Great experience! Glad I read the reviews prior to coming so I knew what to expect. Instead of looking for Rhett, I looked for The Alida Hotel and the valet parking area. We were seated and greeted quickly. Our server, Creed, was great! Food came out fresh and within 10 minutes. The 3 adults all ordered the Rhett Burger and it was GREAT! Get the Norfolk sauce if you like BigMac Sauce. For our toddler, we ordered chicken fingers which she enjoyed. Since it's the holidays, we went to walk River Street to look at the Christmas decorations which was a nice plus. Husband was able to validate the parking easily and have the car waiting for us. We stopped here on our way back to Atlanta from Hilton Head, I'd definitely want to come back the next time we're in Savannah. read more

Rhett is hands down one of my favorite places to eat in Savannah! Bonus, they serve brunch everyday from 7 AM until 2 PM! So whether you're headed there for brunch, lunch or dinner, you will not be disappointed. They also accept reservations which is great for larger parties - especially bachelorette/bachelor parties, larger families, etc. read more

Wonderful dinner! The oysters, smash burgers, and special grouper and desserts were amazing! Outstanding service, thanks Adrian!

Our visit started a little rocky. The hostess attempted to sit us in the empty, unattended bar side of the restaurant even though there were tables available with the rest of the melanin deficient customers. EDITED I appreciate the response I received, however, I visited on a Wednesday (corrected as I originally said it was a Monday) :). Fortunately our waitress and the manager (I believe? Young gentlemen with a nice accent who spoke Spanish) more than made up it for it. I requested an Irish coffee and not only did they make it happen (not on the menu) the presentation was perfect. And the Croque Scarlet was AMAZING. I would recommend sharing it as it is very well served. The pulled pork had so much flavor. I could eat that everyday read more

Great experience with Devi! Great service and appreciated the extra touches to make my birthday special.

First of all Ximena and Tonin the waiters compliment the entire menu perfectly. Not only do they go above and beyond with their service, they make you feel like family. The food is 10/10 and the staff and employees are too! 15/10 recommend! read more

We went there on Saturday for brunch, there was a 15 minute wait so we put our name on the list and went to the bar to wait. There was an empty table by the bar we asked if we can sit there and they said yes, but we couldn't order bc that table was reserved. The bar area was nicely decorated and people were sitting around the bar. After a few minutes they said we can just keep the table and order there so that worked out. Our waitress was very nice and friendly, and the food came out fairly quickly. The sauce for the burger was really good. The croissant and the omelette were very good and the pancakes too. The drinks were very tasty. read more

Do yourself a favor and do NOT come here for a holiday type brunch. We came for Mother's Day and the $100 for two adults equaled hotel style food. Think bare minimum. Eggs that tasted microwaved, potatoes, waffle, some cold quiche that was kept at room temp some fruit. You should be ashamed for the amount you are charging people for buffet brunch. We would've much rather paid for food off the regular menu if that was even an option. Oh and don't forget they acted annoyed when we asked for spoons for our yogurt and grits. Don't waste your money here. Totally disappointed and won't be back. read more

We went her for my bday dinner. This place was great. There wasn't much parking around the area. When we arrive the staff was friendly when we arrived we entered through another entrance and one of the staff members walked us down to the restaurant which was very nice. The restaurant was very clean. The staff was friendly. The food was great. I had a taste for scallop La and oysters and this place had them both. The steak was cooked to perfection. The calamari was well seasoned. This was a great place to have a great bday dinner. When I'm back in Savannah I will be checking this place out again. read more

100% would recommend this place. We went in about an hour before close on a Sunday night. The staff was extremely attentive and accommodating despite us coming in shortly before close. The food was excellent. We got the crab risotto and mussels, and both were excellent. For dessert we had the beignets which were fresh and wonderful. We sat at the bar where the bartender was very patient with us. The ambiance was great with nice low lighting. Overall great spot. read more

Devi was a great waitress. She was one of the nicest person my wife and I ever met and it also helped that the food was good as well

Anyone who has not been in Savannah for a while, and that includes myself, would not be familiar with the revitalized section of River Street that Rhett is a part of. Before getting into the specifics of Rhett I think it is worth a general comment that it is great to see this happening to the area book ending the historical parts doing its best to keep the charm but attach it to a more modern world. For Rhett, I was disappointed with the menu. Frankly it was not that extensive, and I was mentally debating if I would actually like anything on it. Well, digging into dinner, the table started with the Angry Mussels -- fermented chili, leeks, bacon, sourdough which were actually amazing. There was also a shared Rhett Caesar -- local grit croutons, crispy okra, grana padano at the table too that offered a very interesting variation to a common plate. For the main course I had the Shrimp & Red Rice -- house made tasso ham, crispy okra, smoked tomato gravy, carolina gold rice that balanced out the appetizers without overwhelming the entire meal experience. Bottom line the food was amazing. The mussels were perhaps the best version I have ever had in my life. (Yes, they were that good) I hope the menu grows a little over time or at least remains fresh with some favorites staying and new additions rotating in and out. read more

I went for brunch on the 4th of July. I used valet since I saw some of the reviews saying that you can validate parking. I guess that's a thing of the past because there was no validation. The valet is $10. The restaurant wasn't crowded even though it was a holiday, maybe because it was still a Thursday. I was seated promptly, and the service was great. My waitress checked in often and gave her recommendations on which menu items to choose and why. I ordered the burger, which at the time was served with shoestring fries (my waitress indicated the burger is not always served with the same type of fries). This burger was amazing! Burgers come a dime a dozen, but this one stood out despite the simple toppings. The seating was well spaced, and there was a lot of natural sunlight. I'll definitely be back to Rhett when visiting Savannah in the future. read more

Food exceeded expectations. Yoga was our server. He was amazing. Only negative was No Bloody Mary's until after 11:00 on Sundays (GA Law)

The service was 5 stars, atmosphere was 5 stars also. The only reason for 4 stars was the change in fries!! I loved the fries SO MUCH, and it had been a while since I had eaten Rhett brunch and didn't realize they had gotten skinnier and crispier. If you love a crispy fry, then you'll love them! I'm personally one of those weirdos who likes a squishier fry. The coffee is excellent and you must get one if you go for brunch. A Bloody Mary is one of my favorite cocktails, and it was almost as good without the alcohol. Being 18 weeks pregnant, I almost didn't order it, but glad I just got the virgin because the seasoning was on point. If you're looking for a great Bloody Mary, all 5 flavors at Rhett are fabulous. read more

So I was torn between 2 and 3 stars for the following reasons: Service - 3.5 stars. Service was a little slow considering the restaurant was fairly empty but our server was really nice. My sister is gluten and lactose intolerance and he checked with the kitchen to make sure the dishes she ordered were safe for her. Food - 2 stars. The appetizers were great - we had a half dozen oysters and wild stiped bass ceviche. These 2 dishes were fresh and delicious. For our entrees we had the special which was a red snapper, my sister had the 10 oz roasted NY strip steak, and we split a side of Brussel sprouts. Man, were these entrees terrible. I am not exaggerating. The skin on my red snapper was soggy, the fish was severely undercooked, and the portions were tiny. The NY strip was pretty undercooked as well for a medium rare and it was smothered in a sauce. My sister didn't even eat half of her steak because it was so bad. Even the side of brussels weren't cooked properly. They were undercooked and only the outer leaves were crispy. The insides were still hard/raw. The restaurant itself is pretty with a nice ambiance but I would say pass on the food and drinks here. If you want a good drink, go to the rooftop bar in the same hotel called The Lost Square. read more

Saturday December 10, 2022 Landed in Savannah Georgia and it was time for dinner after the long day of flying. There was a Christmas parade happening right outside of my hotel and didn't want to be around all those people. Call me unsociable but I was too tired. (Plus COVID) I decided to just eat at the hotels restaurant called Rhett. Since it was just me I decided to eat at the bar. The service was kind of slow but after talking to the bartender she said they were swamped with drink orders. Being from California seeing people take drinks to go and water along the river front was crazy. I ordered an unsweetened tea and the scallop chowder. The scallop chowder was delicious. It was super rich and I'm not use to that. The size of the scallops were huge. After dinner I got the apple pie cheesecake. Definitely taste better in the restaurant. I got the dessert to go so I could eat it in the comfort of my pjs in the hotel room. It was a long day after all. read more

Service was outstanding! We shared a Caesar salad (more than enough for 2) that was excellent! Shared the steak frites, ordered medium rare. It came rare but we were fine with that. I didn't love the sauce on top but I'm not a "saucy" gal. If you are, you'd love. Frites were perfect and the garlic aioli was too. Prices were very high but we expected that - no complaints. We ate outside but bc we stayed in the hotel above we crossed thru more than once- ambiance is classy, clean, modern. read more

Simple breakfast but delish and the service is very good. Banana bread and the chicken sausage are very special.

It was a bit difficult to find this place when entering from the hotel side of the building. Once we found it, an outdoor entrance on the back side is the way to go. The Benedict was amazing! Everyone at our table loved the food. The service was slow but they seemed understaffed. The mimosas were also good. Great spot to walk along the river after. read more
