Best drinks ! Always some innovative Lattes, machas ! Both Quality and presentation . Enjoy those pictures! Beautiful cosy atmosphere, great service .
The most nastiest cold brew I have ever had! taste old! Yuck! The service here is horrible. The women in the front has no customer service! Very mean, rude person. They do not do refunds or exchanges BTW! will not be coming here! They do nothing to make you want to come back terrible terrible customer service
Cute little cafe! It tends to get full pretty easily but good service. Simple food options. Adorable bear-shaped iced coffee! Parking is quite difficult but that's the norm in Ridgewood
Went in for the first time, service was good despite them not having one of the menu items I wanted. Hot chai was good I felt that it was the perfect amount of chai. Burrata Toast was good although had way too much pesto which I'm sure you could ask to accommodate. The toast was also way too hard but maybe something that can also be advised to toast less. It is a big meal , you will enjoy it. Seating can be challenging despite having gone on a weekday.
The decor and atmosphere in this place was super vibey! The coffee art on my latte and the way the avocado toast was laid out on the plate were both really cute too, but overall this place is eh. The toast was a bit stale and I didn't really appreciate that the only food menu they seemed to have was the one menu up by where customers order despite there being 7-8 tables where people were sitting. There's another Rey Sol in Morristown I might try, but as far as this location I don't think I'll be back!
Colombian coffee at its best! Great ambiance, delicious Pan de Bono, very friendly staff - will come again for sure!
Cute little coffee shop in Ridgewood with street parking. Lots of yummy treats, a few savory items and of course...coffee and tea. I got an iced Americano and a beef empanada. The empanada was Colombian style, but I was disappointed it didn't come with a sauce. It also wasn't extremely flavorful. My drink was good, but I didn't see any coffee infused ice cubes, as they advertise. Overall nice shop to sit in or for grab and go.
Very good coffee and chocolate chip muffin as truly excellent. Very small interior. Service was friendly. We went out on a limb to get the $14 s'mores latte that came in a smoke chamber but really wasn't worth the $14. Will be back though for everything else
Been wanting to go here for years and finally got the opportunity! It was very busy on the weekend and the place does not offer a lot of seating or call/online reservations so just be mindful of that or check in and make a reservation in person for a table first and come back later. Their iced coffee is something I highly recommend. I added dulce de leche syrup for flavour. The blend was very delicious and the iced bear was a cute touch Cosmo and Wanda was good but you need to drink it fast otherwise it'll just turn into matcha milk. I would rather get iced lattes here. The avocado toast was really good especially with the poached egg. I tried their beef empanadas and pan de bollo and both were very delicious. If you want to make the trip, you should. It's a cute town and even on a Sunday we found other things to do.
$14 specialty s'mores latte... sure, I'll try it. The sign said "limited quantity daily" so I'm thinking homemade marshmallows, some sort of limited edition something.... False. What I got was a $14 small cappuccino with no flavor at all, and a store bought marshmallow on the side with a hint of blow torch char. They pass it through a smoke box for some pomp and circumstance, but all in all, it was $10 too much for a bad coffee. Could I assume it was a fluke? Maybe... except for the sign that loosely translates to "many people have this issue and we don't care". Absolutely not worth the hype with so many other amazing shops in town.

Good coffee and cute little cafe. A bit overpriced imo but that's honestly fine if we didn't have a weird experience with the staff. Went in a group of 6 and waited our turn to put 2 tables together because we all got food and a drink. We were waiting for about 15 minutes once we all got what we ordered and started it eat. About 5 minutes later a waitress came up to us telling us the table was reserved and we needed to leave within the next ten minutes. This was weird because there were multiple tables who have been there longer than us and some who had even finished eating. There was sign saying you can only sit for an hour which was completely understandable. We all felt their actions were rude and frankly a cafe with few seating options should not allow reservations. We ended up leaving after 10 minutes when we were all done eating but I thought this interaction was ridiculous. But on a better note, someone let us hold their puppy! read more

I'm always in search of a cute cozy coffee shop and this one hit the spot. It's small and easy to miss as it sits nestled amongst other storefronts. Inside it is cozy, clean and vibrant. The coffee shop has Colombian influence that roast their own beans right in the front of the coffee shop. The roaster was sitting in the front and doing its thing which was nice to see. I always appreciate a spot that roasts their own beans. I had a cortado which was really good and strong just the way I like it. The shop has menu of foods and pastries which includes Colombian pastries as well. I opted for an avocado toast with smoked salmon which was very good. It was on thick toast with a poached egg. I would Definitely return and try some Of the Pastries as well purchase some beans. read more

I wanted brunch after a night shift and convinced my fiancé to go with me to this little cafe. We went on a Friday morning around noon and it was quite busy. So busy that they missed my drink order and I had to go back and ask the barista about it (they quickly made my drink afterwards and were very sweet). Also, I didn't know this, but the cafe works similarly to a Starbucks. You order at the front kiosk then find your own seating in the cafe where you wait for your drink to be made. The seating is quite limited as the space is on the small side. Despite this, the cafe itself feels quite cozy and the decor is very aesthetically pleasing. The food is honestly very very good. We ordered a drink and pan de bono for each of us and an alto del ray. I would definitely come back to take out a drink and pan de bono once a week if I could. The alto del ray is also my new favorite way to have poached eggs. I loved it and I've never seen it offered in any other brunch spot I've been to. My fiancé on the other hand doesn't enjoy avocados so he didn't like it much. I'll also add that the alto del ray was surprisingly filling despite its small size. Overall a small little cafe with an equally small menu with amazing food and a small sitting space. Parking can also get tough (everything is metered). I only suggest it for casual meetups for up to 4 people max. If anything, takeout and eating in the park is also a really good option. If this was a spot on the way to work, I'd probably stop by for a coffee at least once a week. read more
I really loved the aesthetic and the wonderfully friendly staff, but unfortunately the coffee tasted just mediocre for me. I ordered the moccachino and my boyfriend ordered a latte; the espresso didn't come through in either of the drinks and sadly tasted a bit watered down. We actually came hoping to try the seasonal smoked latte or the hot chocolate with marshmallows, but both were sold out when we arrived. Desserts on the other hand were pretty good - I've never had tres leches with a strawberry layer in it, and it was an interesting twist. The maracuyo passionfruit mousse was also tasty, which had just the right balance of sweetness and tartness. read more

I've had this coffee shop on my list for a while and finally visited. They had so many great options and I ordered my usually caramel latte with oat milk. The coffee was delicious. Not sure of the exact coffee beans but their coffee is strong and flavorful. They also serve food and desserts such as affogatos (which is on my list of items to try next time). Location is right downtown Ridgewood and street meter parking is available. read more

This place was decorated by a someone with really good taste! It's a treat to sit in here and enjoy a cup of coffee but just don't plan on sitting too long cause there's a 1 hour sit down time due to them being a small cafe. Can't argue with that. It's pretty nice still. I got a 16oz caramel macchiato and an ice cream - $14. I thoroughly loved this place Even the bathrooms were freaking nice read more
This place is amazing !!! If I could give this place 100 stars I would. The food is delicious and the coffee is divine. The decor is beautiful. It's the perfect coffee house to catch up with friends. I ordered the iced campesino and ice chai latte. Both were SOOO good. The coffee used is just so tasty. My friend and I both ordered the Alto de Rey which is 2 mini arepas with sausage and poached eggs. Hands down the best meal I've had in forever. read more

Rey Sol Coffee was absolutely delightful. There was a bit of a wait because of how popular they are so just keep that in mind. Rey Sol is an outstanding Colombian cafe. Their coffee and food are so tasty. While waiting, I ordered their Pumpkin Autumn Chai Latte which was a perfect fall drink! Once we got seated, for breakfast I ordered the Alto Del Rey which included two mini arepas topped with chorizo, guacamole, poached eggs, hollandaise sauce & rainbow microgreens. It was huge and you can definitely share with a friend. The arepas were so soft and tasty. The chorizo was well flavored. We also ordered the Sweet Wafflebono which was a perfect sweet complimentary to the other savory dish. We couldn't hold back and ordered another coffee once we saw how cute their drinks are in-house! We ordered a latte I believe that came with these adorable bear ice cubes! I've never seen that before. Their smores latte looked amazing but we were so stuffed we couldn't order anymore. I would 100% come back! Please support this local business, they cook with heart and everything about this place is so unique. read more

This cute little local spot is amazing! We stopped in to get some coffee and enjoyed every bit. The vanilla latte is delicious and my boyfriend said the Americano was just as good. Everything looks fresh and the coffee is made to order and hot. The staff is friendly and the vibes are good! Come visit this cute spot! read more
Such a cute little coffee spot. Its perfect for working quietly or meeting a friend. It definitely gets packed on a weekend but its quick service and worth the wait. I had a pumpkin latte and totally loved it. Big cup, solid espresso, and forward pumpkin flavor, but not fake or overly sweet. We also tried the apple cider and it was so good. Light, crisp and refreshing, with a hint of cinnamon. For a snack, we tried the homemade chicken and beef empanadas. Make sure you get their salsa to accompany it because its so addicting, and a perfect addition to each bite. Can't wait to go back! read more

Food service was great. Coffee were amazing. I had arrived early enough before a crowd and since we chose the single green couches the bartender was so thoughtful to pull for us an end-table and brought our lattes and treats. The only thing why I would give it a 4 is the music, once they started playing -it was so loud we had to raise our voices to talk to each other. read more
We had the alto del rey, which was two mini arepas topped with guacamole, chorizo, poached egg and hollandaise sauce. This was delicious, everything was seasoned perfectly. I ordered a latte coffee and my friend order a regular coffee with milk, very good and the coffee is really strong. They have substitutions for milk too. Food is pricey but its worth it. read more

Cute little Colombian inspired cafe in Ridgewood. The food tasted as good (if not better) than it looks in pictures and was decorated with delicate floral touches along with the garden like ambiance which really made the place feel cozy and chic, and hard to leave. The coffee was also high quality and prepared well. We had a latte, passion fruit lemonade, and two avocado toasts with lox- all super tasty and filling. We also had a guava pastry which was light, flaky, and satiating. I saw a guest order the burrata salad and it was a visual masterpiece- will try that next time. Looking forward to returning! I also liked that they offered complementary infused fruit water for guests (self serve). My only constructive feedback is that I wish the temperature indoors where we sat was a bit cooler (we went on a hot day) and it would have felt more comfortable indoors if it wasn't so hot. read more

Wow, what a coffee shop! I've had Rey Sol on my radar for a while now and just this weekend had a chance to stop by for coffee and pastries. It was a beautiful Sunday so we decided to sit outside. My friend ordered a nitro and I went with an iced chai latte. The Nitro brew is great for people who love the taste of coffee and need a pick me up. Usually I'm hesitant to order chai lattes because I don't know what I'm going to get. Rey Sol has the perfect blend. It's not too sweet and not too bland. We also decided to order a Guava Chicharron with our drinks. It came out warm and the guava jam was spectacular. It has a tarty, sweet taste. Definitely a good amount to share. I can't wait to come back and try some of their entrees! To add, I love that the menu is short and concise. I don't have to think too much about what I'm going to order next! read more
This place is great! Very clean, open, with nice plant's & decor. The food was fantastic packed with flavor. Best of all it tasted fresh. The coffee we ordered was top tier as well. The service was fast and everyone was attentive. We made a reservation online and the table was already reserved for us. Highly recommend, will 100% be back! read more

I had business at the Village of Ridgewood municipal office, so I needed to find a quick and delicious breakfast nearby, and the clerk recommended Rey Sol. I'm glad I followed her suggestion, because this place was delicious! They roast their own coffee in-house, so it's super fresh and delicious. All of the food is fresh made. The avocado toast featured a perfectly poached egg, pickled onions, and a balsamic reduction, which were all superb additions. My colleague chose a create your own breakfast panini that was also fresh and tasty. There are a small amount of tables inside but we were still able to sit, and everything was made quickly as well. If I'm ever in the area, I will definitely go back. read more

Imagine you are in a teen movie. You are walking into the nearest cafe. Baristas pouring coffee into ice molds, complimentary fruit water, and beautiful ambiance. I came here for birthday breakfast and let me tell you I am in awe. The Campesino is the best coffee I have ever had in my life. Pricey? Yes. Worth it? At least once in your lifetime. The avocado toast has to be the highest calorie breakfast I ever had, but it was absolutely amazing. I would give this place five stars except the price tag is a bit of a roadblock. Additionally, do not get the french toast; my sister LOVES sugar but this was just not it. I recommend for a once in a while photo opportunity. Super sad my ice cube never melted though. Bring a blow dryer to savor that coffee ice read more

Passed by this cafe. We saw people ordering in a counter, so we walked in and ordered coffee and bakery. Ordered: Corn bread with cheese on top- corn bread was special and unique. Good texture but not match with the cheese. The cheese is $1 additional. Passion fruit moose- I forgot the name of the dessert. Not a fan of this dessert. I love passion fruit flavor but this is not good. Latte- coffee is ok. The counter staff told us that we couldn't walk in when we saw an empty table. They said we need a reservation. Okay. And the other couple came in who just walked in but they can just sit down. I am confused. But whatever, we just stood in a corner and finished our snack. The cafe inside is cute but I won't come back. read more

I finally came to this beautifully quaint cafe. Loved it so much that I came back the very next day! The moment you walk in, you're greeted by the lovely staff and hostess. As I was seated, I soaked in all of the beauty this cafe has to offer. From the feel of a coffee factory(they roast their beans in front of the store), down to the elegant greenery decor. Very cozy and chic. I ordered, on my 1st trip, the macchiato with the breakfast sandwich(egg, mozzarella and chorizo). From the moment it was being served, I was drooling as the aroma of the sandwich was heavenly. As I took my first bite I was blown away with the flavor of the most simplest ingredients. The aioli was a great touch. The next day I came back with my kids. Ordered the 16oz hot chocolate s'mores. The waitress was very considerate and asked if I would like to split it into two as 16oz was too much for 1 child. I thought to myself "how wonderful". I then ordered the choripan sandwich. I was once again pleasantly delighted with the taste of the sandwich that I ate the whole thing by myself- didn't share at all. By far a lunch favorite! I cannot wait to come back. The staff are professional, friendly and welcoming. The ambiance is cozy and the food is absolutely fresh and well worth it. Oh, and as an added plus, the accept reservations via open table. read more
Such a cute coffee place!! The inside was small so if you go at a busy time you may not find a seat. However, all of our coffees had a lot of effort put into them. The s'mores latte was expensive ($14!!) but it was presented in a box filled with smoke. The dulce de leche was salty but also sweet so very yummy! Glad I checked this place out. read more
Really nice spot, very european but super pricey so keep that in mind. Many coffee and small brunch & breakfast items as options. We usually stop here for coffee and a quick bite before hikes. You order at front and sit, there is no serving. Small place and mostly for take out. read more
