This is our favorite go to pizza place. Tuesday two for one pizza is wonderful. I can't think of anything I don't like.

The food is delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. Today Paula recommended the hot Italian Grilled Chicken sandwich: a large tender piece of grilled chicken with fresh mozz and homemade roasted red peppers on amazing crispy but soft italian bread. It was sooooo delicious. My friend had a meatball sandwich. She said the meatballs were excellent. We ordered garlic knots which were drenched in garlic, soft and yummy. The fries looked really good. The interior is a basic pizza place with booths that seat 4. I bet the pizza is fabulous; the guys out front were making it fresh. we were there for 2 hours just chatting and enjoying our lunch. I recommend going in with friends, some beer or a bottle of wine to enjoy the delicious food. If Paula is there she gives great recommendations! read more

New to the area and a particular sandwich from this place was recommended by a friend. The sandwich is tasty, but I don't plan on going back, because the woman behind the counter is very nasty. She hard eyeballs me, as if I came in to do something nefarious. Her young helper mostly stays in the shadows until told, but is just as unfriendly. The husband lurks in the background until the two start bickering. The whole vibe is really weird and bad. It's difficult to enjoy the food you just bought when you were treated as if you were a criminal. And it's not a good way to behave if you want return customers. We have been going here since we moved to Brick as they had better pizza than the surrounding places. We recently ordered sandwiches and my wife's Shrimp parm (which we have gotten from here before) was under cooked. Shrimp was mushy and gray. When I brought the sandwich back and asked for a refund both upfront employees looked at it and tried to tell me it was cooked. Continued to try and explain shrimp to me and tell me it couldn't possibly be undercooked. Refused to refund the sandwich, only willing to remake. The remade sandwich was more cooked, but still not cooked well. We would have at least gone back for non shrimp items but after being treated like I had never had shrimp before and being refused a refund I won't be back. Shame. If you do decide to order from here, at least skip the shrimp. read more

Recently ordered a half dozen Arancini balls for Christmas dinner appetizers. While I've had these in the past and we're good, something was wrong with this order. First there was no sauce in the container. Second there was no meat ( a tiny piece of salami) inside and they were very dry. No peas, and we're very dry. No body ate them, they were terrible. read more

YOU HAVE TO GIVE THEM A SHOT!!! YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! What can be said about Nickolas's Pizza. How about it's deliciously delicious. It's NOT over priced like most pizzerias in this miserable state. To be totally honest with you the people who work there are pleasant to deal with as well which is something you really don't experience at all anymore in N.J. I've been eating from Nickolas Pizzeria for the better part of a decade and a half I'd say and have only ever had 1 problem. It wasn't on them either. It was an order issue from one of the kids that placed the order wrong and the owners still made the order right for me and did so at no expense to me which I really did appreciate. I highly recommend Nickolas Pizzeria and Restaurant! Their eggplant dishes kick ass. As for the Chicken Cheesesteak, if you're a fan of Chicken Cheesteaks you need to try one from here. It's the absolute best anywhere within 50 miles of North Brick. I'm not sure where they're getting their bread from but, as anyone with any food experience knows, whilst the ingredients of the sandwich are important there is nothing as important as the bread. Keep doing what you're doing at Nickolas Pizzeria and Restaurant. The food is delicious and not overly expensive which seems to be the trend here in NJ. People are overpaying for mediocre at best food. When you order from Nickolas Pizzeria you're paying a fair price for a meal that's far better than the more expensive Pizza places in the area. Here's a great example of Nickolas Price comparisons. A whole Chicken Cheestesteak from Nickolas is right around the $11.50 - $12.00 mark whereas the same sandwich at almost all of the other pizza places in the area cost closer to $20.00. This is for a far more inferior sandwich. The taste and quality between the roughly $12.00 Nickolas Pizzaria Chicken Cheesesteaks and the roughly $20.00 Chicken Cheesesteaks from other pizza places isn't even close. I've done this comparison on most everything I've eating from Nickolas and as someone who will happily pay a much higher price for better quality food it's nice to know that I can still go to my local Pizzaria, Nickolas and not even have to think about the quality or quanlty for that matter as Nickolas never lets me down. read more

I got to say being brought up in NYC, I consider myself some what of a pizza expert. And Nickolas pizza on Lanes Mills Road in Brick is some of the best pizza I've had since moving to Ocean County. Now let me warn you that the place doesn't have the best decor. But if you're looking for good food: pizza, muscles, pasta, etc., then give this place a try. Nickolas has the best pizza and pasta. They have great food and it is consistently great. Service is always great. Best pizza place around!

We are from out of town, looking for good pizza joint. Saw the good reviews here so gave it a shot. We're glad we did. First, understand this is not a fancy place. It's in a strip mall and you sit in those ugly Formica booths. The napkins are those tiny little things that fold into a dispenser. You know, the ones so small you need about 10 just to wipe the pizza grease off your hand. But the food was very good. Generous portions at a fair price, made to order. We all enjoyed our food, but the calzones were the standout. Make sure you ask for extra sauce. read more

A pretty excellent pizza place, tucked away in the back of the most 90's plaza I've been to since, well, the 90's. Seriously, nothing in this plaza has changed - there's even a mom & pop video store a few doors down! I've stopped here a few times now before long road trips, since it's right by the parkway entrance, and both times was fairly impressed. The slices on display are generally of the deep dish variety, but don't be fooled - the crust is surprisingly airy and light. Prices are pretty fair too, considering the size of the pizza. Best of all, they have birch beer and RC Cola on tap. Note that they don't deliver, but for good pizza, I'm willing to drive a little out of my way! read more

One of my ABSOLUTE favorite places to eat of all time. Hands down one of the best pizza places around, and this is coming from an Italian with roots up in Hoboken, great grandparents right off the boat from Naples. I am actually craving a slice right now, writing this is making me long for one (yea it is THAT good---not a dramatization either). I have been going here for YEARS, half my life practically come to think of it. The family that owns/runs this are real Italians, and lovely people! You will find Nick himself there more often than not. My FAVORITE thing off the menu is the white pizza (and with broccoli is a bonus), it is a pan pizza more or less ,so it just seals the deal (for me at least)!! No other white slices I have had compare, seriously. I love a nice light colored, fluffier crust, not thin and crispy and they just hit it right on! You really cannot go wrong with their sandwiches either. Everything is made right there, fresh and hot. Nothing ever looks old, even later in the day (probably because they are ALWAYS busy)---no time to sit out). The prices are comparable to other local pizzerias, no highway robbery. Unfortunately they don't deliver, like most REALLy good pizza places out there. But, totally worth the trip to pick up. Try it, you won't be sorry! read more

What can I say about this place? I'm pretty sure I put Nick's daughter (who was in my high school class) through college. I can't count the amount of times my friends and I would walk or bike to this place during our youth. The pizza tastes just as amazing today as it did back then. Maybe a bit of sentimentality gets in there too, but the place is still hopping after these years too. I love the sauce they use on their pizza and pastas. It's the best I've ever had outside of my Italian grandmothers. The fact that Nick, who still speaks in a very strong Italian accent after 15 years or so in Brick, is the owner still means not much has changed. The food is still damn good. They don't deliver, or at least they didn't when I lived there, but that doesn't stop the business. Definitely check this place out when your in Brick. Getting out the parking lot can be a pain (Welcome to Brick), but the food is worth it. read more
