Hmmm...maybe a 3.5 stars...Had a bowl, and it was good! Not sure I would even call it Korean, but instead "Korean Inspired". I am a HUGE Korean food fan...will drive from south FW to Dallas for Korean. The flavors in the bowl were pretty flat, meat was good not great, kimchee little flavor (and I am a kimchee snob!)...but, it was fresh and served hot. Not sure I would go again, but would definitely recommend you try it if your close and have never had Korean food (for a glimpse of the flavors) or in the adjacent shopping area on a weekend and just wanting something different and fresh. read more

I try to venture out before I double back but I was thinking about this spot for like a week so I went back and had it again and it was still amazing. Do you like Korean food?? It's a very casual environment, with a heck of a punch on flavor. We had the pork dumplings which are crispy deep fried. Bibimbop Noodle bowl with broth. I got all the fixings you could with it, It could feed a family of 4 ...or just 1 very hungry 19yr old man child. My son ordered the Bibimbop Hot Rice Bowl with all the fixings as well. It was so much food. You also get free soup appetizers as well. I have always wanted a Korean restaurant in the area! Now we have Rice master! Many side and options to choose from!

First off, we've tried three separate times in the last few years to come to this place and it has been closed. I don't know if it's a coincidence that we kept trying during their vacation time or if it's a common thing. So we finally got to try it today and as a vegan I asked for the japchae bowl with tofu, but they had run out of tofu. If I had been by myself, I would have just left, but I had two hungry teens ready to eat. So I had to just get the japchae with all the veggie toppings. The portion size and the amount of toppings seemed kind of small, especially for the price of $13.95. And maybe that's because there was no tofu or protein on mine, but sheesh they could've at least given me more veggies. And it just did not have a great flavor. My teens got bowls with rice and chicken and they said it was just ok. We love Burning Rice and will just drive to Bedford because it really does not compare. The floor was also sticky and dirty and there's these laminated signs at each table stuck to the wall with scotch tape. Those were dirty and not appetizing to see while you're eating. read more

We went for lunch, we both ordered the hot stone bowl with beef (I dont like their chicken) they have multiple choices of meats and veggies to add to your bowl. There are 2 free soups to choose from, we didn't get either. We grabbed some teriyaki sauce, and a few others and picked a table. They bring out your food on a cart, they stone bowl is very hot. It makes the rice at the bottom crisp up and it's so good and worth they extra dollar compared to the regular bowl. We have been a few times and they staff is also very friendly. Im happy that this place is close by or I have to drive all the way up northeast of Dallas, at least an hour drive just to get Korean fix. First off, the food here is always delicious, so that should never be questioned. I have however had several bad experiences with the staff and restaurant in general. This latest trip to the Burleson location, I requested yum yum sauce for my to go order, and was told that it's self serve, and the staff directed me to the sauce bar. I thought this was odd for a Togo order, but whatever, I went to fill up two small containers with the yum yum, and it was nearly empty, squirting on my shorts and shirt. Needless to say I was a bit upset about this, and asked the staff if they could put some more yum yum in the dispenser. These people then proceed to ask how many containers of it I wanted, I said two, and they had the audacity to pull two pre-packaged containers out from under the counter. I just about lost my mind. There has been 3 occasions in the last month that I have attempted to eat at this location during their publish operating hours, and they were closed. New staff and management could help this location thrive with good food and great service, they are only fullfilling one of these requirements currently, and should be avoided until they make the changes that their business deserves. read more

If you do go for the wings, they're super sweet even if you ask them to make them spicy. Make sure you get plenty of napkins because you will get sauce all over you. Portions are a good size and the chicken is my personal favorite protein on the menu. I would eat here again because it the best Korean in the Burleson area. The deduction of the 2 stars were due to poor customer service. Not expecting much but a "thank you for dining " or a " Hi welcome to ..." would be appreciated. I think the majority of the service issues here ( cleanliness and quality and speed of service) are staff related and could be easily remedied if they hire more help. read more

It was just ok to me compared to all the other places you can eat in burleson. It felt almost like fast food quality.

Came for the kimchi burrito and was not disappointed. Very good. Haven't had one that good in a while. Miso soup was a great touch.

I love rice master so much. I love the Ramen and Boba. The customer service is excellent and all of the ingredients are fresh and delicious.

My sister and I saw this place when we were on the way to the coffee shop to study so we decided to try it out for dinner. We never say no to Korean food :P We really like this place because it allow you to build your own bibimbop. It kind of reminded us of chipotle... where you can add your choice of rice, protein, and toppings of your choice, which we found pretty cool. The also had a small bar with unlimited hot soups and dipping sauce that you could have with your meal. We tried their Hot stone bowl w/ beef, and Japchae (potato noodles) w/beef. The food was served very quickly and it tasted delicious. Highly recommend this place if you want a good and quick dinner :)) read more
