I visited this place around midnight on a Thursday night, which is R&B night, with friends. One of them found this place and we hoped it would be a good time. Upon arrival, we had to pay $20 to self park on the PUBLIC street, which seems very scammy... That made no sense at all. They have a lot. I can see them charging for that. At the entrance, there was no wait. There was a license check and a very thorough pat down. The music was good music that I enjoyed, which could be heard by the steps. Inside, it was dark and not busy at all. The floors were sticky EVERYWHERE. With it not being busy, it should be that way. There was a bar stool sitting area to the right of the bar. The tabletop was wooden and it was also sticky. This shows lack of cleanliness. The food and drinks are EXPENSIVE! Expect to pay no less than $20 for one drink. The food menu prices were outrageous. I advise eating before you go or after, unless you have expendable income.. if so, ball out lol. For it to be R&B night, I would've expected more of 90s R&B, but it wasn't. It wasn't the best vibes and just dead. When we left shortly before 1am, more people were coming. I don't recommend and I wouldn't return. You'll, unnecessarily, spend a lot of money here. I went alone celebrating myself on my recovery having spinal cord and sacroidosis. I came with a cane. There was no seating for anyone with special needs. NOT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE. I found a random chair at the bar. I actually had decent time with Monie my bartender but when it was time to leave it went LEFT. I kept asking how did I leave and people sent me around the club. So much so that my legs gave out and I ended up on the ground. The waitresses and staff literally walked over me while I was on the ground. THE SECURITY WAS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. SHAME ON YOU AND YOUR FUNKY AHHH NIGHTCLUB. I WILL NOT BE BACK EVER AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I ordered two drinks then asked for the check. I was handed the device to pay and noticed it was more than I expected. I asked for the itemized receipt and the bartender said she couldn't, I kept asking and she said she'd have to get the manager. I said sure, get the manager. I hated the set up kind of like when you don't have a section it's nothing to do because all Your doing is walking around the sections. Maybe a different set up would have been better. Got to this place at about 10:30pm last week Saturday to celebrate a friend's birthday and the place still wasn't open. Mind you doors were supposed to open at 10pm and it was supposed to be free before 11pm. So we asked what if we have tickets to get in free before 11pm, they said you can still use them. However, when we got to the register the girl said some of the tickets weren't valid because they were ordered after 10pm. We were like but y'all weren't even open yet. Plus everyone knows eventbright has a feature that allows you to cut off the time to retrieve tickets. That feature was clearly not on, why was that our fault. Revel is a new dance and nightclub opened in midtown area located at address 1778 Ellsworth Industrial Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318. Beautiful establishment night club or function spot. I thoroughly enjoyed myself for the most part. Beautiful place, great music, strong drinks and good security. There is some street parking available in front of the club and they do have a private lot for a charge. No smoking inside, but there is an outdoor smoking patio. No matter what age, ethnic background, or social category you identify with, this is a spot you do want to try once. The bathrooms are kept clean, even though little outdated and the bathroom assistant has everything. You can usually get in free before midnight ladies, sometimes free for men before 11 PM gents. The sections allow you space to eat, do hookah, and enjoy the club scene without sore feet. The DJ had a nice selection. The bartender did a great job with my drinks. This club is a great urban spot with nice decor and plenty of room. read more

Went here with a group of friends and had a ball! The atmosphere is nice. Theres not a large amount of space but it's still cool. The food and drinks were good. As well as pretty good service. We went on a Friday night and it was raining so there weren't a lot of people there. My only complaint is that we got there within the time it said they were open but was not allowed to come in. We were told to go back to our car and they would let us know when we could come in because the DJ was not set up yet. Other than that I would go back again if I was with friends. read more

We are so Thirsty in this city for a good time that we will accept anything. I've been here a few times all bad experiences. The last time they tried to charge me $100 for Hookah the reason for the dumb price she said she would have to put it up on a table‍..... The Waitress staff as far as at the bar is cool if you don't ask for a drink that requires more than two ingredients. Just had new years here and the tiles are ridiculously slippery, I fell and partially dislocated my knee(born with floating patellas so its not like I can help it) and some jack hole was filming me. Went last night and stood in line for 30 mins with 10 people in front of me. They were letting 2 people in at a time with the line getting longer and longer. By the time we got to the front we stood there another 5 mins so people who were willing to pay $100 each could go in. 4 people walked out the club in that time and we still had to wait. Once we got to the register we were told it was 12:07am and we then had to pay 40 dollars so my friend went inside to get some cash and when he returned he was told that it was 40 dollars each. This is a nice venue. Right off Ellisworth Indus... you could miss it because it's blended within the area. I was in attendance For Courvoisier's In Gathering of the SuperBowl LLI event. Dope set up in the front for the heat lamps, and cool orange lighting in the entrance way. Once I got inside there were three different bar areas for patrons to chose from. My friends and I had drink tickets on our wristbands and those took care of our drinks the rest of the night. I def enjoyed myself here and would come back! The only slight I would say is that the event started at 9pm. We got there slightly after 9:15 and the line was terrible all the way to the back of the venue. It took about 1.5 hours to get in, but that is to be expected during a major SB weekend lol. All in all, this promoter did they thang! This place is a scam. They advertise free entry before but when you get in they say it's a party or some bull. My boyfriend end up paying because I was ready to go from the false advertising. They tried to charge over $600 for a booth. The drinks at the bar was overpriced. The bartender then told us we could sit anywhere until someone who brought a booth came to claim it. The music and drinks were good. That's the only reason I gave it a 2. They need to have better promotion, if they do decide to charge people. I left in 30 minutes. read more

I visited this place for the first time a couple days ago for a live music treat! Great show! Love the venue! Very nice! Pros: In the city so not that far of a drive. French Fries were good. Spacious venue. Cons: Drinks were overpriced and not good. Food was meh...The calamari had an unpleasant odor coming from them. I attempted to try one and they tasted like they smelled (bad). My friends and I found out about this club on instagram, it seemed like it would've been a good time. When we arrived there was a red carpet laid out by the door so we asked the busser what the occasion was and he replied "it's just a regular Friday."We all payed the $20 cover, there were six of us, as soon as we walked in we felt out of place. The DJ was playing old school jamz and there wasn't anyone close to our age in sight. We found out it was "old skool night" moments after. So we came to Atlanta for a few days and wanted to get out of the hotel for a little while. Someone in the lobby told us about this place so we went online and got some tickets (free before 11:00 pm) We were told that doors open at 9:00 pm so we got an Uber and got there around 9:30. We were told that they serve food so we were going to eat before we started partying. When we arrived, we were told that they were still setting up and should be ready by 10:00. They didn't open the doors until 11:30!!! We were told that they would honor our tickets so we attempted to go inside. I was stopped by a security guard who told me that since I was wearing backless shoes, I would have to pay $20! At 5his point I was starving so had no problem paying. I attempted to hand it to the woman collecting the money. The "security guard" grabbed the $20, put it in his pocket, and walked away!! I was shocked! I walked into the club dumbfounded. We entered the seating area, found a seat, and soon a server came over. She took our food and drink order (it came to over $120 which was not an issue). She soon returned with our drinks. Seconds after receiving our drinks, another "security guard" came over and told us that we had not purchased the seating area and we would have to move. Not a problem, we simply asked him where could we sit. He suggested that we stand at the bar and eat! I asked him if I understood him correctly as there was NO ONE SITTING AT ANY OF THE TABLES!! He repeated what he said and I asked if ALL of the tables had been purchased. He said no so I was even more confused. At this point, we were so pissed off, we just left! We would have easily spent $300-$500 that night, but instead we only spent $20 (because security didn't like my shoes)! I have been to many clubs/lounges all over the US and Europe and have NEVER experienced anything even remotely this ghetto! Don't waste your time at this place unless you like waiting around for hours until they decide to open and being told that you must stand and eat even though there are SEVERAL OPEN TABLES! The hookah girls were fast and awesome, got Unlimited hookah for $60, bottle service took forever. We were in the spot for 45 minutes before we got our 8 bottles but they brought them out in style!
