I have had several different types of pizza from this place and decided to try a sandwich and boy did I lose. First off, they have tons of different types of pizza like grandma style, Detroit, etc and I always think for a good pie you need to master a certain style. Not all pizzas are created equal, not all the dough is the same. Taking Neapolitan pizza dough and making a thick crust is not a Detroit style pizza. Honestly, the pizza I've had from here is meh and way over hyped. Anyway, the cheesesteaks were disgusting. Ordered a chicken and a regular cheesesteak and got home to take a bite out of the most bitter cheesesteak I've ever eaten. How and why is it so bitter? It was completely blackened and burnt. There's no way the cook didn't see, and promptly packages it up and it was ready to go. Talked to the owner and they were apologetic but agreed that the sandwiches were unacceptable. Never returning to this place, which is sad as I live a mile away.
Honestly, I was hoping this place would be a little bit better but it really was meh for me. It took a while for the two people working there to bother to come up to me to ask what I would like to order. I know they were busy, but it would've been lovely if they could have just shouted out to me that they'd be with me in a minute. I ordered two different slices and they both were OK, but I felt that the tomato sauce was a little sweet. It reminded me of the crappy pizza I've had in other states outside of New Jersey. They seem to have a cool menu and I'd be open to trying other things, but I was hoping that the pizza which is what they are known for it would've been a little better They've got a nice seating area in the front if you want to just grab a slice and eat real quick. Although it seems like most of their patrons are takeout. I've had better pizza in the area, but I'd be willing to give it a try another time
Excellent visit with Tramonto's Operated by a husband and wife team who is friendly and welcoming. Casual seating, plenty of parking on the street are in the lot. Huge selection of pizza by the slice....love this! Terrific Detroit style pizza and an outstanding Cooper sharp cheesesteak. Their French fries are delicious topped with sea salt. Tramonto's has a new customer!
This is one of my favorite pizza places in this area. My husband and I love coming here to get a variety of slices because they have so many different styles available. They make a delicious red sauce here! My favorites are the tri color slice, grandma, detroit, and their Sicilian slices. There are too many good ones to choose! Tramonto's is a must try and worth a drive to go! I highly recommend Tramonto's Pizza in Ocean Township!
When you walk in there are so many pizza choices in the window, but I knew what we wanted. We had been lured here by countless social media posts and I had my heart set on one pizza. But first... We started with an order of Garlic Parmesan wings with their hot peach sauce on the side. Fresh jumbo wings cooked perfectly crisp and juicy on the inside, covered in a generous amount of homemade Garlic Parmesan sauce. And that peach sauce... absolutely dynamite. Do not skip on these wings and save that peach sauce for dipping their sidewinder fries in it. After seeing all the videos we had to try the prime rib cheese steak. We knew we had a pizza coming so we decided ahead of time to split one half and only eat half of the fries. This was no easy task, will power around great food does not play well in my brain. The bread is perfect, the steak was tender and the cheese was melty and gooey. So much flavor, I was so thankful the pizza showed up because that other half was not making it home otherwise. The pizza that called my name and lured me here was the Chicken Vodka Burrata Detroit Style. After seeing so many photos and videos, my expectations were high and this pie far exceeded my expectations. They let their dough ferment for a few days and wow does this make for a delicious airy yet thick deep dish base. The cheese crust was perfect and not oily. They obviously use the best quality mozzarella. Their vodka sauce tastes like vodka sauce not tomato cream sauce. The creamy burrata adds a silkyness that pairs perfectly with this amazing pizza. The chicken... Imagine a chicken crouton that is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. A perfect taste and texture addition to the best Detroit Pizza I've ever had. Seriously folks this pie screams cover me in cheesy goodness and come back tomorrow. And come back tomorrow is exactly what you will want to do. This is not in our backyard but we will start making excuses to drive to the area so we can enjoy this place again and again. Wings, Cheese steak and Pizza, the trinity and they do all 3 perfect. To Lee and Teddy, thank you. It was a pleasure to meet you both and we wish you all the success you deserve. ... Until we eat again
We tried the Trio Pizza. It had red sauce, pesto and vodka sauce. Thin and crunchy with lots of flavor. We also shared a meatball parm hero. The bread was excellent but meatballs to so much and neither was the sauce. Stick with the pizza.
Tramonto's has some seriously delicious food! Highly recommend the Detroit hot honey roni square pie - it's like nothing we've ever had before! The interior is cute, although this is more of a takeout spot/very casual pizzeria. Can't wait to go back and try some of their entrees.
Tramonto's! So happy your location is revamped. When I came here two years ago after my wedding weekend, I got so so so sick from a single slice of plain pizza before getting on a six hour flight to California. It was bizarre. When I moved back into the area recently, I was pleasantly surprised to see you had been under new ownership & the menu was different, & the shop looked cleaner. I've been wanting to try your drunken buratta pizza but I wanted to try out the new menu first before I committed to a pizza. I ordered fried ravioli (super yummy) & and a drunken chicken parm sandwich. The sandwich is huge, like a legit foot long portion. Chicken is nicely seasoned & breaded. Flavors are nice. But this sandwich needs a "drunken vodka sauce" served on the side. It gets too dry alone. I used my fried ravioli sauce to dip my sandwich in. Otherwise, food is delish.
Had never heard of this place and then saw it online. I enjoy detroit style from time to time. The detroit hot roni was nicely done. We got delivery and it came lukewarm which wasn't the best. I did find the crust a little salty but that is sometimes normal with detroit style. The boneless wings are out of a bag so I would skip. Fried oreos were a nice end to the meal. I would reorder.
Friendly service. Mainly a take out place but they have a handful of tables and counter sitting space along the wall. Service was friendly and to the point. Went for slices on a Saturday night, looked kind of thin, and looked like they may have been sitting there for awhile. So we opted for hot subs. Both were good, a wee skimpy on the portion itself outside of the bread. The bread was good and tasty with a crunch. For the buck, I still think skimpy on the portion of what's going on the actual sub.

Tramonto's Pizza is a true gem! From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed with a warm, family-oriented atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The menu is a perfect blend of classic and cutting-edge Italian cuisine, offering something for everyone. The quality of the ingredients truly shines through in every bite. Whether you're indulging in one of their old-school pizzas or exploring their more modern dishes like the Big Mac slice or the Panko fried pasta blocks. you can taste the care and expertise in the preparation. The pizza is nothing short of perfection--crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and the freshest toppings. But the other dishes are just as fantastic, a must try is the OG Philly Cheesesteak !! The variety on the menu means there's always something new to try, and each dish is just as tantalizing as the last. If you're in the mood for high-quality, authentic Italian food in a welcoming setting, Tramonto's Pizza is the place to be. Highly recommended! read more

If I could give this place 10 stars I would!!! The service was incredible and the staff was so kind! They kept checking on us making sure everything was going well even though they were so busy with orders. The food was INSANE, the best vodka sauce I've ever tasted. I was celebrating my birthday and the staff gave me a complimentary box of cookies. Delicious!!!! read more

This is something I wish I didn't have to do but people need to know! We ordered from them since the new owners took over, and we're happy to support a local business with local owners. But on more than a couple of times we ordered only to get burnt, dry pizza. The best is I ALWAYS order EXTRA SAUCE... and if you can dry out a pizza with EXTRA SAUCE you need to do some research on how to make a good pizza! It's VERY disappointing and aggravating when you purposely go pick it up, and go early besides, so you can get it HOT and FRESH. ..we got neither. If you feel the need to order there, I respect your decision, PLEASE do yourself a huge favor and open the box to check the pie before you leave the store, or before the delivery driver leaves your home ! read more
