I went to the same hairstylist when I lived in Florida for all 7 years I was there. I've been in Colorado now 4 years and just now found my perfect stylist. I read the amazing reviews for the salon and for Paul and am so glad I booked. I wanted to go platinum blonde from the dark blonde/brown I was. I came in with a mix of previously highlighted hair and box dye and Paul was able to create magic. He was up front about the risks and what would be needed on my end to maintain healthy hair once bleached, but still gave me the confidence that he could do it. And he was right! He took his time and was meticulous about not bleaching the strands that were previously highlighted and gave me an amazing deep condition. My hair actually feels healthier than before somehow. Long story short, he is the first stylist to really listen to me and what I want. He achieved it without compromising my hair. I'm just so relieved to finally find my stylist and salon. Alex made me feel like a snaackkkkk with the way she made my hair look. I had a partial highlight that she did. Scheduling with her was very easy and their prices are reasonable. The salon is cute and modern and they do have free parking in the back with cameras. I was a little bit skeptical on going to a salon on Colfax but looks like this is the only place I will be going to from now on. Alex gave a wonderful head scalp massage while the toner was setting in. I wish I can get my hair done there every week. Paul is my guy!! This salon is the best in town! Whenever I would go to one of those chain hair cutting places (shudder!!) I never left really liking the outcome. I stopped in Revolution Salon because they had good reviews and was able to get an appt with Aimee. I am very picky when it comes to my hair and was pretty nervous about trying someone new. Let me tell you, I really wish I lived in Denver because I would get on her schedule every 2 months. She did an AMAZING job and the time seemed to fly by. I just had the best hair styling experience of any salon I've ever been to! MollyAnn was incredible! She taught me so much about my hair and so many easy ways to style it as a mom with three kids! When I heard my hair stylist (who I would follow anywhere) was moving to a new salon - there was NO question I'd be a new client at Revolution Salon, where Dana continues to be my hair color-cut goddess. I had been seeing Dana for years, and got to know a co-worker of hers, and was elated to learn this co-worker was opening Revolution Salon and taking Dana. Marco - the owner, didn't just open a salon - he opened a gathering place for the neighborhood that is sleek and modern but not pretentious. Revolution Salon is also very clean, affordable, and very inviting. The salon is conveniently located on East Colfax, and there is plenty of free street parking on Colfax or free parking on any of the adjacent side streets. They also take in walk ins and are open in the evening, and Saturday. Revolution Salon always has the juicy gossip magazines, and decorating magazines. Marco, or any of the stylists, will always ask if you'd like water or wine - which is awesome! They also do consultations in case you are hesitant about any hair treatment or cut/color, and they are very knowledgeable on the products they have for sale - but they NEVER push them on you like a salesperson would.
