They got everything moved without a scratch on anything, and honestly, they're the fastest movers I've ever seen. James said he treats moving like Tetris, and he and Jesse did an excellent job getting lots of boxes and furniture safely onto dollies. I also appreciated how they triaged the types of furniture and loaded so many things onto multiple dollies in order to take it all down the elevator in as few trips as possible. From a pandemic perspective, they wore masks during the move, and I didn't feel any concerns. When I had to sign final paperwork at my old place, they headed to the new place and informed the concierge of our arrival to get the loading dock ready--now that's service! Matthew and Lawrence showed up right in time. They helped me move the UHaul in front of the building. I needed help packing the last quarter of my belongings (although I had said I wouldn't need packing help- wishful thinking!). Lawrence devised a plan, helped me pack, and Matthew started getting things out of the apartment for more space. I had requested three men but someone had called out. However, iMovers called another guy who promptly arrived and was able to stay most of the day. They took apart my furniture, reassembled it (much better than me when I had last done it solo!), packed the truck like a winning game of Tetris, and drove it to the new place. I had asked for 8 hrs but it took 10. They never questioned leaving early. They took special care in placing the furniture, too, which was very much appreciated. Additionally, they made moving kind of fun: they are all very personable, laughed a lot, and were very kind to my daughter who fancied herself moving help. Starting the quote process, I reached out and provided details along with pictures of them items I was moving, dates, etc. I received a quote back within minutes, which ended up being discounted because I had a referral flier. On moving day, the guys arrived promptly at their arrival time and were ready to hit the ground running. I showed them an inventory of rooms and items to move and they wasted no time getting everything packed into the truck. It was actually pretty impressive to watch them lift heavy items as if they were light as a feather and place them onto the truck like Tetris pieces. Once we arrived to my new place they unloaded and placed my things were I wanted them and even shifted them around when I changed my mind. Can I say that not a single item was damaged, considering I had three pretty heavy pieces of mirrored furniture I'd say that's spectacular. Gary was punctual, was clear about his availability, picked up and removed every last bit of the…read moretrash pile a contractor left on my back patio, was friendly and even swept up after so it didn't look messy! Some of it was waterlogged so it weighed more than it should've (which didn't even occur to me) so I offered to pay more than he'd quoted since he'd make less profit after going to the dump. He refused and stuck to his original quote. Also, I don't know how he managed to fit everything in the back of his truck, but he did, tied it down well and covered it with a tarp so nothing would fly out while driving. He was super clear about taking it to the dump, so I know this stuff won't end up on the side of the road somewhere or dumped in the woods, too many people do that so they don't have to pay the dump fees. He worked quickly and was done loading in about a half hour. At least half of that time was spent rearranging stuff in the back of his truck so it would all fit and could be tied down. I'm holding onto his number! I will definitely use him again! Totally professional, courteous, and hardworking, I have only good things to say! If you need junk removal/construction debris removal, give him a shot, I only wish I'd found him sooner!

I was a little skeptical because they don't have a website, don't have a lot of reviews, and you have to communicate with them over the phone. After comparing their quote with other moving companies they were way cheaper. I was still skeptical, but my wife had a good feeling about them so we went with them. I am so glad that we did. They arrived at the storage facility early and got to work. They got the truck loaded and were on the road faster than I expected. They did an equally good job unloading and placing everything exactly where we wanted it. They also did a great job reassembling a very unique dining room table that has a number of moving parts. The table was disassembled by another moving company and I never had any assembly instructions. These guys did a great job reassembling the table. There were a couple of times they noticed that some of the pieces were not 100% lining up right so they kept adjusting so that it was perfect. I really appreciated their attention to detail. Also in hindsight, A lot of the other moving companies required a significant amount of information which I thought was overkill. It was actually easier talking with Amigos and explaining the job. Overall they were very professional, did an outstanding job for a reasonable price. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them.
