Awesome spot for a big hearty breakfast! Their menu is large and the flavor is awesome! I love a good mom and pop restaurant with a story and they put theirs on the front page of their menu! We ordered a pretty standard breakfast and it came out in a timely fashion and was piping hot! The waitress was really sweet and our coffees weren't ever empty. I live the inside of this place because it has a large skylight in the middle of the restaurant so it really opens it up. Such a cool place and one that will be on our returning list for sure! read more

This is the sister restaurant to the Glendale Garden Cafe. I find the staff here to be a little friendlier than the Glendale location and the food is consistently good. It's a good place to stop for breakfast or lunch because it's only open to 2:00 or 3:00 p.m. Not a huge selection of healthy portions but a good place for a cheat day from your diet. I recommend the hash browns sausage and pancakes. Eat in or carryout. Its a Toledo gem read more

Consistently good. We have eaten breakfast here many times. It's affordable and the food has generous portions. The service is excellent as well. I have had breakfast at many locations in the area, and this is the most consistent I've found. I find many breakfast / lunch places to be overpriced and mediocre at best. read more

Reynolds Garden Cafe (along with its sister location, Glendale Garden Cafe) has consistently been an excellent option for breakfast and lunch. The service has always been excellent. The food, in terms of both quality and variety, is superior to most other diners & family-style restaurants. The prices are low. For example, this morning I paid 11 bucks for 2 peach crepes, 4 eggs, and a Coke. RGC has a full bar that I've never utilized, but if you ever need an Irish coffee or a Bloody Mary, it'll be there for you. You really can't go wrong by eating here. 5 stars! read more

Service was horrible.The server is loved by many as a long time server but both time I've had her; poor is all I can say. I asked twice for water with lemon and never received the lemon. Wrong breakfast delivered to me and I was asked if I would eat it. First time eggs over easy both broke and still presented. Today hashbrowns with onions but delivered with green pepper. Remake of breakfast was still wrong, no onion and rock hard toast the knif couldn't even cut. Garbage flies were relentless back by the restrooms. They serve crap ketchup; some tomato second ingredient corn syrup. Bring you own ketchup if you'd like something that tastes good. I loved this restaurant in the past. Now their savings pennies while in time it will cost dollars. I wish them the best. read more

Our first stop at this Diner since my college years. My wife and I try to go somewhere different every week. We drove by and immediately decided why not here! It's an old style diner with a lot of room. They had six servers for quick service. The menu is quite large, so maybe review before you arrive. I had liver and onions. Before you say yuk, it was just like my mom made. My wife had a Reuben omelet with rye toast, the omelet was unique and they used the best (Schwabel bread). Had breakfast here one Wednesday morning. The place was pretty busy, but there were tables available and I was seated immediately. I ordered the Breakfast Skillet - which comes with a side of toast and sausage gravy - I also ordered a side of Corned Beef Hash. The Breakfast Skillet looks like an omelet nestled on a bed of hash browns. The egg portion was enjoyable, but the hash browns were in need of seasoning and needed to be crispier. The Rye toast I ordered was buttered - and good. The sausage gravy was rather bland. I added black pepper and hot sauce to it give some flavor. The Corned Beef Hash was your standard out-of-the can hash. I should have asked them to try and crisp it up - it was soft and soggy. You get a lot of food for your money - I just wish it were better. I have eaten here before but this was our first time for breakfast. We had a party of five and were seated right away. Our waitress greeted us immediately to take our drink orders. In a few moments she took our food order and food came in a timely matter. All our dishes looked very appealing with very nice portions. Believe me when I say this, I looked around and the restaurant is kept very clean. Our waitress did an awesome job attending to our needs. Nothing fancy on the inside but still clean and welcoming. It seems this is a local hangout as I witnessed numerous patrons greeting other tables and stopping by for a chat. The food. Pretty darn good. As a self proclaimed soup connoisseur I will say the chicken noodle soup was pretty delightful. I'm doing this review a while after visiting so I can't pin point why it was special but I specifically remember thinking I'd be back for soup. And that they sell it in large quantities Togo. They get me. I also had the turkey dinner which was a decent portion and pretty yummy. My husband had a club and was happy too. The had a big menu with lots of appealing options as well as some pretty intriguing daily specials. We will definitely return. read more

I hadn't gone to this place since March... I'm not sure what happened to this place since then but they're really skimping on their food, the bacon tasted like beef jerky or more like a pig ear I feed my dog, and the sausage patty my wife had tasted like a hamburger pad just terrible and for two people it was $25 I don't remember ever paying $25 there for two people it's just not worth the money anymore needless to say I won't be back. read more

Great little diner. We both had buffet, only thing I didn't like we the scrambled eggs. They had cheese but still seemed bland. Switched to an omelet and it was delicious. Buffet had both breakfast and lunch items. Service was friendly and they cleared plates quickly from buffet and filled drinks. Did have to wait awhile for our check but they got busy and I'm sure it's hard to tell when folks are done when they are doing the buffet. Glad we opted to stop here on our road trip rather than a chain restaurant. read more

Went for Sunday Brunch Buffet, left disappointed. French Toast was ok, eggs were wet and soggy. The service started out with a smug host and as we exited the 4 workers at the counter never said a word to us on our way out. Been there before and had a better experience for Brunch Buffet but this experience was pretty shotty and wouldn't recommend going back any time soon. read more

This has got to be one of my favorite places to eat in Toledo. The waitstaff is quick, helpful and friendly and the meals are plentyful and delicious. They are open for breakfast and lunch, with breakfast taking a large portion of their menu. I recommend their omlettes-made with 5 (!) eggs and plenty of fillings. There are a lot to choose from! Their salads are huge & wonderful as well. They have a good lunch menu, burgers, sandwiches, soups and smaller "dinner" type entrees. The prices are very reasonable for the size portions they serve. The owner also has another restaurant at Glendale & Detroit Avenues called Glendale Garden Cafe. They are open breakfast, lunch & dinner & have a similar menu, although a large dinner selection is also included. read more

I have to say, the food is good and portions were good as well. Brittany was cool. My issue, they charge a credit card surcharge. You don't know this until you het your check. If there were a sign on the door, i would have had the choice to not enter. What's next, paying a portion of the electric bill? Since Covid, plastic is the way and now the consumer gets screwed. Every other business includes such costs in their pricing. Perhaps I should charge you for coming to your establishment. After all, if i'm not there, u missed out on that profit overall. Until that 'policy' changes, I cannot return. Its all about principles. OH and let's talk about principles...an elderly couple were there, ordered ONE dinner and split it. Maybe they didnt have enough money or maybe (lile most elderly people) they don't eat alot. This place charged them a fee for splitting their dinner. It was the waitress who charges them. They weren't told before hand, they found out when they received their bill. I hope they didn't tip her. #pathetic. Oh i already had my charge removed fromy card, bcuz it was fraud. Thanks for the FREE meal. Still won't be back. I'll go to a chain restaurant. read more

I'm not a buffet kind of girl, but Reynolds Garden on Sunday has made me a believer. For $10, you get access to a buffet table full of breakfast staples like eggs, bacon and sausage gravy as well as some lunch items like short ribs and fish and fruit, pastries galore. It was ok. I went yesterday and my experience was nice. I have nothing negative to say. It was simply just ok. Nothing amazing. I ordered breakfast. I ordered waffles with bacon and my Guy friend ordered corn beef hash with poached eggs. My food tasted ok once again not good or bad. My Guy friend said they poached his eggs correctly and most places don't know how to and he said the corn beef hash was pretty good. I would go again if invited here read more

The coffee was fresh and hot and the standard "acidic" coffees you'd find in most diners anywhere, but overall inviting enough to have a few cups for a discerning coffee "snob" like me. Place was PACKED so all tables and booth were full, but they have a nice counter service with plenty of seating and space to move and eat and be very comfortable for your meal. What's fascinating is the incredible teamwork and collective desire to ensure your time, experience, and meal are spent enjoying your company and food not staring at your watch wondering about time. The entire restaurant was seated, served, and cleared with clean tables within the time I had to get and consume my own breakfast. So if you see a packed house on your arrival and don't desire that counter seat fear not - in this home environment your wait will be short and your day will lose no valuable time - well worth some minimal patience - you'll be glad you did. Your greeted as soon as you walk in by one or more of the extremely hardworking waitresses with a smile - your also sent off with a "Thank you. have a Good Day" by one more waitresses as you leave - both excellent touch of service class enhancing customer experience. I've never seen a more well-run diner or any restaurant from the waitresses to the cooks to the dishwashers the teamwork, attention to details, customer satisfaction, and to the incredible cleanliness of the restaurant despite the constant flow of customers - I've never seen a restaurant so clean and kept so clean the out the day. The egg white veggie wrap was nicely portioned without being over the top; a little mustard and hot sauce was required to complete the profile, but that's fine. The veggie omelette was good, with a big portion of hash browns and a decent quantity of veggies in the omelette. Hot sauce and mustard were also our friend here, but that works for me. The staff were very friendly and attentive, even beyond what we would have expected. All told, this was an excellent experience if you're looking for a fast paced diner breakfast.

I'm thinking that's because of the breakfast and lunch crowd the restaurant attracts, many of whom have been working hard at jobs that get their shoes dirty. No points off for that. Service was friendly and efficient. Prices were good, and the portion they served me was just right for a hungry driver. Parking was easy and the store was easy to find and get to. Overall: fine. Not for me, but I can see why it gets four stars overall.
