Finding the salon and parking are both easy. When you walk through the door, the space is warm, open, and inviting. All around comfortable. And the process of getting your haircut is as unique and white-glove as you'll find anywhere. Even better than upscale boutique places in cities like LA. I won't spoil it by getting into the details; it's best you experience it for yourself. Denver is very privileged to have such an elite service available.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel others should be aware of my experience…read more I paid for a consult with Nikki the owner and we decided on low lights and a haircut. i was contacted by the salon and asked to reschedule my appointment to a day that was better for Nikki, at which time i was quoted a significantly lower amount than what I was ultimately charged. My final bill was around $700--roughly double what I had been told over the phone. After I contacted the owner about the discrepancy, I was refunded $150, but I still paid far more than I expected. Unfortunately, the service itself did not meet my expectations. To make matters worse, during my appointment, one of my expensive earrings went missing. Despite bringing this to the salon's attention immediately, I was not reimbursed for the lost earring, and the owner has since stopped responding to my calls and messages about the situation. The combination of being charged much more than quoted, receiving disappointing service, losing a valuable personal item, and then having difficulty getting a response afterward has been extremely frustrating. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this salon.

I don't want to post this. I'm still left reeling at how terrible my hair looks after my visit with…read moreThanh on Saturday. Word to the wise: They are NOT colorists. My request was simple: CHUNKY balayage. CHUNKYYYY. I had pictures to show what I wanted. Mostly warm highlights with some cool sprinkled in. I also asked to add texture to my hair but keep the length (it was below my bra line). Nope... goodbye 6 inches I didn't ask to lose (now it's just below my shoulders). I had THICK voluminous hair, and now it's like I have the Rachel haircut. They foiled my hair to death and I ended up almost platinum blonde when the foils came out, and then to add insult to injury, you could clearly see the lines where the highlights began where it looks almost burnt at the edges?? We went back in for another TWO hours to make it warmer, but by that time my hair was fried, and now I have a bald spot I didn't have before. He offered to fix it in another few weeks after my hair has had time to settle, but I'm never letting anyone there touch my head again. I'm too nice of a person and still managed to crack a semi smile when it was finally done, but now I'm left with tears and silent screaming to hold back my utter horror at what they left me with. If you didn't get the memo: I don't recommend them. Even after everything, he still had the audacity to charge me $250 (discounted) and said I didn't need to leave a tip. Umm, thanks? God only knows how long this is going to take to fix... Should've gone to Fluff Bar. Thanh, you should've comp'd it and ask I not leave a bad review, which I totally would've said yes to not doing. Lesson learned? Was the juice really worth the squeeze? Looks like I'm not the only one who's had this happen to them? Ladies or gents: If you want balayage or any kind of coloring service, do NOT go here. This is NOT their specialty. Run. UPDATE: Went to a highly reviewed salon a few days after my visit with Vo where I had two pros look at my hair to assess the situation (and probability of me somehow getting what I originally wanted), and both agreed that what Vo did to my hair was "pretty bad" and unprofessional. All I heard, as they were slowly combing and lifting through my hair, were soft whispers and gasps of horror with the occasional, "Girl look at this... omg..." After hearing what they could do to fix the mess Vo left me with (weeks of painstaking piece meal work and god-knows-how-much-money) I ultimately decided to have them take me back to my original brown so I could start over from square one. THAT'S how bad it was. All that time and money just to go back to brown and have my hair be short and thin instead of long and thick. God I could scream. I appreciate you offering to fix the mess you left me with, Thanh, but no thanks. I would much rather you spend the time you would've taken on fixing my hair to spending it on some coloring courses instead. Just because you own a salon doesn't mean you've mastered the art of hair. The other guy whom you trained on the fly with me has a lot of learning to do also. I could tell he didn't know what he was doing and yet you still let him touch my hair while you juggled two other clients. Unacceptable service. On top of that, neither you or the other guy ever made small talk with me, which I've never experienced at a salon in all my life. Like, not a single word or question about my day or even my name. Even if you guys had done a great job, I still wouldn't have come back due to that alone. K I'm done. Lesson learned I hope. Best of luck to you.

The right side is a quarter of an inch shorter than the left. The blend is horrific. She told me she'd fix it but that meant she would have to keep cutting it shorter. And unless you are getting a bad cut repaired from a previous stylist, you shouldn't have to verbalize the need to "fix it". When I put my glasses on, the right side sticks straight out because it's so short! This was the OWNER! I would have been better off going to Great Clips. Please, if you the owner is reading this, never cut curly hair dry. It's basic science that is taught in Cosmetology School. How can you adjust for the shrinking of curls if you don't care how the hair curls? She told me she always cuts curly hair dry. Stay away especially if your hair is curly. All I can do is wait for it to grow out and go see a professional. By the way, I did graduate from cosmetology many years ago even though I'm not currently licensed, I was licensed at one point and I know how a proper stylist should go about cutting hair. She supposedly has another shop in Oklahoma. I wouldn't dip my foot in there, either. I'm at least thankful my hair grows fast. Again. Beware. At least she didn't charge me. And for those of you that think I should have said something, I did from the time she started until I had enough and jumped out of the chair. She kept trying to justify what she was doing, but she couldn't. I forgot to mention, she cut between the curl because she had no concept of where it curled so now even on the longer side it sticks straight out. I'm sooo angry. And, I'm going out of town looking like this! Starting to ramble, now. Just know you should really stay away.
