Ordered the orange chicken lunch special, comes with white, or I chose fried rice and an egg roll. Less than $10 with tax. The chicken was super sweet virtually no spice despite being advertised as spicy. The fried rice also was flavorless and oily. Where are the eggs and obligatory peas, carrots, celery, something in that rice? Very disappointing! The best part of the meal was the egg roll which is no meal at all! read more

Will never order for delivery again. Called at 5:30 PM said 75 minutes. At 6:05 said 85 minutes. At 7:30 still no food. Called and they had excuses we told them to keep it. Called us back and wanted to know if we wanted to cancel. So sad. read more

Orange chicken + lomein. Chicken was good. They asked me if i wsnted white or dark meat, which is a first. I've never been asked that at any other place before, so that was nice! Lomein was just noodles no veggies in it. Not sure if it's because I opt to have lomein with my orange chicken instead of rice? Seafood delight - I was skeptical at first to order, but I wasn't disappointed. The shrimps were huge. It was a nice flavor. Too many water chestnuts for me. Fried rice was hard / dry. So I probably won't opt for fried rice next time. Crab Rangoon was ok. Donuts- too much sugar for me. I probably ask if they could put the sugar on the side next time I order. read more

We came here last minute on a whim. We were kind of intimidated by the reviews of "bad service". Forget all of that. You'll notice the restaurant is really clean and smells amazing when you walk in. The lady behind the counter was SUPER nice as she welcomed us. We had to wait an extra minute or two after we got there. No big deal. She made sure we got everything in our order and as we were leaving she gave my wife and I a free drink. Something she didn't have to do. We got the food home and we were immediately impressed by the portion sizes and the packaging. The rice is separate from the entree which I like so it doesn't get soggy. Being honest I wouldn't say this is the best take out I've ever had, but I would say it's the best I've had in the Fort Worth area. We got sesame chicken, orange chicken, and general tsos chicken. I've been here several times and the food has always been tasty. The broccoli and beef and the Sichuan spicy dish have been excellent every time I've had it. The fried rice is okay. Not the best I've had, but the portions are quite generous. The customer service is fine too. I've had no problems whatsoever and the woman behind the counter was kind enough to give me a free green tea drink, which was also quite tasty. The food also comes out quite quickly, which is a massive plus when you're in a rush. All in all, I've yet to have a bad experience. I would and have recommended this place to eat. Plus it's right next to kroger's so you can nab a quick bite to eat after shopping. read more

My 1st impression of the food here was not good. Place looked nice and clean, and the lunch special was a good deal, but they charge an extra $2 or so for noodle instead of fried rice, and the noodle I paid extra for was not just a little salty, it was extremely salty. I ordered the kung pao beef and I was just ok. The serving size was a bit smaller than what you would get at panda express. I was really hoping to like this place as there's not a lot of good Chinese food places in the area. I notice the management does sometimes respond to reviews so hope they take this and perhaps check their salt levels...perhaps it was just an off day, but I likely won't come back to try again. read more

This is our favorite go to for quick Chinese. They offer delivery, but we normally call in the order on the way from work and pick up at the drive thru. Most everything we have tried is pretty good. The general chicken used to be better, maybe they changed up the recipe. The last two times we ordered that dish it was on the dry side and limited vegetables. I used to steal the veggies from my husband, but now I have to order a separate vegetable dish. The price is good for the amount of food you receive. The staff is always friendly. read more

Has the management changed; my last two visits horrible. Today I ordered online and paid, I received a text indicating what time my order would be ready. It's currently 20 minutes past my pick up time and I'm still waiting! I guess I need to find a new place to order my Asian food from? Food was ok not great I had lo mein with chicken came with egg roll chicken had the texture of a limp noodle looked more like fried skin and I noticed afterwards while looking at my receipt there was a .27 service charge for I'm guessing using my credit card. read more

3.5 stars for delivery/takeout. I rounded up because they are dependable and fast and always get my order right. The food is VERY Americanized. A lot of the items that should not be sweet (Mongolian Beef and Crab Rangood) are just gross with sugar. If you like your Chinese food sweet and Americanized, this is the place for you. But if you get the actual sweet food, General Tso's and Walnut Shrimp, it's pretty good. The lo mien included free with these dishes is AWFUL. BUT: the entrée Lo Mein with the meat and veggie's is fantastic. I also like the sesame balls. The egg rolls and spring rolls are gross. read more

My boys and I like to refer to these kinds of restaurants as "Americanized" Chinese food. Not that it's a bad thing; it's like the Chinese version of Tex-Mex. I mean, let's be honest. Your not gunna find this stuff on the streets of Beijing, right? Now, that having been established, Chef Chen's is one of the best. Perfectly salty, savory, sweet, sour. Ordered food for the whole family, including three chicken nuggets. I got one kids meal, the recipe attached only had one meal. The price and oder number were different than what we received. Really good food. I order takeout and delivery here quite often. Their food is fresh, flavorful and served quickly. The owner is very nice. If you order more than 30 bucks you get a free two liter of cola or crab rangoons. Their sauce is pretty bold and sticks to the food, yet is not runny. The meats are marinated well so do jot dry out. This place is so good! They are always very polite and will make your food just how you want it! Best quality on both chicken and beef in the area so no gross pieces or tuff cuts of meat. I love their pot stickers and the sauce it comes with. The only thing I haven't liked here is the fried rice and egg rolls. Everything else has been 5 Stars. Do not waste your time ordering from here. We waited an hour for delivery, which we were like okay. But then we realized our order was wrong. I called the manager and he stated he wouldn't change anything because they were too "busy". I was extremely furious at his disservice to not even try to fix it. On top of this, we figured since we had already paid $50 for the food we would attempt to eat it. They use fake chicken and beef in their cooking. It's seriously disgusting, it's as if you're chewing pure fat in your mouth. The egg rolls are ridiculously hard and un-flavorable. Save yourself the time and money. We have been ordering from them for the longest time but this will be the last time when we go to order online the cheese wontons are not on the menu but when I get to the location he points at the cheese wonton picture and says they are crab Rangoon's. This is our god knows how many times we have ordered from this place and the food is good but the service is horrible there is a panda just down the street at least they have pictures that match their pictures on the wall this is just bad business. If I walked into a barber shop and pointed at something on the wall I'd expect to get it not whatever they changed it to. When I talked to he owner he saw no problem with having pictures of food on his wall he didn't serve. So if he has no issues with that I have no issues with posting the review and in full disclosure I showed him this review before submitting it. Update the food has gotten near inedible I don't know if they switched chefs or changed their ingredients but it was just bad. Rice was undercooked chicken was over cooked glad they were not reversed because instead of a bad dinner it could have been a bad 3-4 days. Never ever again read more

My daughter and I were craving Chinese but I wanted something besides Panda Express so we tried Chen's Wok because it's close to our home. We were the only customers however I wasn't alarmed because I saw an employee with a few delivery orders walking out as we were reviewing the menu. I decided on the spicy Hunan with chicken and fried rice. My daughter ordered chicken lo mein. The food smelled wonderful however it was just ok. I had to add rooster sauce to my food in order to achieve spice as it wasn't spicy at all! My daughter commented that her food was just ok as well. The portions are decent but I just wish that it had more seasoning. I don't think that we'll return. read more

Exceptional meal! I love Chinese food but I have been hard pressed to find some in this area that is well seasoned and flavorful. I have finally found it! The spicy pepper chicken has onions and jalapeños in a brown sauce had just enough spice to let you know there were jalapeños but not too much that you could not enjoy.
