restaurant, and he made sure we understood the portions, guided us through choices we weren't sure about, and kept us from over-ordering. That level of attentiveness makes a difference. The food was outstanding. The broccoli alone (yes, broccoli) was a standout. The ahi tuna and rice cake were equally impressive. My martini was perfectly executed. The owner came by, introduced himself, and actually spent time with each table. That kind of engagement from ownership tells you everything about the place's standards. I'm already planning my return to work through the rest of the menu. Whether it's a full dinner or just drinks and a snack, Njord Haven is worth the trip.

The delish cocktail less (which are NOT cheap) have almost no alcohol. I'm not a big drinker, but typically one will suffice. Two is a big night out. I do hope the lovely owner does the right thing.

The service was great and our server was amazing. The ambiance was a little bar feeling with lots of wood tables which I liked. Now let's get to the food.. Pork buns: the pork was cooked perfectly and the bun was nice and soft. The sauce went well everything and it's a great starter dish. Spicy Kimchi Ramen- this consists of pork belly, pickled mushrooms, kimchi and fried garlic. The ramen was really good and had a lot of flavor with just the right amount of spice from the kimchi. Perfect for a cold day! Colonel Sanders Ramen- this had a pork broth with fried chicken and was delicious and moist. Also had corn with Vermont butter which you can taste through the bowl. This dish was the highlight for me and I'll definitely be back again. If you're in Salem, MA and are craving ramen then be sure to give this place a try.

However, the food itself wasn't spectacularly special for me to grant the fifth star. There was a good amount of fat on the pork belly, and I wasn't really a fan of the wavy noodles. It's like cheap noodles in what should be a premium dish. The flavored sodas (N/A alternatives) were a great find and a decent value on the menu. Service was friendly and quick, we stopped by with no reservations on a weekday and got seated. All in all, would be back for appetizers.

The food is spicy, delicious, and flavorful every time. Everything is fantastic and I've yet to taste a dish that I wouldn't get again. Things I've gotten: -Larb - quintessential, can't go wrong. -Thai Saap Pork Ribs Soup: SO GOOD. Sour and spicy (you can adjust the heat). It was perfect during the cold winter. The ribs were very tender and the broth was full of flavor. -Pad Thai - again, can't go wrong. -Wonton Soup - some of the best I've had. The broth was deliciously savory and so much tastier than the bland versions you get from most Chinese places. -Pad See Ew - also fantastic. -Rad Nah - appreciated that they packed the noodles separately so I could assemble the dish fresh. No soggy noodles. -Ka Prow Crispy Pork - by the time I got it home, it wasn't very crispy anymore but it didn't matter because the flavor was fantastic. -Crispy Chicken Basil - same thing, not too crispy but still delicious. Restaurant decor looks comfortable and there are a decent amount of tables inside. I haven't made the effort to eat onsite yet, but looking forward to doing that at some point because I definitely want to try their whole fish. It looks amazing!
