Firstly the positives. The service was good and the location is great. The food is average at best. We order breakfast for two adults and two kids. The kids got pancakes with blueberry compote on the side. Nothing to write home about. Take like pancakes out of the box with sprinkle of powdered sugar. The ham and cheese omelette was not done all the way with a rather watery center. The order of biscuits and gravy was extremely salty and the biscuits are clearly store bought. We were led astray but the disproportionate reviews on Yelp. This place did not live upto the reviews. read more

This place is great! We had mushroom tartine and shrimp & grits. The mushroom tartine was very flavorful. We enjoyed it so much we recreated it back home after our vacation. The shrimp was seasoned well with creamy, smooth grits. Our drinks were very good too. Their location has a great street view and the services was outstanding. read more

We ate outside with our dogs. Great table for it! They brought out ice water for us and a dish for the dogs. The cheddar biscuit with the ham purée and the splash of ham was the best menu item that we tried. The calamari was greasy and limp. The ceviche was presented with fried rice crackers, but was a bit of a taste fail, with a dominating citrus/orange/tangerine flavor that detracted from the dish. The snapper, subbing for the sea bass was delicious. Great bar with great hard-to-find bourbons like Castle & Key. Beer list is respectable too. Service was five star. So was the bar. Hit and miss dishes, plus $16 parking fee, were a star down. I'd eat here again. Just hope that the kitchen team pays more attention to the basics in the dishes coming out. read more

We stopped at Rhett on our way through Savannah. We walked in close to 2pm close and appreciated that the staff still treated us well and ensured we were comfortable, well fed and well served. Do yourself a favor and do NOT come here for a holiday type brunch. We came for Mother's Day and the $100 for two adults equaled hotel style food. Think bare minimum. Eggs that tasted microwaved, potatoes, waffle, some cold quiche that was kept at room temp some fruit. You should be ashamed for the amount you are charging people for buffet brunch. We would've much rather paid for food off the regular menu if that was even an option. Oh and don't forget they acted annoyed when we asked for spoons for our yogurt and grits. Stayed at the Alita Hotel so came down for breakfast. It's a nice ambiance - kind of warehouse style. Stood for quite awhile without being greeted. Finally sat at the bar and staff there was friendly. Loaded grits were okay - meh. Two egg meal was also fine, but at $17, wasn't really worth it. Breakfast potatoes were meh. Unable to make us lattes so had regular coffee. It was raining the morning we were there so eating at Rhett made sense and would recommend if you're in the hotel and don't have time to venture out. It may b 4 stars if we'd had a little better experience. However, not sure we'd eat here again if we returned to the area. Would probably try another option. read more

Divine. The food was very tasty. The ambiance is great. They had live music and I thought the music was too loud. I came here with a group of 5 on a Thursday evening and it was not too packed. The fried chicken was very good. My colleagues enjoyed the special which included red fish. The octopus app was SOOO GOOD. I LOVE ME SOME OCTOPUS AND IT WAS NOT CHEWY. We ordered the calamari (so juicy and fresh) and the biscuits with ham. My colleague is from this area and she'd had the shrimp n grits a while back and then they took it off the menu, but now they have it again. 100% would recommend this place. We went in about an hour before close on a Sunday night. The staff was extremely attentive and accommodating despite us coming in shortly before close. The food was excellent. We got the crab risotto and mussels, and both were excellent. For dessert we had the beignets which were fresh and wonderful. We sat at the bar where the bartender was very patient with us. The ambiance was great with nice low lighting. Overall great spot. read more

Service was outstanding! We shared a Caesar salad (more than enough for 2) that was excellent! Shared the steak frites, ordered medium rare. It came rare but we were fine with that. I didn't love the sauce on top but I'm not a "saucy" gal. If you are, you'd love. Frites were perfect and the garlic aioli was too. Prices were very high but we expected that - no complaints. On our last day In Savannah we came here for brunch. Upon entering the decor was lovely- light softly came in from the windows, the bar area was attractive with the bartender busy at work. We were quickly seated. The space is huge- great for groups. We shared the pancakes which came with peaches and a delicious butter and bacon egg and cheese on a croissant with a side of potatoes. Everything was delicious and great portions. It's cool that you can see in to the kitchen but don't really hear the noise from it. It's attached to a hotel on a strip near the water with other shops and things to do. We'd seen it the night before and I think if not for the location I would've never found it. It was a bit difficult to find this place when entering from the hotel side of the building. Once we found it, an outdoor entrance on the back side is the way to go. The Benedict was amazing! We happened upon this place when we were in Savannah for a concert. I was so hungry I didn't get pictures but I had the French toast which was so good and fulling. My best friend has the shrimp and grits but there's has a tomato base but she really enjoyed it. We sat outside and our server was very attentive.
