Had a number of issues with my laptop where programs were not acting correctly. It ended up being a rather intensive virus (badini back door virus). Computer was returned to me in a week good as new. I plan on using them again if I have any issues. That said, there were some small concerns that prevented me from giving them 5 stars. I felt Greg (person who repaired the computer) was fantastic. Great customer service, very friendly and responsive, good at explaining what he was going to do and what he thought the issues were. Yven (first person I spoke to) contacted me numerous times via text message, usually for confirmation of what was going on after things had already occurred (do i want the laptop fixed, am i on my way, etc). I wouldn't have had an issue with this except that I got the same questions repeatedly, and given the frequency it was frustrating. This is really the only reason I didn't give 5 stars despite other problems listed below which I feel were minor. When I first spoke to Yven I mentioned that I was going to be coming in later in the day. He had asked me to call him before coming. I left my apartment and headed to the address listed on the website and called on the way. In transit I was told not to go to the address on the website and was given a different address instead. The address given to me was a personal home. This through me off a bit as I was expecting a building, but I don't think it's uncommon. That said, I'm still not sure why the address was different from what was posted. They may have had a good reason (e.g., changing buildings etc), but regardless, I suggest verifying where your supposed to go before making plans. The last issue was pricing. I was originally expecting to pay the price on the website listed when Greg found the virus. Greg then informed me that they had a special on virus removal that week so I'd be paying less. Awesome. I also mentioned I didn't want to have a ton of work done on the laptop that would cost a fortune if the virus turned out not to be causing the problem (old laptop, cheaper to buy a new one). I was assured it would not go above the price he was quoting me for unless new parts were needed. When Yven then got in touch with me later the price was increased to the average of what I was quoted and the price on the site. No reason was given for this. End result was that I was still paying less than quoted on the site for virus removal for what was a lot of work. To get rid of the virus (which was embedded in windows) the computer was wiped clean and restored with my old files transferred over. I thought they did an excellent job and would use them again if i run into any problems. read more

I called these guys to find out about virus removal and they were the most affordable of all places in dc. I was skeptical because I saw 1 star bad review but I was smart, I googled them and saw they had 5 stars across the web. I scheduled a day and time to bring my laptop to their place. I was welcomed by a very tall giant he was pleasant and greeted me with a hand shake and smile. Their virus removal is substantially cheaper than anywhere else, $79 and not only they remove the virus but also install a virus removal program like free avg. But if you need a paid anti-virus software just purchase it and they will install it at no cost. I dropped off my computer and got it back the same day, they also opened my computer and blew all the dust off the heat-sink and motherboard free of charge, also optimized my computer and made it load faster. They never added a new price or tried to get money out of me like other places!!! I have used other places but my experience was much more pleasant and comfortable here. I will sure come back if I need computer related repairs or my cell phone repaired in the future. I met the owner through Craigslist to sit my dog tom. He was a very nice guy, professional and very caring. He stated he has a company and repairs computers and cell phones. I enjoyed having him watch my boxer tom, He cleaned my house and cared bout Tom as well. I had to give him a chance to repair my Mac book pro 2010, it was overheating and the mouse pad wasn't working. I also dropped my iPhone 5s of a table at work and it cracked my phone screen. After seeing a 1 star review I had to think to myself, why are there bitter people in this world? Why make up a story to make someone look bad? Zeid is a great, loving, and very humble guy. So I had him fix my Mac and my iPhone 5s, in less than 4 days I got my laptop and my phone back to new condition. I was going to toss my laptop and get a new one but He blew the dust out and fixed my trackball mouse pad. Also my phone was brand new again. All in less than $150.00, I thought i was going to pay over $200. I was extremely happy. You gotta give him a chance and try him out. Him and his techs are fast, reliable and do quality work. I will forever contact him if I need pet sitting when I go out of town and electronic repair. Great place to repair your computers and cell phones. I found these guys at silver spring metro station. I brought my Toshiba Satelite to them for repair couple weeks ago and my iPhone 5 which also had a cracked LCD due to being dropped of a table by accident. I called several computer shops and all were expensive. Geek squad quoted me at $250 for my laptop and $140 for my iPhone, geek on site said it was $300 total for both my laptop and phone, and ubreakifix said it was $320 for both. I called this place and they quoted me at $120 for my laptop LCD and $80 for my iPhone. I brought my computer and iPhone in and told me they had to order the part and it will take 4 days till they get the part in and will text me once it arrived, and 4 days later i got a text it was installed and ready for pick up. My iPhone was also fixed. I was very happy and when i came by, Zeid showed me it was fixed and like new condition. I highly recommend this place for its service and affordable prices. They also cleaned my computer which was full of dust and showed me 1 on 1 attention for my laptop. I don't think any computer shop will offer a service for free. I called this place to see if they repair Macs. The person who answered was professional and polite. I explained I need a bigger HD on my MacBook Pro and he stated the price for the part and the labor. I'd tell you this is the most affordable bargain I ever seen. I was skeptical so I googled their business and saw great reviews on this business on the net. I asked why on yelp its not many reviews. The owner stated there is a block that yelp placed to make this business look bad and people blind because all the reviews are in a section that stupid yelp places at the bottom in a section called reviews that don't make it. Look there and see the truth of this business. Look at Google before making a decision. I am writing this review at their place because I can't wait to let you know of this A+ service I received. It was shattered completely, i went to various repair shops but all were very expensive, hell i can order the part and install it but i don't feel comfortable opening my phone up that cost me $300. I brought my Sony vaio to these awesome guys and both Chris and Zeid were awesome in being patient and hearing my problem out. My computer had a fan not working properly and a virus that was slowing my computer down. I dropped my computer 5 days ago and today I came to pick it up it was quiet and runs smoothly without vibration. Zeid gave me my old fan back which was old and full of dust but I didn't need it so i threw it away lol. The price was very affordable compared to best buy geek squad and staples. It took 5 days to repair my computer when best buy said it would took 2 weeks. I love their service, their patience, their little office is cozy but the a.c cools you down, their attention to detail. Brought my computer here for repair, and I got it fixed less than $100. It just needed more memory and virus removal. Fast service within 1 day and friendly staff. I found these guys on craigslist. My MacBook Pro laptop had a virus I know macs don't get viruses but mine did. Lol. I contacted this business and brought my computer in for repair. They were very informative and patient in describing what's included in the virus removal. He cleaned my computer within few hours. And installed Microsoft essentials for free. Even with a 1 star rating they deserves all the credit. Every other shop wants to charge me close to $120. These guys did it for $79. Now I dislike how yelp removes 4 and 5 star ratings on his listing really unfair. I currently work for a lawyer in dc and have passed this info to them for further investigations. These guys fixed my Galaxy S4 after I dropped it and it stopped working. I bought it independently, not through a cell provider, and it turned out this model needed an different type of LCD from the common US models, so it took them a long time to diagnose this and get the right part. I was a little worried that it was taking so long, and Zeid was not the best at communicating expectations. But he stuck with it and in the end he got it fixed, and I'm happy.
