I've been a patient at RDC for about six years, and without hesitation, I can say this is one of the best dental practices I have ever experienced. I've had a significant amount of dental work over the course of my life, so I don't say that lightly. From the moment you walk in, the entire team is professional, respectful, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. They consistently provide thoughtful, careful care and make you feel completely comfortable and well-informed at every step. Their attention to detail and patient-centered approach truly sets them in their own league. Dr. Cheung is, hands down, the best dentist I have ever seen. I've undergone major restorative dental work with her, and her skill, precision, and expertise are extraordinary. Beyond her technical ability, she is compassionate, thorough, and takes the time to ensure you understand everything. I went in for a regular cleaning and came in without a chip on the upper part of my tooth when I left,then he said that he knows for a fact and is absolutely 1000% sure that that did not happen from the cleaning that it happened from the grinding. And that I would have to go somewhere else to get it fixed after the fact that they're the ones that chipped my tooth and this all came from Ali Miamee the owner lol. They told me to come back to get it fixed all just for ali to basically laugh in my face and tell me that I'm not going to get it fixed today. And that I have to go somewhere else. Then proceed to tell the staff to flag my account and that I can no longer make appointments there. read more

Not the same without Dr. Reza. He was the heart and soul here. Dr. Chung is very arrogant, condescending and very demeaning. My husband met her once and never wanted to go back and he is a physician. I also felt the same. She makes very strong comments and makes you feel bad instead of recognizing the problem and moving on. I have now moved to Dr. Pal and couldn't ask for a more genuine, professional and kind dentist. read more

I have been seeing this practice for 3 years, mostly w/Dr. Reza who is no longer with the practice. I am now seeing a different dentist Dr. S (can't recall spelling). He is very patient and kind and providers plenty of novocaine. I have a lot of dental work needed and he's been very kind. The office staff is particularly nice. I'm an old person and I need a lot of things explained to me as I don't always understand and they've been very helpful. read more

The dental hygienists are doing most of the work including creating temporary crowns. You see the dentists for only a couple of minutes. I felt like I was in a dental factory. I feel like they have an agenda to make money and don't care about the actual patient. Also I did not think it was entirely sanitary. read more

100% Dr Reza and RDC saved my vacation to Greece. I developed an abscess in a front tooth DAYS before the trip and they squeezed me in for an appointment before it got out of hand. I was pain-free and the temporary root canal solution held up for the entire two week trip. Good job! read more

Manreet was my doctor and Sarah was my hygienist. I got my exam and cleaning done. They are patient and honest. They take theire time and explain to me what i need to be done in the future. Dr.Dary and her staff are wonderful! I've had one cleaning and a filling replacement done here. The receptionist is very helpful with scheduling, any last minute changes, and insurance questions. I grew up going to an amazing dentist. When I moved away from home, I was anxious that I would have a hard time finding another dentist who was as caring and professional. My fears were relieved during my first visit at Reston Dental Care. They were professional and kind. Dr. Cheung and her staff are great at what they do. She has a few tricks up her sleeves and so far no pain for me! I had to get a new crown and one filling. I didn't feel any pain which is important to all of us I am sure! Another perk, I am glad she speaks Cantonese and English fluently. This helps my parents and motivates them to go see a doctor. They are happy to finally see someone who they can communicate with and share their pain. Oh and did I mention, Dr. Cheung will take infants! Caveating my review: I have no dental related anxieties and participate in a routine dental hygiene regimen (include professional hygiene cleaning and check-up every 6 months). Despite good dental health, I was fearful and hesitant find another dentist after transitioning to a new insurance plan and new work location (from Washington DC to Northern Virginia). I had been at my previous dentist for nearly 12 years. It turns out, change is good! I've found that those areas that were frequently listed as "watch and monitor" did in fact require action by way of filling. Listen, bad news doesn't get better with time when it comes to a weak spot in your tooth enamel. I found the staff to be very professional and incredibly personable! I saw Dr. Jenny Cheung. Dr. Cheung took the time to listen to my concerns (some aesthetic and some functional) and provided great advice and recommendations. I feel my smile is improved and I have a renewed interest in wearing my night guard each night (she found the right words to motivate me to form a new habit.) I loved how she used distraction techniques to minimize my thought of having a Novocain needle "pinch" or sting before getting a filling. The whole experience (from parking to payment was first rate.) The highlights: - Dr. Cheung has been on-time for both appointments (I was in the dental chair within 5 minutes of my appointment time). - The waiting area has current magazines to read (nobody likes to read magazines from 2013!) - The bathroom has toothbrushes and toothpaste for a quick freshen (for those post work/school appointments). - The front desk staff let me know an estimate of "patient responsibility" based on my insurance prior to making my follow-on appointment. This is huge to me as if I know I have a $2200 responsibility, I may choose to schedule a month or two out to avoid putting dental work on a credit card if at all possible. My situation wasn't bad at all, but I could certainly see where having the information up front could help a person plan for the necessary work. - Appointments can be made on ZocDoc (often times I work in cubicle land which doesn't allow for privacy at work, so having the ability to quietly schedule online is a bonus). - Free parking (my previous dentist was nearly $21 to park each time) I look forward to having a new 12 year relationship with a dentist! I wanted to try after my colleagues feedback and decided to go to them despite the fact of bitter experiences with my earlier dentists I had in the past. This visit is shockingly pleasant experience. You really feel that Dr. Rejintala earnestly cares about her patients and the goal of her treatment is your wellness. Today she went the extra mile with an extremely deep cavity of mine that another dentist might have written off as a root canal. I have had a good experience at this dental practice. I see Dr. Rejintala. She is thorough and has a good bedside manner. I didn't believe her at first that I needed a night mouthguard. I eventually got one and now have way less jaw and mouth tightness/pain. She didn't force me into getting anything, no hard sell. Few months later I did get the mouthguard and am very happy. They give you a quote of what your estimated cost will be upfront with your insurance, and your personal responsibility. The practice sends reminders, and they have good availability. The dental hygienists are also good and gentle with my teeth. I highly recommend Reston Dental Care. read more

HORRIBLE. Dr. Rejintala told me I had SIX CAVITIES and I took my teeth to another dentist only to be told I have ABSOLUTELY NO CAVITIES. I knew something was off when I asked Dr. Rejintala exactly how many cavities I had at the appointment, and she replied "like six." What is "like six cavities?" Absolutely do not pay any money to have this scammer drill your teeth out. read more

I found this office via my own yelp search when I moved to VA 2 years ago. By chance Dr Dary was the dentist I saw on my first visit, and I've stayed with here ever since. Ok, so the entire practice is truly an awesome group who couldn't be any more helpful, whether it's trying to get in quickly because an old veneer came off, or dealing with an complex insurance claim. However, like any successful business, the competency and professionalism (or lack of in some practices) trickles down from the top. So with that said, I can't express enough how amazing I have found Dr Dary. She is truly the most thorough, compassionate, and professional practitioner I've ever had experience with. Of course, outside of the routine cleaning, visiting the dentist is generally not a fun experience. However from the very first visit I absolutely felt that Dr Dary had only my best interests in mind. That notion hasn't always been the case living in other cities and having various experiences with dentists who are always trying to maximize their revenue.... in so many different ways. Anyway, if you're searching for a dentist I highly recommend calling Reston Dental. I'm not at all familiar with the other dentist there, but if you get lucky maybe you'll find an opening in Dr Dary's schedule. read more
