This was my first buffet experience since COVID (excluding the small salad bar at Ruby Tuesday). It was disappointing. The prices are reasonable. If you don't want to visit the buffet, you can purchase combo items to go (two items for $7.29 or three items for $8.29). There were six of us at the table. Our server brought drinks quickly and removed the first round of plates. After that she was not focused on us. So we stacked our plates. The employees were not refilling all of the food items. They ran out of soup bowls for a while. They also ran out of ketchup. Some items were okay (low mein, green beans and rice). Most items were not that quality. There were gnats coming from somewhere. We would see them flying around the table. One landed in a drink. When the server decided we were done (we weren't) she placed the bill and fortune cookies on the table. Some of us still wanted drink refills. The best part of the restaurant was the pet turtles swimming by the fountain. There are so many great restaurants in the area. I would rather support a smaller place that wouldn't forget about me.

Last health inspection they received 29 health violations. This score is totally unacceptable. Eat at your own risk.

Place is good! Loved the food selection. Clean, waited a little bit for the fish but was served in good timing.

It's a little smaller for a Chinese buffet but the food is really good and fresh and the bathrooms are always spotless.

Crab Rangoons Hot Oil Wontons Shrimp Balls General Tsao Sesame Chicken Chicken Fried Rice Orange Chicken Beef and Broccoli Pork Soup Dumplings Pickled Vegetables Favorites were...all of them. With that being said, I like to believe I have a good palate for Chinese food. If you're coming here expecting authentic Chinese food, you won't necessarily be disappointed but just know that your expectations also may not be met. However, if you're looking for upscale Chinese American food then Teddy Wongs is certainly the place to go. I came here on two different occasions - one for a friend's birthday and another for a date. In short, both were great. Both times did require reservations or at least strongly implied so. I did see one couple that seemed to have gotten turned away on a busy night, so just keep that in mind. Additionally, parking may be a bit of an issue as other reviews have noted. However, if you plan accordingly and park at a nearby lot where it's past hours and marked, then it's not an issue. That's at least how it was for me in both instances. Now, when you walk in, the space is more of a dimly lit environment. Perfect for celebrations or date nights (at least from my two visits). With reservations, we were quickly seated. I will say that we were seated quite close to another table during the date so for smaller parties, you may get to know your neighbors. Both servers in the visits were phenomenal - knowledgeable with the menu, friendly with interaction, and quick overall. Could not ask for better! Having been here twice, especially for the birthday, I'd say that I got to try a good amount of their most popular items. In terms of the dumplings, what stood out to me were the pork and crab soup dumplings, spicey wok-fired har gow, and the truffle pork soup dumplings. An appetizer that I will say was a standout was the cucumber salad. It has a good amount of spice that is well complimented by the cold temperature of the dish with a satisfying crunch. Perfect palate cleanser, especially before the dishes that come ahead. For mains, the spicy cilantro cod was a standout with just the right amount of heat. Of course, you have to get the peking duck. It comes in half or whole options. During both occasions, in parties of four and two, we got the half and it was enough. Sure, it wasn't necessarily the quality that you'd get in Beijing but it's certainly up there for a Chinese American restaurant. For dessert, we got the chocolate dumplings. It's exactly what you would imagine... melty rich chocolate contained within a dumpling wrapper. If you've ever had Din Tai Fung then it's more or less that. Lastly, in terms of drinks, I did get the Lucky Emperor at one visit. It's sweet, crisp, and tart. Great drink that I believe complimented the meal! Overall, I do recommend Teddy Wongs. The food is good but the atmosphere, vibes, and service are what really make this a worthwhile visit.

Going with "average" lunch here today…read more While we've been here a number of times, it's been nearly a year since the last visit. Some things stood out as different today: - It was desolate on a Thursday at noon, just 2 couples eating - The food is different - see below The good? Service was fast. There were 4 male workers hanging out, ready to serve us. So that was nice. Also, the app and meal came out fast. Today, two of us shared: - Fresh Spring Roll with Shrimp - Pad Key Mao with Beef There were two shrimp rolls in the order. Both were very fat - stuffed full of lettuce and cabbage mostly. Each roll had 1/2 a shrimp in it. For long rolls, I'm accustomed to two 1/2 shrimps in them. Being so fat, they were harder to eat as they sort of fell apart from the bulk of green in it. As we split our meal, they served each of the two rolls on their own plates, each with a dish of peanut sauce. So that was nice. The Pad Key Mao (Drunken Noodle) was meh. I'd rate it a 2.5 on its own. The presentation was nice but there just wasn't much flavor and the beef wasn't thin strips of sirloin. I think we'll pause Spice for a bit.
