Amazing price for a very solid NY style pizza. The price almost makes this a 5 star for me but there's nothing crazy to set this pizza to a 5 star pizza. Hole in the wall shop with limited seating. Reyes'a pizza is one of my favorites down the shore. If not my favorite. It's so good! It's a small little whole in the wall with a lot to offer. My go to's are the Buffalo chicken pizza, sausage and peppers pizza, and the white vodka pizza (which is my absolute favorite). They are all filled with such good flavor. You can't go wrong. Don't pass up the opportunity to pop on inside for a slide. You won't regret it. I already can't wait to be back again for more! read more

Reye's is the best pizza in the area. Calzones, strombolis, chicken rolls, gyros and soup are all awesome.

I tried going to the Pizza Shop but apparently it was permanently closed so I came here. The reviews were pretty good too. I ordered the sausage, pepper, and onion pizza and a square slice. The sausage had good flavor and the crust held the ingredients well. The sicilian was good and that slice had a nice crunch to it. They did charge me $1 for extra sauce but I guess with this economy you can expect that. The sauce didn't blow me away but it has decent flavor. This is an old school pizzeria that probably does a ton of delivery in the area. Not a ton of parking in the area but I got lucky. It is your standard football pizza. I liked it and would come back. 4 stars all the way. read more

I was pleasantly surprised this pizza was really good and the hot sub sandwich was also very good.

There are many pizzerias around. I stopped here for two slices 2 months ago and it was good. This time I ordered a whole pie and brought it home for dinner. Just a plain cheese both times and I gotta say it is good. I rank it up with many of the top places nearby. Not a large eat in space so to go may be best bet. I've lived in Belmar my entire life (22 years) and this has been my go-to pizza place! I love their meatball, buffalo chicken, & penne pasta/deep dish pizza, their California cheesesteak, and their chicken Cesar salad. I can always rely on getting great pizza whenever I'm craving it. Very friendly in person and a busy place. The only thing I've come across not recommending are their cheese fries. I craved cheese fries one snowy day (a lot of cravings- I know) and when we got home the cheese wasn't melted. No big deal - we threw them in the oven for a little and kept an eye on them and they still weren't melting. The 2 evident slices of fake/plastic/synthetic cheese just turned brown and didn't melt what's so ever. Luckily I was able to peel the terrible cheese off and I ate a few fries. I won't be ordering cheese fries but I will continue to eat their pizza. read more

Ordered 2 large pies: one plain and one peppers/onion. Sauce is sugary sweet, cheese is heavy, oily and doesn't even remotely taste like mozzarella, crust is sad and floppy. Raw onions and peppers thrown on. After 15 years of annual visits to Italy I've come to terms with what we call pizza on this side of the Atlantic, but for this place to rock 4.5 stars is shameful if not fraudulent. read more

Had I known about it i would have eaten there about 3 times a week which is what I do now. Its either here or Vinnies but Reyes pies are top shelf even the slices are great ! *WARNING GRAPHIC CONTENT TO FOLLOW* I am sick to my stomach to explain the experience I had involving Reyes Pizza in Belmar last night. Now let me start by saying I have always had pleasant experiences with this restaurant and have had not one bad thing to say about them. However, after last night I can no longer say the same. After a long day of work my friends and I decided Reyes would be a good quick dinner, close by and convenient. We placed our order around 9:20pm. While this sounds late, they do not close until 10pm leaving them a decent 40 minute window for one of their last orders of the night. At the end of our order the employee explained it would be 25 minutes until our delivery arrived. I thanked him and asked if I could add a Snapple to which he responded, "Yes, 30 minutes now." I am still confused as to why adding a Snapple to the bag takes this establishment 5 minutes to accomplish, are they bottling it themselves??? We let this slide. What happened next... not so much. My friend ordered a buffalo chicken salad, it looked phenomenal and smelled even better. However, a few bites in my friend felt a strange texture on her tongue and upon reaching into her mouth pulled out a small black hair (my friend is dirty blonde). She let this go as this happens sometimes and continued eating her salad not letting it get to her head. That was until she pulled out 4 MORE consecutive hairs. These hairs were short, coarse, and stubbly and it is safe to say they did not appear to be from someone's head (if you are picking up what i'm putting down). My friend tossed the salad into the trash in disgust, rinsed her mouth out, and went to bed hungry as well as distraught. Today we called Reyes to explain the upsetting experience we had encountered and the worker on the phone refused to let us speak to a manager and then abruptly hung up on us without any resolution. PLEASE do not give this place your business. They are not only unsanitary but extremely unprofessional. We will no longer be giving them our time or money. Let us, the people, stand together as a community and no longer encourage bad business. Thank you. read more

If I could choose zero stars I would. ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE I've ever had (enough to inspire my first yelp review). I have food allergies and didn't know one of the dishes included an ingredient I couldn't have. Realizing upon opening my food at home, I called the restaurant to place a new order without the ingredient I cannot eat. The guy on the phone literally yelled at me when I told him I didn't know that ingredient was included as it wasn't mentioned on the menu. I told him I wanted to place a new order (modified so I could eat it). He continued to yell at me at which point I said I didn't understand why he was being so rude, to forget my order and that I won't be back again. His reply? "well that's alright!" . I didn't even ask for a refund all I did was try to order more food. Unbelievable!!! read more

Located close by decided to Rey this place out. Pizza was average. Drinks weren't cold and salad was soggy. They were nice inside and had pleasant experience. Being American people dont realize I speak fluent Spanish so comments heard from some of the guys weren't very kind but the counter person was great so if your having a late night drink it's not a bad place to go. read more
