Picked up food here once because I was looking for Chinese food & they were the closest one still open @ 9:30 at night. Food was really good! I ordered Kung pao chicken & chicken chow mein. I found out at that time that they deliver so today I had 2 lunch specials delivered. I ordered through the yelp app so ordering was easy & quick. Estimated delivery time was 45-60 mins but food was here in 35! Food was delicious & they definitely provide you with enough! The lunch specials are very good deals I ordered an orange chicken special with fried rice & a chicken chow mein special with fried rice. Both came with soup, egg roll, & wonton! They are generous with the meat & you can tell everything was fresh! Delivery guy was nice! Will definitely order from here again! read more

I wouldn't recommend eating here since the owners use the dining space as a makeshift living room for their toddlers. It smelled like dirty diapers while there. I found this restaurant when i lived in the area a few years back. I've been coming back ever since. They are family owned and operated and very friendly. I commend the mama raising her kids while at work. She has it like that and because I'm a mother, I totally understand the work. They allowed me to special request my order and now that's all I've ordered from there and it's always good. Now there was one time I visited and the owner (main cook) was not there and the food was not appealing at all but I didn't review that visit. I haven't had that problem since then. It took 90 minutes for delivery (they are 3 miles from where we live) and when food was finally delivered it was barely fit for a dogs consumption - everything we ordered was absolutely DISGUSTING! Minimal prep with a remote hint of flavor to what appears to be quickly thrown together scraps. They're "most popular dishes" like teriyaki chicken and crispy walnut shrimp arrived looking nothing like the photos on their menu and if those were their most popular items God only knows how they remain in business! read more

The other day I found a take out menu from this place at my door. So I decided to try it with my boyfriend. We ordered around lunch time so we got to have the great lunch specials. Who knew I could get some much good for so cheap? I got the Shrimp Chow Mein, and my boyfriend got the Mongolian Beef. Each order came with a wonton, soup of the day, and a egg roll. The servings were big too and come with the most delicious fried (or steamed) rice. All of this for $6.99! We also got a appetizer of dumplings. 10 of them for only $6.99. My boyfriend can only describe this place as being "The Sh*t" Did I mention that they deliver for orders over 10 dollars?! They just got some new regular customers. I always come here for the lunch specials (3 flavor Kung pao).. It comes with soup,egg roll and a wonton I do however always order the hot and sour soup instead of the egg drop they're both really good. This is the newest Chinese joint around town. We got their menu in the mail with coupons. FINALLY a Chinese place that DELIVERS to my area (and for FREE). In fact their delivery area spans through a very large area including all of Carson, Gardena, part of Long Beach, and Torrance. And they're delivery is fast; they said 40 minutes and they were here in 39. :) On to the food. Sweet and sour pork pieces were on the small side, but were crispy and very tasty. The shrimp and lobster sauce was fresh and also tasty...not salty at all. But it tasted more like shrimp and pea pods than shrimp and lobster sauce. The fried rice that they serve when you order a lunch plate is plain, but absolutely delicious! I love the type of Chinese rice they use. Wonton soup was okay. The broth was better than the actual wontons. It will never hold a candle to Hong Kong Gardens Wonton soup. But, the egg flour soup, it KILLED the wonton soup. It was the most delicious egg flour soup I have ever had. :) The food here is fine by me. Wasnt life changing, but definitely good enough to order on those days when I just want to order in. I ordered from Rice Kitchen, for delivery, after getting a menu in the mail. I haven't had much luck finding good Chinese for delivery in my area, so I ordered a variety of dishes to sample. The results were quite good. First of all, they have on-line ordering that works quite well. The food was very good. General Tao's chicken isn't easy to make well, and theirs was nice, with a crunchy outside but not overly breaded. The BBQ pork fried rice was also very good, as were the dumplings. I wasn't as impressed with the Singapore Rice Noodles, which were a little bland, or the Won Ton soup, because the won tons themselves lacked texture. We'll definitely order from Rice Kitchen again. This my absolute favorite place to order Chinese food from. I always order using the Eat24 app, which keeps me informed and in the know about the status of my order and even sends me alerts if the restaurant becomes busy and texts me so I know if i expect to wait a bit longer for my deliveey to arrive. Typically, I always order the orange chicken, cream cheese wontons, mongolian beef (which, by the way, is FANTASTIC, BEST IVE EVER TRIED anywhere else!),wonton soup, potstickers, and shrimp fried rice, and eggplant and tofu. Whoever happens to deliver and put my order together always gets it 100 percent completely right. They are attentive to everything, even if I specify that i need plates and plasticware they provide it as well! And finally, they always have a coupon for free veggie egg rolls with your order usually. I am very loyal to this restaurant, and care about it, and would hope that you visit or order from them for your next night of chinese food! Dang !!! Happily Surprise by this Diamond in the rough... I know my chinese food and this was really good. You can tell how good the cook or the resturant by how they prep/cook their vegetables. I ordered for the first time @ this place ( which is down the street from my work) last night and was surprise @ the quality and care of the food. You don't normally find this kind quality chinese food in this area. But, this place is definitely, on par with the chinese resturants I routinely haunt... Their Baby Bok Choy with Black Mushroon is fresh and very flavorfull... Their Chicken chow fun is also good with an addition of alittle hot sauce. Other notable plates are their General Tao chicken and 5 Star Kung Pao combo... I strongly suggest this place for anyone wanting take out. Or work food... You won't any better quality resturant in a 1 to 2 mile radius... I will update as I try more of their food... P.s. The food is ok and not that pricey. My favorite is bbq pork but sometimes it's lack of sauce. It's a hit and miss situation. Curry beef is pretty good but it could be better if the curry is thicker. Pork fried rice is on the ok side. The pork doesn't taste like a real pork. I wish they put a real pork meat. This place deserve a 3 stars read more

The food here is really good, but it is so cluttered in that restaurant. I always get my food to go, I never eat in the restaurant. They use the front part of the restaurant as a nursery for their kids and a storage space, instead of a place for their customers to sit. I too found the menu dropped at my home, so burnt on the usual delivery options I thought OK lets try Chinese. Order Beef and Broccoli, Garlic Shrimp, Orange Chicken, and chow mein combo which had shrimp chicken beef. First I will say that delivery was fast, as in how the heck he get here that fast! Food, Very good, the beef in the dishes was actually lean and tender not like most beef you get from Chinese take outs, the Shrimp was VERY fresh tasting and the sauce on the dish was Fantastic. While the kids loved the Orange Chicken its hard for me to rate as its not my favorite dish. Last the Lo mein was, well, Lo Mein, I mean can you really screw up a noodle but to be fair the portion was great and the combo actually was a combo, meaning you could actually find a fair share of each ingredient . Over all I would say Very Good, a little pricey but I guess thats because we ordered individual servings and now that I think about it I did eat Chinese left overs for 2 1/2 days.
