Tramonto's Pizza was amazing for so many reasons. Not only was the pizza next level, the service was above and beyond. My story - My fiance' and I were in the area for a saltwater fishing trip. We settled into our hotel and needed dinner. We decided on Tramonto's . We had never had their food before but the website looked good and the menu as well.. So we ordered and we used a third party delivery service, not affiliated with these guys, as I found out later. I received a text from the third party delivery person, around the promised time of delivery. The text simply said, " I am here "., but they weren't. I checked the hotel lobby, they weren't there either. I texted the delivery person and said, " Where are you"?. No response.....several more texts....no response. I called the number, which came up as an Alabama number and no one answered. I realized I had been dubbed and my food and generous tip were gone. I was pissed. I called Tramonto's to ask about my order. A lovely woman named, LeeAnna (sp?) answered the phone. I explained my situation to her and she was apologetic as well as sympathetic. She explained to me that the delivery service is a third party and they have no oversite over the food after it leaves their restaurant. She immediately said that she wanted to make it right and 'get us fed"....lol. She called the third party to sort it out while I listened in and the third party had nothing to offer. LeeAnna then offered to remake our order of two pizzas with several toppings,at a discount and get us a total refund (food+fees+ a generous tip) from the awful delivery service. All of this and they were closing in 20 minutes. I arrived 2 minutes before closing and my food was ready and hot. The owner Teddy, LeeAnna's husband shook my hand and apologized several times. Even the staff offered me apologies. They even threw in a brownie and and order of pepperoni garlic knots. So I am not just saying this because they went above and beyond, but because it's true. The pizza was amazing. It was everything I look for in a pizza and believe me, I know my way around some pizzas. The dough was flavorful and cooked perfectly, not soft or too crunchy....perfect. The sauce was bright and the cheese was delicious and the toppings were generous and fresh. And if you do stop in...get....yourself...a....brownie! OMG was that brownie good. They took a very negative situation and made it positive. They made me feel better to know that there are still people in the world that are good and that care. Not only is the food amazing here, the people ten times as amazing . If you are in the Neptune area, you should patronize this business. You will not be disappointed in any way. And....you can call them directly for delivery. Do not use a third party!!!! Thank you, LeeAnna, Teddy, and staff. There aren't many like you. I will see you the next time I'm in town. read more

The pizza was OK. Twp problems: the delivery person rang the bell, put the pizza on the deck and left. Really. The next problem is management or lack thereof: I wrote them about my delivery experience and was ignored. So, OK pizza; shoddy delivery; poor communication. You be the judge. read more

Honestly, I was hoping this place would be a little bit better but it really was meh for me. It took a while for the two people working there to bother to come up to me to ask what I would like to order. I know they were busy, but it would've been lovely if they could have just shouted out to me that they'd be with me in a minute. I ordered two different slices and they both were OK, but I felt that the tomato sauce was a little sweet. It reminded me of the crappy pizza I've had in other states outside of New Jersey. They seem to have a cool menu and I'd be open to trying other things, but I was hoping that the pizza which is what they are known for it would've been a little better They've got a nice seating area in the front if you want to just grab a slice and eat real quick. Although it seems like most of their patrons are takeout. I've had better pizza in the area, but I'd be willing to give it a try another time read more

When you walk in there are so many pizza choices in the window, but I knew what we wanted. We had been lured here by countless social media posts and I had my heart set on one pizza. But first... We started with an order of Garlic Parmesan wings with their hot peach sauce on the side. Fresh jumbo wings cooked perfectly crisp and juicy on the inside, covered in a generous amount of homemade Garlic Parmesan sauce. And that peach sauce... absolutely dynamite. Do not skip on these wings and save that peach sauce for dipping their sidewinder fries in it. After seeing all the videos we had to try the prime rib cheese steak. We knew we had a pizza coming so we decided ahead of time to split one half and only eat half of the fries. This was no easy task, will power around great food does not play well in my brain. The bread is perfect, the steak was tender and the cheese was melty and gooey. So much flavor, I was so thankful the pizza showed up because that other half was not making it home otherwise. The pizza that called my name and lured me here was the Chicken Vodka Burrata Detroit Style. After seeing so many photos and videos, my expectations were high and this pie far exceeded my expectations. They let their dough ferment for a few days and wow does this make for a delicious airy yet thick deep dish base. The cheese crust was perfect and not oily. They obviously use the best quality mozzarella. Their vodka sauce tastes like vodka sauce not tomato cream sauce. The creamy burrata adds a silkyness that pairs perfectly with this amazing pizza. The chicken... Imagine a chicken crouton that is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. A perfect taste and texture addition to the best Detroit Pizza I've ever had. Seriously folks this pie screams cover me in cheesy goodness and come back tomorrow. And come back tomorrow is exactly what you will want to do. This is not in our backyard but we will start making excuses to drive to the area so we can enjoy this place again and again. Wings, Cheese steak and Pizza, the trinity and they do all 3 perfect. There aren't too many pizzerias offering vegan options so I was eager to try Tramonto when I saw that they had several different options. There was a miscommunication when I ordered because I wanted the vegan white with broccoli but instead got a standard pie with vegan cheese, which was delicious and Leigh, the owner felt bad so she gave us a side of broccoli which was also yummy. When I came here two years ago after my wedding weekend, I got so so so sick from a single slice of plain pizza before getting on a six hour flight to California. It was bizarre. When I moved back into the area recently, I was pleasantly surprised to see you had been under new ownership & the menu was different, & the shop looked cleaner. I've been wanting to try your drunken buratta pizza but I wanted to try out the new menu first before I committed to a pizza. I ordered fried ravioli (super yummy) & and a drunken chicken parm sandwich. The sandwich is huge, like a legit foot long portion. Chicken is nicely seasoned & breaded. Flavors are nice. Had never heard of this place and then saw it online. I enjoy detroit style from time to time. The detroit hot roni was nicely done. We got delivery and it came lukewarm which wasn't the best. I did find the crust a little salty but that is sometimes normal with detroit style. The boneless wings are out of a bag so I would skip. Fried oreos were a nice end to the meal. Went for slices on a Saturday night, looked kind of thin, and looked like they may have been sitting there for awhile. So we opted for hot subs. Both were good, a wee skimpy on the portion itself outside of the bread. The bread was good and tasty with a crunch. But on more than a couple of times we ordered only to get burnt, dry pizza. The best is I ALWAYS order EXTRA SAUCE... and if you can dry out a pizza with EXTRA SAUCE you need to do some research on how to make a good pizza! Unfortunate. Food is decent, but the woman handling phone calls is unprofessional. My last experience was to be placed on hold for 5 plus minutes. She forgot to actually put the phone on hold, and so I had to listen to her talk to her coworkers about nothing for 5 minutes. Finally, I hung up and called back, and she and then follows it up by being condescending and pretending she was on the other line. If you're going to place people on hold, let them know that they might be on hold for 5 to 10 minutes so that they can just call another place. It's unfortunate because the food is decent. You just get tired of being treated like they're doing you a favor by allowing you to pay for food there. read more
