My favorite place to get pizza in Long Branch. Their Italian sausage is the best in the area. I usually order the Rockafeller's special. I've never eaten at the establishment although there is plenty of seating. I've ordered from this business for decades. On some occasions the pizza has not been as ordered, but for the most part it has been correct. Perhaps I have ordered when they were busy, but the delivery time usually takes longer than quoted. read more

My husband and I went to Rockafellers on Thursday night and what a delight! Everyone on the staff was so friendly, there was a singer (Lamar) who was so good I thought it was recorded music coming from around the corner. The food here was delicious! There was such a family atmosphere (with some young kids quietly enjoying being out with their parents) but it was great for couples wanting a drink and a good meal too. Never knew this place existed and lived in the area 50 years. My neighbor told me about this place. There is another Rockafeller's in Long Branch near the Butcher Block restaurant. This review is for the Prospect Street location. The neighborhood where they are in is not the best but all good places are in bad areas. I assume it's the owner (has an accent) very down to earth. Another younger guy there with longer hair. Also very personable; both very nice. Sicilian pie best I ever had. Eggplant parm best I ever had, Chicken parm best I ever had. Their fucking salad dressing is even delicious. I highly recommend this place. They know what they are doing. read more

I was very pleased with the service and while I was early for my take out, the dishes i saw being served to the diners looked and smelled fabulous. There was barely any popcorn chicken in the popcorn chicken. Should've just ordered a side of fries. See the photo. Pizza delivered cold and isn't good. Cute family friendly, super casual pizza place with great service. There are two sisters who work here as waitresses and both are awesome. My partner and his daughter had excellent pizza here a few weeks ago. We ordered delivery tonight: pizza, garlic bread, caesar salad with fried calamari, fettuccine alfredo, and several other dishes. First of all, the delivery was made without the pizza. The driver was back in about 5 minutes with it. The pizza was awful. I was hungry, so I ate one small slice, and so did my partner. I asked him if I should wrap the rest or throw it out. He hesitated, and then said wrap it. I will not eat it. The calamari was terrible. I don't know what they used to fry it, but it was just blah. The garlic bread seemed to have been spread with garlic paste. Fettuccine alfredo was largely missing the alfredo sauce. Also, nothing was warm. We haven't yet tried the other entree (ravioli), and a side of meatballs and sausage. I'm not optimistic. It may have just been an off night, but I don't know. It's the first time either one of us even considered throwing out 6 slices of pizza. Would I give the place another chance?? Maybe, in person. Maybe. read more

Regular pizza is delicious. Cheesy, not too greasy, and crisp crust. Sicilian style super fluffy and crunchy on the bottom. I've eaten here a bunch of times because it's right around the corner from where I live so it's convenient. The food quality itself is awful; you can find a lot better in town (La Scarpetta, Luigi's, Scala, etc) but I couldn't beat the convenience. Or so I thought. The last few times I ate here, I got sick but passed it off as my lactose intolerance. However, the last visit explained it so well to me. I was waiting for my order when I saw the owner, a middle-aged man, walking around behind the food counter sneezing. He didn't cover his mouth, he didn't apologize, he didn't make any attempt at even looking like he was sanitary. He was just openly sneezing and not caring. Then he handled someone's food and they ate it shortly after. I walked out at that point because that's beyond disgusting, and cleared up any confusion as to why I was getting sick. Then there's also the matter of the owner's horrible attitude. Seriously, just because you have breadsticks and some marinara sauce doesn't give you the right to act like you're some tough guy mafioso clown. If you still decide to visit this hellhole, bring cash because he hates credit cards, no matter the amount. And sanitary napkins. And lots of Imodium because you'll most likely get sick off his food, which tastes like garbage with a heaping side of snot and boogers. read more

It honestly taste like somebody just dipped the spaghetti in butter and then just dumped a can of sauce on it. Well, half a can, cause the noodles are so dry. I grew up in Long Branch and my family has been getting pizza hear for years. The owner is so friendly he practically knows every customers name and does an amazing job making people feel welcome! The place has an awesome locals vibe. You can order for delivery, sit down and chat with other customers and staff or ask for more private seating in the back room which can be booked for small parties. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious and authentic and there is plenty to choose from on the menu. Love this place! read more
