This place was great. Reason was, all the condiments that I needed was there. It's just if I wanted more, I'll just ask. The soft shell crab was absolutely perfect. Not too salty, not bland, just right amount of taste and flavor. The pho was GREAT. I like traveling to try the best pho in the town I travel to and this was probably close to up there. Definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants good pho.

This food here is delicious and seriously a hole-in-the-wall for Lynn! Within the Central Square area, it's certainly the best place to go fro Vietnamese food. The restaurant is not fancy and very modest inside. However, it is very spacious with ample seating. Service is also very quick, which is something I appreciate! I've been here twice, and can vouch for how diverse and varied their menu is. If you can order one thing, get the kho to (caramelized pork with rice! It was sooo good.

This place was great ! This place was recommended by a friend , she comes here every week so I had to see what the hype was about. Cute interior! Everything we ordered was delicious, hot and fresh. The chicken soup I got was so good and it was a huge portion! The spring rolls and fried egg rolls were soo yummy , everything had a fresh taste. I can't wait to go back !

Pho Minh Ky offers some very tasty eats. The food is always fresh and delivery fast. I've had the goi cuon, pho tai, and pho ga. I enjoyed everything. Some places can only do good beef pho or good chicken pho, not both, but this place gets both right. I like that they have three sizes of pho. Hoping to try the cha gio soon. I look forward to returning when I'm home.

Delicious, affordable, and quick - the trifecta! I stopped in here for an early dinner and we were served immediately. I was glad they had paper menus in addition to their phone menu (they warned us the pricing was out of date on the paper but that was fine, I just prefer it to my phone for understanding the options). We got fresh rolls (Goi Cua Chay), and I got a vermicelli dish (Bun Heo Bo Hoat Ga with beef) while my friend got a beef soup entree. His was very spicy which he was delighted by, while mine had great flavor without it being spicy - just how I like it. The whole meal came to $32, which I think is very reasonable for 2 people. I even had leftovers! I would definitely come back here, and order more of the beef plus other parts of the menu.

I ordered Kaw (pork) and Kaw (fish) to eat with steamed white rice. If you're looking for comfort food that's authentic and rich and sweet, and full of spice (black pepper) that won't have you reaching for H2O, you'll enjoy this dish. Theres the dish with the fish. And the dish with the pork. And you know what?!!?!? I picked both. It's a must have with steamed white rice. It'll balance out the RICH flavor thats in the Kaw. I also had an order of Spring Rolls. The order of Spring Rolls came with shrimp, pork and veggies inside of it - with silk creamy peanut sauce on the side. Some don't mind it but we didn't favor the way the pork was dry and textured. I've also had their Pho. The Pho is Z Bomb. Ita good for my soul on some days. And It's the only place I can find in Lynn right now that serves the best beef noodle soup aka Pho - all the other good Southeast Asian restaurants in Lynn are closed down. Overall food is cooked and made fresh every time I've gone in. Service: There are some days where they're service is really attentive and on others, not the bestest. But always friendly. And Price per Portion size, always a plus. Overall beats driving into Boston. A Curb side parking space isn't too hard to find nearby. There's also space in a lot behind the building next door. Overall I give it Four Stars.

    Crispy soft shell crabs. yumm!

From the start, the experience shines. The service was excellent: attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming without feeling overbearing. The ambiance carries a really fun New Orleans-inspired flair--lively, energetic, and unique. It sets the tone for something special. I also loved how the blind tasting pushed me out of my comfort zone--I got to try several things for the first time, which is always exciting. The standout dish for me was the kabocha squash bột chiên. The duck tongue was exceptional with the acidic crunchy carrots with a delicious and spicy fish sauce. It truly hit all five senses--tangy, sweet, spicy, savory, and full of umami. It was one of those dishes that just keeps unfolding as you eat it. A close second was the sweet coconut sticky rice with pork floss--honestly incredible. It was so good I found myself scraping and practically drinking every last bit off the plate. Another highlight was trying chilled Portuguese percebes for the first time. Super interesting texture and flavor. While the heavy black pepper lime sauce wasn't my favorite it was something that I'd definitely love to have again. Experiences like that make it easy to see why this place has received so much recognition. That said, there were a few things that held the experience back for me. The music felt a bit off--louder than expected and not quite matching the vibe--but that's something I could look past. The bigger issue was the overall seasoning across the menu. Many of the dishes leaned very salty and rich. By around courses 10-11, I started to hit real flavor fatigue. The biggest miss of the night was the shredded cabbage salad that was presented as a palate cleanser around that same point in the meal. I was genuinely excited for something bright, acidic, and refreshing to reset after all the richness--but instead, it ended up being the saltiest dish of the night, which made it feel like a missed opportunity. The fish sauce or whatever salty component was super over bearing. Dessert followed a similar pattern. While not bad by any means, the two desserts leaned quite sweet, and the final course--a salted caramel mousse--again brought a strong salty note. At that point, I was really hoping for something lighter or more refreshing to close things out. Overall, I think Nightshade is a really cool restaurant with a great vibe and a lot of creativity. I'd definitely recommend it--but personally, I'd suggest going with the 9-course tasting menu instead of the 14. A shorter format would likely keep the experience more balanced and prevent that flavor fatigue. It is also a significant investment--our experience came out to around $800 for the 3 of us--which naturally raises expectations and really the only reason I felt compelled to write such a detailed review. With just a bit more balance, especially incorporating more bright, acidic, or lighter elements throughout the experience, could match the level of creativity and become truly exceptional. NOTE: photos not in the order it was served

It has bar seating area and table dining as well. The restaurant is one of the more modern decorated Vietnamese restaurants compared to traditional mom and pop's Vietnamese restaurants that I am used to. I appreciate the vietbamese street scene mural that they have going and I appreciate their effort and attention to detail. For appetizer, we ordered the Vietnamese fish sauce fried chicken wings. It was very good! This is a must! Sadly, they didn't have the betel leaves beef/pork skewer. I will have to come back another time. For entree, I ordered pho while my husband ordered the bun cha Ha Noi, and my kids shared the rice plate with pork chop and fried egg. My pho broth was very clear, and very light in flavor. It was very reminiscent of how my mother would make her pho, very subtle flavors and with wide pho rice noodles. Long's pho I would say is more akin to Northern Vietnamese pho so if you're looking for more salty and fragrant pho, this might not be for you. I love additional pickled vinegar garlic slices that are available at each table as well. I have never seen this at any Vietnamese restaurant in MA. The bun cha Ha Noi, the was good, but I would try something other next time. The rice plate we ordered had pork chops, fried eggs, and what was supposed to be pork skin, however, the pork skin was not up to standard so the owner replaced it with grilled chicken for us. Pork chops were a little over cooked. They are still very new. I think playing some music will help with the kitchen banter. Service was friendly and fast. Food came out at a very good pace. I feel like their drinks and appetizers menu might be the place to start if you're not adventurous. I will definitely be back to try more of their dishes. See my pictures!

Flavor was good and it satisfies! Egg rolls - $1.25 each. They are small but pack great crisp and the filling is tasty. Get 4 or 5. Rice roll plate - Not sure of the price but appears to be good portions and comes with one egg roll and it has some cold cut style meats. Includes fish sauce and you can ask for it to be spicy and they give you the spiciest (but so good) red chilies! 4 banh mi's, 5 egg rolls and the rice roll plate was $45.xx.
