30 minute wait. Host and our server not friendly. We sat outside, the inside was not very cozy, very outdated decor. Salad and pizza came out quickly. The salad was fine, unfortunately the pizza had a very soggy wet center. Who likes soggy pizza? Very disappointing, especially when the menu states the pizza will be WELL DONE. It was not!

This place is always yummy and my most recent trip was no exception. I was there with some family and we shared everything. Starting with the antipasto salad which had a great balsamic dressing, loads of various Italian meats, and was enough for four to share. We also had an order of ice balls which comes with two gigantic and delicious arancini. Then, we had the broccoli rabe and sausage white pizza, honey bacon pizza, and meatball parm pizza. They were all cooked perfectly and delicious. Our server was very friendly and very competent.

Ambiance is very casual. This is a BYOB very popular with locals because they serve great food in good size portions at reasonable prices. Dined here early last evening, Saturday. We sat on porch, you can also sit inside. Service by Marilyn and bus boys was excellent; they serve quickly and when we were there (510 to 620 pm) they kept filling tables as soon as they became vacant. Most people start with a salad, $12.95 or $13.95 or antipasto $16.95. We started with Apple Pecan Salad, yum. Then most people order a coal-fired pizza, $19.95 for large. All pizzas are topped with fresh basil. We had Tuscan Pizza and added anchovies to half of it ($1.50 extra). Delicious pizza. If you eat here once, I bet you will be back.

This is a smaller pizzeria that packs a great punch. The coal fire oven creates a slight crisp yet soft middle crust which has great flavor and a tiny bit of char to it. The flavors of the sauce are rich and fresh. Hot melted mozzarella and fresh basil too this beautiful Pie Waitstaff was friendly and fast. This is a must for fresh pizza LOVERS. we will definitely make the drive back. Next door is also their bakery to take some yummy baked goods home.

Service just plainly sucked but the pizza was good and came out quickly. Our waiter never asked us if we needed straws, garlic, red pepper etc. We were only aware after at another table, their server offered everything. So we asked for the red pepper flakes and we're promptly brought them. This is the kind of pizza that needs to be eaten there and right away, as it is thin and would probably get soggy if taken home.

First time at the pizza place as well as the creamery and it will not be the last! We are regulars at the bakery but today we did the pizza and arancini at their restaurant and walked over here for gelato and expresso. The waitress Laila was wonderful. She did recommend the eggplant tower for our next visit as my husband wanted the margarita pizza for his first visit. The ladies at the creamery Aubry and Chloe were simply delightful too! Sweet young ladies with customer service smiles ear to ear! We hope the owner sees this and tells the girls how much they are appreciated. Both spots have great service and experienced staff that shows...The gelato shop was very busy but they greeted every single person as they came in and never missed a step. The chocolate, stracciatella and pignoli were the flavors we tried and all were just delicious. My husband also had a double expresso and he loved that too! We will be back to bring some pints home next time. Can't wait to try the eggplant on our next visit to the pizza shop as well. I will take a photo of Laila our next trip.

Pretty good food. Came on a Saturday evening. No frills service and ambiance. Service was quick and good came pretty promptly. Fairly priced for large pizzas.

We always travel to get Delpontes pizza, we love it and always sit down and eat. However tonight we decided to order three pies to go and when we got home we opened the boxes to our three large pizza and two of them we really smal not even the size of the box and all theee were oval shaped. We were kind of disappointed, especially because when we done it it is always a decent size and tastes phenomenal.

Living at the northshore, we're blessed with so many vg pizzarias. Add Del Ponte's to that list as their 'Vinny' is so good.

I had the most upsetting and disappointing experience at Pete & Elda's last night. I ordered a…read moredouble extra large pepperoni & onion pizza to be delivered on DoorDash. When I received the order, the pizza was a plain pizza with no toppings. However, the ticket inside the box had my name and what I ordered. So clearly, this was not the Doordasher's mistake, it was the restaurants. I called the restaurant and explained what happened & the manager on the phone Brandon said that in order for me to receive a refund, I'd have to contact DoorDash. I explained I didn't want a refund, I just wanted the pizza that I ordered. He then said I'd have to pick up the new pizza (which I was fine with doing) in 25-30 minutes. When I drove to the restaurant to pick up the new pizza, I'm then told by Brandon that I'd have to pay for the new pizza (which he never stated over the phone) & contact DoorDash for a refund. I explain ONCE AGAIN, that I'm not looking for a refund, I just want the pizza that I ordered. He then explains that it's just their policy & I'd have to pay for the new pie (even though it was their fault I got the wrong order.) Any decent manager or business would give the new pie for free because it was a mistake on their end. I obviously refused to pay for a second pizza & asked to speak to someone else. Then another manager named Joe comes out & basically says the same thing that Brandon says. At this point, I'm very upset because I'm being asked to pay for a mistake that I didn't make. I call my dad & let him know what's happening, & then he drives over with the pizza that was received and the ticket in the box. We then proceed to go back & forth with the managers for around 10 minutes. They completely avoided accountability for their mistake, & instead tried to blame the mistake on the dasher. The manager Joe was saying that "dashers pick up multiple orders at once & could've mixed the pizzas up." Clearly, that's not what happened in this situation, so it felt like they were trying to insult our intelligence. I ONCE AGAIN tell him that the dasher received the correct pizza from the restaurant because the ticket in the box was correct, one of their staff just gave the wrong pizza. I worked in the food industry for many years so I understand how DoorDash works. It's not the Dashers's responsibility to check the box and make sure the pizza is correct as that would be very unsanitary. The responsibility is on the restaurant to give the Dasher the correct order. After me having to drive to their restaurant when I wanted the order delivered initially, then my dad having to drive there to back me up, & us going back & forth with them, they finally decide to give me the pizza without me having to pay a second time (which they should've done in the first place.) Then the manager Joe tries to offer us a credit the next time we decide to go to the restaurant but I told him there was no need for that because we will never go to Pete & Elda's ever again! This whole situation has left such a bad taste in my mouth. I've had an issue before where I received the wrong pizza from Pete & Elda's & they simply remade my order and gave me a new pizza, so I don't understand why they expected me to pay again for food I already paid for through DoorDash! I have lived in Neptune all of my life and my parents have been living here for over 30+ years, & we were frequent customers at Pete & Elda's. We are so upset & disappointed that we can't even bring ourselves to set foot in that restaurant ever again. If they simply gave me the new remade pizza without demanding a second payment, this situation would've never happened. The managers were completely unprofessional and handled this situation HORRIBLY. You guys have lost loyal customers over a pizza that probably cost you $10 to make.

Yesterday I purchased eight brownies for over $30 from this bakery for a birthday celebration at work. At that price point, I expected something fresh, rich, and worthy of being brought to a group. They were noticeably old and completely underwhelming, especially for a bakery that positions itself as a premium spot. If you're charging luxury prices, the product needs to match. The Deets: After dinner in Asbury Park this recent visit, it was decided a visit was needed down to Del Ponte's Bakery along Main St in Bradley Beach. This bakery's huge selection of Italian pastries and sweet treats was almost overwhelming! Multiple display cases of deliciousness awaited us inside the shop, we really took our time to look over all of it before decisions were made. We had basically thought going in that we would nab some fresh biscotti (which of course, we did, in different varieties, all delicious) but also ended up with some other goodies such as crumble cheesecake (so good!), cookies, etc. We feasted well each morning, believe you me. It was on the Friday evening of Labor Day holiday weekend and I think the young staffers there had a long day. We were served well, but from the "Can I help who is next, already?!" for example that was shouted out across the shop full of customers sort of came across as "let's get this done now" but hey, never know what they already had been through that day, right? They gathered up all our choices from case to case when it was our turn and we were pretty pleased with the boxes full of baked goodness as all of it didn't last long. Del Ponte's Bakery is a good stop to make if wanting some sweet treats to take home and enjoy, we are glad we did so.
