I was excited to try RH Rooftop, and the experience was ultimately okay-- just that. Went early on a Thursday evening (4:45) in the hopes of enjoying a happy hour, as that had been advertised at other RH locations. This one didn't offer one, which was a general disappointment (and offering to be might benefit them-- the place was dead for most of the two hours we were there). The space is beautiful and luxurious: a lovely fountain is in the center and signature chandeliers fill the dining area. I was a little disappointed that the choices of seating were were given -- though the place was empty-- was either a very small table (so small our servers apologized for having to awkwardly stack things as dishes came out) or a table attached to the only other large party dining there. Felt like a very strange choice. Also, while the place is very upscale and very expensive, that vibe was somewhat at odds with other diners who did arrive in what literally looked like old pajama pants and workout gear. The food was all good, but portions are very small for the big prices: entrees are all in the $50 range, sandwiches in the $30 range. A "petite" baked potato (which is petite indeed) was $14; burrata was $26. It was fine, but you can have a true consistently upscale experience elsewhere for those kinds of prices. I'd come back -- if there was a happy hour!

The ambiance here is too tier! Truly a must experience restaurant in Columbus, and a fantastic option for celebrating a special occasion or enjoying a nice brunch. The food here is pretty good, and the menu has recently expanded. While the service is good and the drinks are good, the prices have recently increased while the experience has remained the same. I hope to see elevation added to the experience to match the new prices!

Website didn't state brunch days/hours so a bit disappointed that it wasn't available when we arrived. The RH associate greeting downstairs was fantastic and helpful in telling about how beautiful it would be in the restaurant and she was not wrong! Lunch options were delicious still!

Absolutely beautiful restaurant. Feels like a dream to be inside. The ambiance and service was absolutely amazing . They were very forgiving to me not liking the drink, got the wrong side and offered to bring the correct one out. Left the broccolini on the table aswell. I really enjoyed my lunch, I had lamb . Which was mad fantastically. The petite lamb chops were very easy to eat. And so tender, I got them pink. Shrimp was OK. I got the cucumber mojito which was amazing aswell. Definitely pay for the experience but worth every penny in my opinion. I would love to come back and visit to try more dishes.

This is one of my FAVORITEEEEE spots in Columbus! I love the vibes and it's just so instagramable! The lobster roll was my favorite thing I've tried there so far. I've never had a bad experience when it comes to our service; they're so sweet and I love to bring my friends from out of town here

I'm from Houston and I've heard about this restaurant and have been dying to visit. I got a chance to visit RH rooftop Columbus for lunch and it was everything I expected. Beautiful ambience, amazing food, and great service. I enjoyed every moment eating here even on a rainy day. If I ever make it back in the area, there's no doubt that I'll definitely be back for lunch or dinner. Now look forward to trying the same concept in different cities. Thank you for a great meal.

The perfect spot for a date night or for anyone looking for some instagram worthy pictures. The execution of the food was spot on, the charcuterie board is phenomenal and the service is spectacular! Exactly what you dream of and more in a rooftop restaurant

Great lunch at RH Rooftop. I decided to try the lobster roll, and I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh and tasty it was. It might not beat the ones I've had in coastal cities, but it is definitely a top contender for Columbus. The service was steady and the setting is beautiful as always.

Amazing place to grab food with some friends. The food is not only fresh and delicious, but the ambiance is exceptional, especially on a beautiful sunny day. The furniture is extremely comfortable and the service is kind and attentive! Excited to try other RH locations and to come back! I would 100% recommend the lobster roll and the truffle fries are perfect and worth the unfortunately charge! My friends also ordered the burger which they raved about!

I don't give too many 5's but this place was undeniably GOOD! Food was a 5, Service was a 5, Ambiance was a 5, walk through tour of the furniture and decoration was a 5. One of the BEST LOBSTER ROLLS in the city and the drawn butter was exquisite. The shaved French dip and au jus was SCRUMPTIOUS! Drinks were on point and the Truffle Parmesan fries were amazing as well! Waffles and Bacon were lip smacking. We can't wait to go back!

Our waiter, Jordan was a rock star! Friendly knowledgeable and took care of our every need with anticipation before we would ask. And the food - OMG!!! Every dish was a 10! If you haven't been to a RH rooftop restaurant you need to go as they use their furniture and it's super comfy! And the vibe with music is perfect for special occasions or just to meet a friend. Made fresh with quality ingredients you will crave whatever you order when you leave! My new favorite place

Mini lobster rolls with caviar

Ambiance could not have been more pretty. Chandeliers at every table and big plants taking in the greenhouse roof. We felt so fancy being there but it wasn't intimidating. Came for lunch on a weekday and it was not very crowded. It was my first caviar experience and I have no notes. The mini lobster rolls were so cute and the buns were toasted to perfection.

Ask the Community - RH Rooftop Restaurant at RH Columbus

Do they have parking or valet?

No, off-street parking is available all around the site though.

Do you need to make a reservation through the week ? do you have high chairs?

Reservations aren't necessary

Is there a dress code here?

Its a little more upscale. I would not show up in jeans and a t-shirt. Maybe jeans and a nice top, polished for guys, etc.

If you're going here on a weekday in the afternoon, is this place kid friendly or is it more of an adult only place?

Last time I went on a weekday afternoon but I don't remember seeing any kids there. It felt more like a grownup place. I don't think they had a kids' menu either.

We were greeted by our server, Angel, who was friendly with just the right amount of sarcasm -- quick-witted and fun, never over the line. It was a Friday night, so the restaurant was definitely filling up, but the atmosphere stayed relaxed. The space itself is dimly lit, nicely decorated, and has a bit of an upscale feel without being stuffy. The menu offers a solid variety, from appetizers and salads to burgers, poultry, seafood, and steaks. Instead of bread, they start you off with house-made pickles, which I personally loved -- as a pickle fan, I didn't miss the bread at all. For my meal, I went with the 1977 Burger, ordered medium rare, topped with sautéed mushrooms, a fried egg, Havarti cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion. At Ted's you can choose beef or bison, and I went with the bison. I also added a side of horseradish mayo, which really took the burger up a notch. The burger comes with fresh-cut fries or a side, and they offer a half fries, half onion rings option -- an easy choice for me. My wife went a bit more upscale with a filet, cooked medium well, and chose asparagus and Parmesan broccoli for her sides. She brought a cake to celebrate both birthdays, so we skipped dessert, but Angel surprised us with a couple of complimentary bowls of ice cream to go with the cake, which was a really nice touch. The only reason I'm not giving this a full 5 stars is because my wife's steak initially came out undercooked and her sides were cold. That said, once it was sent back, everything came out hot, cooked correctly, and she really enjoyed it. Overall, it was a very good dining experience with great service and a comfortable atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend Ted's Montana Grill for a nice night out and would happily return.

The ambiance was intimate, upscale, and perfect for a date or celebrating a special occasion. As for the food, it looked incredible, but unfortunately the flavor didn't quite match the presentation. Everything was beautifully plated, but most dishes left me wanting a little more seasoning and depth. At $39 per person for their endless brunch experience, it's a solid value if you're looking to sample a variety of dishes. That said, I don't see myself returning for brunch. I would come back to give their dinner menu a try because the atmosphere and service alone make it worth another visit. Great drinks, amazing service, and a beautiful atmosphere but the brunch food didn't quite live up to the presentation. I'll be back for dinner, but I'd personally skip brunch next time. Very spacious, well lit, and their staff was friendly. Sadly, that's about it for the positives. Their concept of bottomless brunch is great, the culinary execution needs work. My best bites of the day were bacon and a caesar salad, but I feel like those things are pretty hard to mess up in general. The avacado toast was okay, my egg was overdone but it had decent flavor. The steak and eggs sucked, no other way to say it. My steak was overdone while simultaneously being undercooked in some areas. The potatoes tasted like they came straight out of a bag and into an air fryer, no seasoning, and stale. The donut holes were really disappointing. They came out cold, hard, lumpy, and dry. We were also supposed to be playing bingo, but no one ever brought us cards or even acknowledged the game. Someone won towards the end of our visit, but we never got the chance to play. The DJ was bumping and the guy making waffles was cool, but I won't be back.

So when a location opened closer to home, it honestly felt like a dream come true. Unfortunately, this location failed miserably, and I left extremely disappointed. We arrived at 7:00 p.m. for our 7:15 reservation and were immediately met with a very dismissive attitude. Despite there being plenty of empty tables, we were told rather rudely, "We'll seat you at 7:15." At that point, I already found myself thinking that I probably should have just driven the extra 20 minutes to the Delaware location. Unfortunately, the experience only got worse once our food arrived. My salmon and burgers were extremely overcooked, the potatoes were excessively salty, and the pasta soup was not edible, and honestly, it wasn't even soup. It had more of a chicken-and-dumplings consistency. The club sandwich was also hard, as though it had been sitting for some time. What was most disappointing was the lack of any meaningful attempt to remedy the situation. There was no replacement, no refund, and no real effort to make the experience right. I ultimately paid the bill and left. This was supposed to be a birthday dinner for my kids, which made the experience even more disappointing. Food of this quality should never leave the kitchen, and as a server, you should never want a guest to walk away feeling this dissatisfied. I have been a longtime fan of J. Alexander's, which is why this experience was particularly disappointing. Unfortunately, after this visit, I will not be returning to this location. What should have been a special birthday dinner turned into an absolutely awful experience.
