I contracted HH because I have seen them throughout the resort doing work on other rigs. I should have spoken to my neighbors and/or read their Yelp reviews before calling, but I scheduled an estimate to replace a worn awning on my 28ft travel trailer. After the estimator arrived, I was quoted a price just under $800 for parts and labor, but i failed to get it in writing. They came out the following week with the new awning and proceeded to remove the old one. Somehow, the torsion spring assembly broke. This was strange to us because we tested the awning motor and the spring and the old one opened and retracted without problems. They also discovered that the LED light strip was loose and they recommended replacement, so I approved that as well. Another week went by and somehow, my estimate went from $800 to $1380! I didn't understand how additional parts totaling less than $325 equated to a $600 increase! I was frustrated but I agreed to the updated price and once again, I failed to get it in writing. Though I was frustrated with HH, I was still trying to trust that they would do right by us. Boy was I wrong! The work was finally completed the following week, and I received an invoice for nearly $2200! This was supposed to be an $800 job taking two hours, but the invoice showed .5 hours for the estimate, which was fine. They then charged 3 hours (two workers) to remove the old awning, but stopped work when the torsion arm broke and the damaged LED strip. This was fine. But when they returned with the proper parts, they charged an additional 3 hours even though most of the work was already done! They were trying to charge me 5.5 hours of labor for a two hour job! They were resetting their work time with every trip to our site. I spoke to the rep on the phone and complained about the amount. He first asked if i was a vet, and that I could get a military discount. He then magnanimously offered a $600 discount, which I rejected. I demanded a return to the originally agreed upon estimate of $1380 and not a penny more. It took a couple of days, but the rep finally met my demand, and when I then asked for my military discount, he declined to award it as I already "saved" $900 on the "labor" they took off the invoice! To make matters worse, the persons who did the work left a mess on the site after they finished! We found nails, ripped pieces of the old fabric and some rubber material littered throughout the site! These guys are crooks. and they screwed with the wrong veteran. Moral: talk to your neighbors before calling an rv repair person, and if nothing else, consult Yelp! 1/3 of HH's reviews on Yelp are 2 or less. That's not coincidence.

Parked professionally in front of our home, quietly and dressed in Penny electric shirt. Asked if he needed to wear booties to enter our home. Got right to the job, asking us detailed questions to make sure he understood what the electrical problem was. Troubleshot and helped put our minds at ease that all would be ok. Attended to the issue in a timely fashion and even stated, I dont want to drag out the process to cost you more money. Friendly, professional and kept us informed the whole time. Glad I called penny electric.

Manufacturer walked me through the issue and it turned out that a DIY program that was installed locally here in Vegas, I assume by Penny definitely not by us, was responsible for the system error. One would assume renting some equipment would be fairly easy. It is not whatsoever. Needed a diesel…read moregenerator for an event, and the hoops you have to jump through to get an initial quote is lengthy. submit a weblead for a quote, and it takes 3 days for a rep to call you back. in addition, pricing for the generator itself was reasonable.... however if you need extra accessories (i.e. cabling, extra duplex boxes, etc) its more than the rental itself. they charge $1 per foot of cable!! extra duplex boxes are ridiculous, a $150 drop and $150 pickup charge, and don't make it easy for you to even pick it up with a trailer receiver that is impossible to find, even if you wanted to. We even fueled the unit ourselves, since we have access to diesel fuel, because their per gallon rate was ASTRONOMICAL! so the $165 rental fee turned into $957 for literally a 4hr event. Plus, they are not willing to match or be competitive in pricing. Yes I know we are not a construction site renting tons of equipment, but don't belittle the businesses that aren't. 1 Yelp review can easily tarnish your reputation locally, and as I found out, this business isn't very competitive, because 2 other companies in town didn't seem to care to respond either. so businesses large and small beware. definitely will not be using them again.

Shortly after the repair we had smoke coming from the exhaust system because of the leak spilled into the exhaust. For instance, Steve went over our potential system, explained the potential output, maintenance, and any concerns we had about installation. Robco also made it a point to not disway us from shopping around; he actually encouraged me to have the meeting and gave us ample time to consider options. Once I notified him that we were gonna go with them, the inspectors were out making sure the breaker box and roof were OK. Day of installation, Alfonso and his crew continued the trend of being thoughtful and nice. From beginning to end the solar installation was done within two days, and at the end of each a progress update was provided.
